This is EXACTLY the sort of video I was looking for! I’ve been torn between the OWG Omegamon Vs. The Premium Colour. I’m in love with the pastel colours of the OWG version but... I might have to bite the bullet on the PC because the cape is such a big factor Or both? Who knows maybe my wallet will be able to survive that
Hey very nice video, I like to see you have some knowledge about Digimon and not just showing the figures for views like others do, but have no direct personal relation/attachment to them. I do reviews too and so I also made one about the Figuarts Omegamon Premium Color Edition, including some info & pre-thoughts vids before the release, like I always do with most of the annoucements/blogs/news for new figures which coming up. Because I have a big attachment to Digimon & all the figures I making very detailed and much to long reviews about these guys. 😅🤣 But this is a bit about off the topic here, just wanted to tell you that before. Because so I do much research for my content and also do comparisons to ,,older-new" figures like you did so very nicely with the D-Arts Omegamon here. But one thing I have to add: I have D-Arts Omegamon too and I don't think that the weapons like the Grey-Sword & Garuru-Cannon on this figure are die-casted! They don't has this ,,cold feeling" like in contrary the ,,real" die-casted parts on the Digi-Volving Spirits have. They are just made from the normal plastic on the D-Arts Omegamon figure, but got this plated look for the sword & the cannon, but they are not made from die-cast. Because Tamashii never did die-casted style/parts for D-Arts/S.H.Figuarts Digimon figures so far. So only the Digivolving-Spirits figures has this die-casted feature for new Digimon figures. Yes, Bandai Japan did die-casted parts before on their own Japanese transforming Digimon toy figures of Digimon Tamers (Bandai Japan's original line of Tamers Digimon ,,digivolving" figures, on the few they only released in Japan, maybe Asia) -(only done 4 in total-other Tamers were all BanDai US molds-because the Japanese molds & US molds were completly different) That said, I also want to point out that Bandai Japan did die-casted parts even for kids toys before, but Bandai/Tamashii did not die-cast for Digimon D-Arts/Figuarts. While Bandai Japan did die casted parts even for Digimon transforming kids toys before, I think remembered that feature and this is why they came up with it again for the more adult collector's Digivolving-Spirits figures along with other official statements they made back then, about why they using die-casted parts for those. After all I hope you will see and read this comment, at all 😅 I also came to the same conclusions, that this is the best poseable Omegamon figure ever, for Figuarts/D-Arts size and before Dynaction thing, if you prefer the more former collectors metallic/pearl coloring style over the Anime/Movie colors and yeah his cape was really weak and cheap made back then btw. - including the overall look & the posing system 😖 - seeing what was possible now - what a improvement! 🤩 Btw: Did you seen they announced Figuarts Angewomon ? 🤩

Okay thank you too and for even reading my comment/thoughts. 👍👍So do you checked it that the wepons are not die-casted on yours ? 😅 BTW: do you know about the effort of making color testing/examples of the person who was in charge for making the color design for Figuarts PCE Alphamon Ouryuken ? (also made a video about and many info vids as well before, in which those details were topic and also seen yours of course recently:) also in this blog/interview were they spoke about this coloring thing they also mentioned that they once were planning those additional wings of fire for the first release Figuarts Alphamon, back then, like they done now for PCE Alphamon. But they couldn't do in the end, back then, because of budget reasons. Kenji Watanabe drew the box Illustration back then for the box exactly for this reason in this special way. He also wondered about that they said to him ,,draw it with the wings of fire out" for the box artwork, while the figure didn't encluded the wings. So he drew the box artwork in this way to hint the wings of fire are about to beeing extended with the wings. I know you don't have the original version, but you can at least find some pictures of the box/artwork. With those informations from Kenji & the designer, I also learned that Alphamon has uses the Ouryuken in connection only with the wings extended, only this is Alphamon Ouryuken and so for the original Figuarts Alphamon was kinda wrong to include the Ouryuken Sword with him but not the wings, even they planned to to them already back then. The orinal Figuarts Alphamon release only should had included the Gradalpha Sword, for only beeing the normal Alphamon, but I also can understand why they give the big impressive Ouryuken Sword instead of the small sword for the figure - because more impressive/characteristic for the figure and yeah it was, though I now found out that it was actually a wrong depiction, as I made my info videos about, that is always so interesting to get knowledge of such things from the official site and the designers themselve 😅 I'am really a sucker for such informations. And there were so much about the new Figuarts Dukemon ahead as well, those aweasome promo shots in high resolution from that Tamashii blog, WOW!
Definetly better than the original S.H.FIGUARTS Omegamon. Though I doubt it is the best Omegamon/ Omegamon - like figure out there when Tungmung's Omega X exists.
Ironically we're getting something better than the 2021 Premium Color in just 2022 (at least, if you ask me). Love the look of the Dynaction figure, it feels like an alternative for the SH Figuart if you want a bigger figure with a little more content and are willing to shell out the extra cash, and I can't wait for it to release. My girlfriend pre-ordered it for me as a gift and I'm pretty excited to get it. This is still far and away the best outside of the Dynaction though, the Amplified and Reboot model kits aren't my favorite and the Shodo is kinda small and likely less articulated. You can't go wrong with any of them between the D-Arts, Figuarts and Dynaction, though, if you ask me.

You should done a size comparison to all your digimon figures and holy cow gallantmon towers everyone. I own him and I was a lil disappointed that his taller than omnimon but seeing him besides beelzemon he's still much taller and not in scale with each other. I check the new gallantmon premium and from the looks of it his scale has not been solve at all
I’ll definitely add in a big size comparison for the Alphamon video (whenever my pre order comes in). I’m hoping Premium Dukemon is better scaled since they’re bothering to remold it. I guess we’ll see when the time comes
$160 is around $60 higher than his original price. Try and watch the prices and see if they fluctuate up or down over the next week or so. The figure is definitely worth it quality wise, monetary wise is ultimately up to you but watching the market is a good indicator. With it being PBandai the chance of it going up in price is likely

fun fact for those that have only seen the english dub imperialdramon fighter mode + omegamon/omnimon = imperialdramon paladin mode in fact his sword is made from the main body

Omega X is great but its it own design. When it comes to Omegamon in its original style, that’s more so what I was qualifying here

The word bigger did not do justice to the absolute size of that figure. That thing is comparable to unicron toys
