I can't keep riding it like I stole it ! I'm no mechanic and after more than 2000 kilometres I've experimented enough with the 590 SS Cam in the custom built road glide, but as told this is a high horse power Cam and its not for me, But I had to try it anyway ! I know I will lose horse power on the Harley Davidson but I'm going to put a Cam in that's a little bit more geared towards daily riding and long haul motorbike riding, more bottom end torque and better fuel range. When I talk about only getting 300ks per tank, I'm looking for better range as I need it for long haul !
Hey Danny Blockhead did the 590 cam in Goldzilla and I think he changed it as well for the same reason.
I agree it is your money and you should spend it in a way that makes you happy. My advise let all the cry baby haters have there
crying just don't reply comment or make vlogs about it that only gives them attention and drives them to keep Cumming at you, have a good one and I can't wait to see which cam you go with next.
thats interesting to know !!
Great fan Danny, my sediments exactly as this fan has perfectly explained. I wouldn't discuss the haters, there just small minded lazy people who can't deal with hard-working successful people. You help so so many with your openness...spend more I love it, it's your time, I'm 54 I'm doing the same (only bicycles 😄) after 2 divorces too. Love the vlogs & especially Colin he is bloody awesome 💯👍
Blockhead is great! I hope Danny visits him on the USA trip. Visit blockhead and Laidlaw’s
Was going to mention blockhead as well, I think he dropped down to a 540 cam don't quote me on that. As long as you had fun with it danny that's what matters most.
I’d like to see Million Dollar Bogan and Shadetree Surgeon do a collaboration.
You do you and let the world keep spinning. Thanks again for all your time and content. I am grateful and inspired by your courage and definitely entertained by your silly and sarcastic sense of humor. Additional thanks to Parry, Veronica and Colins. They are so much a part of your life and all for us to enjoy. God Bless You Danny. Ride Safe My Friend!!!
Danny, you are grateful and thank us for watching, well, let me return the compliment. I laugh so much when I watch your videos, you provide real entertainment and I look forward to your next video. I admire your spirit, your courage in taking on challenging ventures, like riding along those beaches in NSW, I feel your trepidation but you do it anyway. Thanks, and keep on keeping on. Cheers, Mark.
Danny please don't stop being you you're what makes this channel all the things you are and all the things you do love the fact that you went high-end but are now taming it down You're simply amazing God bless you brother stay strong warriors.
You're are real Danny, keep doing what and how you do it. Honestly You're the only reason I even turn on RUclips
Hey Danny. A few of us here in Ireland watched one of your videos last year during the lockdown and your energy and enthusiasm was intoxicating. Yes you're a tad nuts be we absolutely love you a Gucci girl. You're a breath of fresh air in an otherwise smothered helpless world. Don't let the naysayers get to you ☘️ keep doing whatever keeps you happy. Some of my friends drive Harley's but we all have gssss mostly because of it performances on and off road. If ever you decide to visit our emerald isle, we'd be delighted to join up. You're heart is in the right place and that's enough for us Irish to take you into ours. 💚💚💚
Don’t know if you’ll read this, but watching your videos get me through the week. I love the quality the editing and the film work is amazing. The friends you have are awesome too. Together with the bikes it makes a great all round package. Can’t get enough, would love to own a Harley but my brother said he wouldn’t talk to me again. So I get my fix from this channel. What I like about RUclips is your not forced to watch anything that’s why I just watch what I like. Keep up the great work.Cheers.🙌🙌👍.
read all of them !
tonydoc903 dont let your brother tell you what you can & cant do !! Do what you want.
Well said, and keep the vids coming Danny 👏 , 🏴
Danny those who know, know! Stuff the noise. Your first trip to the Cape saved my life, been watching since you bought a Bitcoin. I don’t ride.
Owe you a lot mate! Starting my own channel, hope to do something with you later later down the road.
Danny my family and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, love from the Sunshine Coast!
In the grand scheme of things, installing and changing cams is not particularly expensive anyway. And, your advice is excellent. Getting the right cam is all about honestly considering what riding you personally do, and how you do it. Because while cams can (and do) increase power and torque, they are mostly about determining WHERE in your rev-range that power comes on, and how 'spikey' (high power for a narrow period) or 'flat' (decent power for a longer period) that power is applied.
Good on you for taking the time to discuss it.
Danny I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. I've been riding since I was 11. I am now 67 years old. My current bike is a 2008 Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide Low Rider, FXDL, that I bought brand new. It's now 14 years old. The only modifications to my 96 Twin Cam Motor is a Stage 1 Kit, ThunderMax fuel management system/tuner, and Vance & Hines pipes. I did the modifications when the Bike was new. I love this bike. This Dyna is the best handling & riding Harley I have owned. I, like you, get my enjoyment from riding. You Daniel, have my favorite Motorcycle Blog Channel. You are an honorable man who I admire and respect. Don't pay any attention to the ding dongs and yo yo's who want to give you grief. You are successful. And you are a good man. And you can spend your money any way you damn well please. I support you and your Channel. I enjoy seeing David Parry, and enjoy the addition of Gucci Girl Victoria. My second favorite motorcycle blog is Itchy Boots. Noraly from the Netherlands. Ride safe, have fun and spend your money the way you want to. Jared Howe. In Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Hey Danny, Do not change yourself or the videos its what makes you entertaining. You have done the right thing by experimenting with a big tune up you have tried and tested it so that has satisfied your curiosity. You love exploring and touring so go for best solution that suits your riding style and needs. I look forward to more of your crazy videos and stay safe...
I have been a follower of your channel for a while now. I found you when you did the India trip. I don't comment much anymore due to the fact that you have so many followers now. I just want you to know I love it all. You make me laugh and sometimes you make me cry. You keep being you and anybody that doesn't like that can watch another channel. Your money your life, enjoy it while you can.
Don't worry about what everybody else thinks of you Danny, I reckon you're a good bloke.
Well, I’ve been following your channel now for a long time, when you were doing real estate videos. I had bikes years ago and had a long break and watching you inspired me to get back in the saddle. I can’t afford anything flash it’s a 12 year old triumph tiger 1050s. And I try to get away on mini adventures once a year. From 🇬🇧 last year did the Scotland NC500. 1490 miles over 5 days. Away what I’m trying to say is spend YOUR money make more Harley
Videos and don’t listen to others. Keep up the great work love it. 👍
What ever happened to the R1….🤔
I love following your vlogs Danny. I think you’re a fearless legend. Do whatever you want with your money mate, it’s yours. Keep on riding and doing exactly what you love. The majority of people watching and following love you mate 👍
Well it's like this. Your channel. Your bike. Your money.Avoid negative people. And rock on Daniel.RMM
Thank you Daniel, not just for producing fantastic content but sharing the good the bad and the ugly. You’re awesome for standing up to the trolls who don’t deserve the time of day really, you be yourself and that’s what we love about following you week after week month after month year after year. You’re helping a lot of people out there, me included my friend. Cheers
Hello Dan,have followed you for some time but never commented untill now, I think some people must be jealous, to me you come across as very down to earth, it's your money, you work for it,spend it on anything you want mate doesn't matter what age you are, you only live once, enjoy life, love your work,
20% of the human race suck don’t let them get you down, to be honest I don’t agree with your political views but that’s not why I follow you. I follow you because I think you’re one of if not the most daring, adventurous and funniest person dude around. My favourite RUclips channel hands down thanks for entertaining us you are a living legend 🤙
I think your percentage might be a bit low?
Political views don't make the person. Don't judge the person based on this. If you do you must be a septic yank.
spoken directly from someone who has a specific experience riding a specific bike with specific feedback on how it affects his riding style and experience exactly as it should be! well done !
Hey Danny, love your vlogs and how open and honest you are. It's your money and your bike and you do to it what you want to. We watch and follow you because we want to. Nobody makes us. You produce some awesome videos and I for one have nothing but admiration for you. Do it your way and enjoy and thank you so much for sharing.
Doing this type of testing and tuning on RUclips is so beneficial for people looking at doing these sorts of upgrades. The positive viewers out number the haters
Danny, from day one on RUclips you’ve given us your all, and we love you for it. I know I speak for thousands of us. That’s why we are still here mate.
Thanks Danny. Keep spending - it's great to see both successes and failures. Also really cool to hear from an amateur in plain English rather than an expert using technical language.
I do like the way Geelong HD is like what our (USA) HD dealers 'used' to be like. You could walk into the shop and talk to the techs and get advice on things to do or change on your bike. But now it's just a business. There's a barrier between the showroom and the shop called the service manager and insurance requirements.
I've walking into Geelong HD multiple times and had the best long technical chats with Webby even though he knows im going to do the work myself, some of the info he's shared about tuning has been priceless and impossible to find elsewhere.
There's always going to be the envious the jealous and the haters you need not justify yourself or your lifestyle to them Danny they will never change as we the true and loyal motorcyclist/biker will never change.
I've been in the saddle for 45 + yrs but biking has been in my blood for 57yrs, we are addicts that can not overdose but most certainly under dose.
I have an 86 1340 FLSTC, 05 1450 FLHTC, 2015 1200 BMW GSA and a 2017 1730 Victory Highball... like most bikers I have the same addiction.
I want to thank you Danny, Parry and Veronica for helping to keep me sane over the year and three when during this day and age there were times I was unable to saddle up to ride and survive.
Never quit the show goes on, keep us hooked MDB love every hit.🤘
Keep doing your thing Danny, that's why we love you mate.
Don't change anything about yourself, there is no reason to excuse yourself for beeing you. I think you are a great guy, and your vlogs are super fun to watch. I enjoy every episode! Greetings from Amsterdam!
Those who haven't experienced what has to happen to start accumulating clean time just don't understand. Choosing to pay $30,000.00 over MSRP for my C8 is much better than suicide! My 2017 FLHRXS led me to your channel a few years ago. Awesome adventures for sure! Your experience is saving me $10,000.00 for 131 crate engine. My 107 with stage 4 is way more than I can regularly enjoy! Thanks for the continued content!
I just stated watching your videos, and enjoy them, Im' about 1/4 of a way through them keep up the great work.. I like that you're real.... No lecturing of riding gear just straight up personal choice n just riding... So refreshing to see in this PC crap world...God Bless!!!
Worked at a US Harley dealer for 30 years. It’s your money it’s your choice. I love customers like you especially when they’re not afraid to pay twice. We had one guy the bike wouldn’t even make it off the lift and he would change his mind on stuff after the parts were installed.
lol thats me
OCD can be a pain.
@@danielhayes-domore you would definitely be in my big spenders circle. You are obviously in with Cole. Them are the only guys that ride into the shop. We were never shy about dropping everything to get someone that actually rides back on the road.
Good on you Danny… it’s your bike your money your life your choice… I respect that you took the time and effort to explain why too… you didn’t have to do that, yet you did 👍 and it’s interesting to hear the why because it helps us understand… Don’t listen to the negatives… Stick with the Positives and You do You 👍💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 I love your channel and I’m a 65 year old woman whose never been a rider on a bike.. I have been a pillion and I have fond memories of that… I love that I can sit back and get a thrill from watching your adventures.. so Thank you soo much Danny 🙏🏻 and Parry/Colin and the guys at HDG.. and of course the beautifully authentic “V” xxxx
I am glad you chose the cam you did for this experiment. As someone who is in the market to upgrade cams soon, I am glad to see that bigger is not always better. I was leaning towards the larger cam to get the thump and higher HP, I now see that will not work with my ride style - thanks to you sharing your experience with us. Peace.
Danny, you be you. Been here with you for years, love the content and your genuine expressions.
purchase my book here - I actually wrote it ! milliondollarbogan.com.au/shop/
Your money, your life. Nobody can tell you what to do with either and like you say, it makes epic viewing. Thank you buddy and keep enjoying what you do.
Love ya Vlogs Danny.
I came across your channel in 2020 whilst spending 4 weeks in isolation in SA and WA after my Mum had passed. Without finding your channel I would have gone fucking crazy. Watching your vlogs got me through an incredibly hard time, losing family and then being isolated from the rest of my family was more than I could take at the time.
Thanks for the laughs and awesome content during that dark period in my life. Keep up the awesome vlogs, keep doing you and sharing your life experiences ❤️
Fuck the haters!!!!!
Love the enthusiasm, that 590 cam sounded so nice on idle.
Daniel I love your channel. It’s always filmed beautifully and u add a good dose of humor. The cam u speak of is def a racing style cam and the fact that u got to test it out and experience it in real time is super cool. Don’t let the haters bring u down (I kno u won’t) - keep going and keep being brilliant. We live in the states (Tennessee) but I sure wish we could meet u sometime. Your RG is gorgeous (I may be partial as that’s what my hubs and I ride)!
Hi Danny, you reinforce an excellent point when it comes to selecting components for a bike, and one we don't always appreciate when we're young or are caught up in the excitement of the build process: There's often a large difference in overall satisfaction with the completed project if it's designed for how you ride 5% of the time, vs 95% of the time. Some people love "just knowing it's there" for those 5% times, but most people will enjoy the bike more if it's built/set up for how they ride 95% of the time. Just my opinion.
Keep up the good work Danny, love what you do mate.
Do your own thing Daniel. Thanks for sharing your adventures.Robert in Wintry Scotland.
I think it’s good you put the big cam in as you have always wanted one & now you know that it’s not right for you. Love your channel mate keep up the good work. It’s been great this year with so many videos.
The wise man understands that almost all decisions require constant adjustment and correction. You are truly blessed to have the means to adjust to find satisfaction. Lead on my friend.
Enjoying your channel.
Good stuff Danny. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I really appreciate your content especially now when it's winter here in the US. Ride safe 👊👍
Hello, another great video. Great work done by all on the bike and if you don't try, you don't know! Love Harleys but never had one, or my licence for years. Last year with Covid, losing my job etc, I decided to make the move and passed my licence, the group I rode with and people I met definitely helped me through the difficult period, especially at 49 years of age. Bought a cheap TDM900 to learn but feel more confident now and am moving on to my first Harley, looking at a 2019 Forty-eight. Just wish I lived near HDG as the team seem such great people! Videos are great and really help to escape for a while and learn about bikes, happy to see that Gucci girl is now a Harley lady, a great trip and good to see Parry again, really laughed a lot which is great. As for people who are negative, don't listen to them. Unfortunately some people are just negative about everything, just spend time with those who help and and support you. Well done on the videos and thanks for the efforts which are greatly appreciated!
I went with the factory cam that came with the Stage 4 kit and it works great for touring and all around riding. The techs asked how I was going to ride and went from there and they spent some time with me explaining many different ways to configure the build depending on what I was looking for. Going big just for numbers is not all ways the best option. Think about driving around a car built for a drag strip for everyday driving.
They said don't do it without replacing the clutch. The factory clutch is not designed for these big bore builds. Check out Moonshine Harley Davidson on RUclips for Big Bore builds and info. These guys are very knowledgeable.
I am not a Harley guy but love your channel. You are very good at what you do. Example is this video. Entertaining and gets people like me who wouldn’t normally comment to comment. Well played! Keep doing what you are doing!
Look, straight from Cincinnati Ohio USA, haters are gonna hate. You are more than welcome to keep putting your money and time into making your scoot the way YOU want your scoot. I watch all your videos and love each one for what it is. Keep up the journey and keep sharing. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
Danny, it’s a shame that you have to make a video defending your own decisions that you make, share with us and bring us on whatever adventure and journey you’re taking. Looking forward to seeing how the next cam performs.
Danny, you earned the right to do what you do. Don’t look back, keep doing what you do.
Never say you’re sorry!
If you change to a cam that’s for torque you’ll really enjoy the hell out of that. Great for 2 up and just all around I think. I like the torque aspect of it. Power in the bottom end is always good.
Your on top of your game , It’s the last quarter and the haters will do anything to distract you from winning . I own a 2013 fat Bob and have so much fun with it and my mates all over 60 it’s all about the ride and comrade ship that comes with this , love our Tassie roads .
May need to look into getting an upgraded compensator also the stock ones cannot handle more power then the stock motor. They shatter usually shifting into third gear.
Solid sprocket is the way to go.
Danny, I watch your channel from the UK, love the content always entertaining, you have done much with your life to be proud of, as a Pom who used to live down under foot 10 years you make me miss the place and the people, good on you 👍
Try the stock 131 cam that came with the kit. That will give you a good high/low cam perspective. Since the 590 is too much, see what you think of the stock one. If it’s too little, find the sweet spot in the middle. Keep it simple. I would really consider upgrading your clutch no matter what you decide to use. Good luck. Love the channel.
Agree with everything you said. That's the reason I watch. I knew this is the kind of thing you would do, having got to know you from all your other vids. I'm exactly the same. Last episode, you made it very clear that the 590 may not be suitable, but you wanted to try it anyway. You earned it, you can afford it, you wanna do it, you do it. If someone told me that the wire fence I was stood next to was electrified, I'd still touch it. I'm sure you would too. Keep it up Danny. Love your work mate.
You can’t take your money with you when you die. You’re obviously taking care of you’re responsibilities. Spend you’re money how ever you want to. The people saying you’re wasting money are just jealous. You only live once. Have fun while you are still here. Love the channel.
Hey Danny, you should never have to defend or explain who you are and what you do with your own money. Keep doing what you're doing we love you just the way you are xxx
You’re a great adventure tourer, story teller and an experimentalist - and it’s all good…Thank you!
Dude - the reason you are successful is you do you....enjoy and keep it going - I'm not an HD guy but a GS guy and love that you put the bikes thru their paces....enjoy the videos...keep it going and haters will be haters....don't suffer the fools...enjoy the life!!!
Awesome mate, really great listening to you talking about the cam, very important lessons for us all.
Hey danny, wanted to say I watched your trip to cape York,I was completely amazed , I enjoyed that more than anything on television.
Thank you for addressing not only the positive comments but also raising the negatives. It was great for you to cover that as obviously those comments are taken out so just reading through the comments left (positive ones) seemed a little one sided. I understand more now.
Congratulations on your sobriety! That’s a great accomplishment! It’s not an easy thing to do, but as you comment it has given you your life back. So, keep riding and remember that it makes you happy. So, you’re one of the few truly free souls out there and that’s become increasingly difficult. Cheers!
Excellent comments Danny. You guys are awesome! Learning and laughing make for an excellent channel.
Just do what your doing, and do what makes you happy. Lots of greets from Holland.
Great channel Danny and of course your mates add their own entertaining character to the show! I've been down a similar road with cams but with a couple of twin cams and now my 107 M8. First cam was the SE255 with a good tune. Monster torque and loved it, although not easy on the starter and thank goodness for manual compression releases. 2nd cam I did was an Andrews 57H which I found more geared to top end. Would slip the clutch over 4000 rpm but was gutless on the bottom end. My current M8 107 runs a Red Shift 468. Lots of torque but still pulls hard through the rpm range. I also do a lot of touring and am definitely biased now toward low rpm torque vs peak horsepower for the kind of riding I do.
Hello, please keep enjoying your life, you are a champion of life, overcame your demons that is something not many can say, please dont focus on the negative comments because when you are publishing stuff like u r doing you are exposed to all kinds of people that dont even know you, so I'd spend my hard earn money in anything I want and if that brings you as much fun as riding! well that much better right?... so keep living, keep being YOU, funny, witty, positive, resourceful, and very entertaining THANK YOU, cheers from MEXICO you have a friend here👍
Far and away the most entertaining channel I’ve found on RUclips, if people don’t get your humour, it’s their loss! And as for people telling you how to spend your money…jealousy. Keep up the good work!
Love you honesty and no bullshit. Don't bother explaining how and why you spend your money. You earnt it, enjoy it how ever you want. Cheers for another great vlog.
Very good explanation on the behaviour of the cam Danny.
Helps the laymen to understand a GIANT cam profile , and it's behavioural performance.
Hey Danny, Nepal, India, Mount Everest, then Dead Horse Alaska, and let’s not forget the Australian Outback. You Danny have taken the Harley Davidson places people can and will only dream about. Been following your healing and adventure for a while now and you have gotten me on the road to healing also. I’m back on the HD bikes and it helps control my demons. So all these You Tube Haters can just BUG Off. You have worked extremely hard to get to this place, time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
I am no fan of Harley-Davidson's. Never have and I guess I never will be. However I do admire what they do. After traveling through central USA, I could see how great they were for long distance touring. They are fabulous. I do love this channel. I'm not connected with Harley's but I do love every other aspect of this channel. I'm a fan..........
Hi Danny, understand your thoughts on some of the comments, and giving it the ‘Bird’ made me chuckle. I’m 61 and a bit and been riding since I was 16. One of my biggest regrets, is not getting a Harley until 5 year ago. Bought an 05 Softail Deluxe and now also run a Dyna Switchback. When I bought the Softail, I quickly became aware of the possible issues with cam chain tensioners on the early twin cam models, so decided to swap it out for the ‘Screaming Eagle’ hydraulic upgrade. I also decided to video my experience and share on RUclips not from a super technician point of view but from a bloke in a shed perspective. I couldn’t believe some of the venomous comments I got about ‘what I did’ and ‘putting more money in the Harley coffers’. I decided not to bother after that, even though people still subscribe to my channel. I appreciate your tenacity, even though you are a little crazy at times. I can’t watch your videos when you completely abuse your bikes but I don’t bitch about it, I just wait until you get your sensible head on again………………..over the years you’ve shared with me, you’ve made me howl with laughter and cry at times, especially on the India trip…………I thank you for it all!!
Danny, people are mean because they are unhappy inside or just plain jealous! Jealousy will get them nowhere. You have a lot of GOOD info you pass on to consumers and your videos are GREAT to watch! 🤙
Not knowing and learning as you go is what makes everything so interesting , haters are just unhappy individuals . Keep it up my friend !
People forget that when you spend money, someone has a job making those cams. A mechanic keeps a job putting it in and setting it up. Everyone benefits. You were right to create the monster and enjoy it, I loved seeing the process. Now I get to see the changes and maybe a long distance blog. Everybody wins. People only criticise when they haven't the balls to go out and do it themselves or feel the world owes them something.
Hi Danny. Keep doing what’s your doing it makes for great viewing. Life is a experience we have to do things and learn from it. The 590 cam didn’t work for your type of riding so you change it. No big deal. Living the dream.
Just do what you're comfortable with, haters will continue to hate,I feel the passion and love that you have for riding, ride safe and don't change
Keep doing what you are doing Danny. It's the warts an all that makes your channel a success 👍
Danny thanks for showing those of us who might not be able to afford doing all these big and little tweaks to different bikes. The experience you are adding to your expertise you just can't get by word of mouth or reading about these upgrades. Thanks for taking us along for the ride and possibly saving some of us money on parts we may or may not need.
Just want to say thanks keep doing what ya do. I have done years of touring and really enjoy your content y’all have fun and Ride safe 🤙
Hi Danny, you are making sense! (not always the case but we love you as you are). You are so lucky to have Colin and the lads at Geelong HD and my best advice to you is...listen to what they tell you and act on it. Otherwise...keep making the blogs as you have done. I will continue to follow your epic journey's and hope to see more with Veronica and Parry!
Dont know why you have to explain yourself...i just love wat you do and love watching your content . Wish you all the fun and Joy in life
Really enjoyed this build and its great to hear honest thoughts on issues that arise. Thanks
Hi Danny, from England, love all your vlogs, you earned the money, you spend it on what you want, im like you dont drink don’t smoke, spend my money on my bikes, keep up the good work, I love that your so honest, probably the best advert for Harley in the world, free advertising for HD
Keep doing what your doing Danny, I’ve learned a few things from you watching over the last year. Personally I love what you do man, the REAL ONES will always support you..
Hi Danny,
Problem with personalities, everyones got one.
Problem with You Tube, is everyones an armchair critic.. The dills are the ones that want to tell you how to do things, or offer their opinions of your life and what, how you should live it.
Your personality is yours. I watch your channel a bit. Some things I like, some things irritate me, but its not my place to tell you how to live.
You can DO anything you like with yur money. You earnt it, you've paid your way so what you do with it is your choice, not those YT critics that don't have a life, or your life.. Hats off to you.
Life's full of experiences and learning. How one learns is individual to that person. Some can process auditory instructions, some process written instructions, some not at all and some get it by having hands on instructions.
You get it by doing it. It may not be mainstream, but its an identified process.
Are you normal ?? Thats debatable as, whats normal ?? Everyones different.
Pay NO attention to the loud overbearing haters. Your life belongs to you. Live it how you see fit.
Those in the mechanical profession, can offer advice. Enthusiasts will offer their opinion. Some based on personal experience, some based on fact, some from sticking their head up their arse with baseless opinions. At the end of the day, its your choice to set up your bikes as you choose to do. Only you have to justify to your wallet & bank account what you do with it and why. You've a great bike and a great collection of vehicles that many armchair critics are jealous of. Who gives a flying rats what they think.
Keep the content coming.. It gives me stuff to watch here in Thailand and gives me the itch to ride a harley again if they weren't so bloody expensive here.
.
Oh, by the way, V is still too good for you mate. My 2 cents worth..
Cheers mate, keep up the good work.
From the Space Coast of Florida: Thank you Brother, keep having fun!!
I don’t understand why would people hate you. I love your content and how honest you are by being yourself. I’ve always been with Harley for the pass 10 years. Now I got myself a diavel 1260s. I really miss how imperfect the Harley is😂. Keep up with the amazing videos. I hope to save up for a road glide.
Danny,
Your points are well taken. I did the same thing on my 18 CVO RG and lost all my low end torque and the bike I loved to ride on the twisties in the mountains was gone though on the open road it runs like a screamer. So did I learn , hell no! Did the same to my 18 INDIAN Roadmaster and made it a long distance big road bike. Bought an INDIAN 2020 Roadmaster and Challenger and left both of them stock and am enjoying them more as all around touring bikes. We live and learn and after all it’s our money and if I want to paint both bikes to look like a pineapple it’s nobody’s business. I have 5 newer motorcycles and love to ride them all. Keep doing you. I’m a surgeon and have been told by so many people I shouldn’t ride a motorcycle or fly my plane. I have worked my ass off for what I have and my wife rides a Harley Ultra Limited and she rides 1000’s of miles with me. I’ll keep watching and can’t wait to see what crazy shit you do next. Stay healthy and God bless!!
Yes Sir....we get ya. Some folks just have a problem with everything mate (with Indiana US accent). It's fun to watch ya and learn things along the way. LET'S GO!!!!!!
Daniel, a simple thx from Holland. I like your humor, perseverance and enjoy your vids. Ride safe.
Danny it is just my opinion but I believe with all of my heart that you just do you your motorcycle is your business if you want to throw money at it your business if you want to change the Cam your business what you do it's your business you do what you wanna do and If anybody doesn't like it tough shit you're not out in this world to please anybody this is your thing and you do you that's all I can really say I watch all of your videos and I enjoy them I like the silliness I like the fun and I also like the seriousness it's like the genuine parts ,parts that you put in there of your mental health issues and the way that you deal with those issues I said kudos to your brother you just keep doing what you do.
Danny you do you.
Good thing you try your own style and techniques to learn, not just listen to what others tell you what should be done.
Keep up the great videos!
Hey brother really like your videos. My wife who is a southern bell and very posh watches your videos with me sometimes. She got hooked when watching your trip through India.
We are both Realestate agents and own Bbq business. We understand the hard work you must have put in to do what you do. Haters are always out there, They make it so satisfying when you succeed.
I am happy for you and hope you keep doing what you are doing.
Good luck from Texas!
It’s your money, you earned it. You deserve to spend it the way you want to. My now deceased dad and I went 50/50 on a Cessna 177 Cardinal a number of years ago. To some folks, we wasted our money, and they weren’t shy to share their opinions. To my dad and I, we had a blast, and put thousands of hours on that airplane. Money well spent as far as we were concerned.
Mr Bogan sir don't take those negative comments to heart. let the haters hate. they are jealous. you're an amazing human and your content helps me out so much and gives me the motivation to NEVER GIVE UP. you're the reason i bought the road king special same as your color ( so beautiful ) and go on adventures and do things i would have never done. keep up the amazing work and never stop!! SHOW GOES ON
Interesting. Thanks for the insight! Keep us up to date what your next step is!
Hey Danny - long time watcher first time commenter. Isn’t it wild how you feel it necessary to explain yourself to random people on RUclips? I can feel how uncomfortable it must feel to have to over explain the rationale for doing what you do, when it’s really nobody’s business.
I for one am very grateful for your videos - they have been so fun to watch over the pandemic and now I know that I’ll probably be more happy with a torque cam like the 475 in my Road Glide Special vs something like the 590. The fact that you put down the cash and tried it out with an honest review means many of us won’t have to.
So, Thank You!
Keep it up and continue to be yourself
Thanks again for an honest review of what most shop "gurus" wion't tell you. Thnkk about touring or two up riding for even one second and you'll realisse what you need is tourque, not high rev horses. Passing, red light take offs, parking lot riding, etc, you know you have to have control of that range of riding. Then there is the cruising and touring, you have to have a smooth cadense to your tide. Change the cam, follow gthe advice, you'l not regret it.
