"YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU" was previously a short-lived NBC radio series in 1951 [featuring Walter Brennan as "Grandpa Vanderhof"]- this TV version was about as successful, appearing for one season (1987-'88).
Like WOW, look at this cast Col. Potter from M*A*S*H aka Officer Bill Gannon from Dragnet, Joanne St. John from TV's In the Heat of the Night, Les Nessman from WKRP in Cincinnati and Earl Chambers from That's My Mama and Sweet Daddy Williams from Good Times
Both Harry Morgan and Teddy Williams were in the same MASH episode - Harry played the crazy general (pre-Col. Potter) and Teddy played a chopper pilot.
Not a bad idea to make a sitcom out of YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU. But they eliminated so many elements that made the play's characters colorful and endearing.
Lisa Aliff was Miss Virginia 1983. She had some success, but quit acting in 1990. Most of the local headlines about her in the years since have been about troubles she went through. She's still a beauty, but you might not recognize her if you saw her now.

I remember seeing this on KVHP-TV Fox 29 Lake Charles, LA
I never knew Les Nessman ever had a mustache.
Remember folks Lois Nettleton was also on In The Heat of the Night.

This theme song sounds like a Miller/Boyett tv show from the early 90's
