- I have been collecting slowly over the years, the toys that I fall in love with that are nostalgic and lovely. I find them in various kinds of shops. But just recently I found the pull-toy of my dreams of childhood. I had to share the completely perfect reenactment of my precious memories of my own toddlerhood and my children's. How many times did my own kids lull me to sleep on the couch as they quietly played next to me? I so enjoyed being a child again as I used these precious toys. I hope these sounds will bring some tingles and strike a chord of nostalgia in your heart.

I used to love drifting off to sleep for a sneaky asmr nap when the kids were little while they were focused on playing with toys like these. The sound of little hands searching through Lego looking for the right piece gives me the most amazing tingles.

Such a sweet video. It almost brought tears to my eyes remembering my son playing with similar things. Especially Leonard the Lion, and the building blocks train. Stacking toys and trains were his favorites when he was an itty bitty. Plus, Leonard gave the best tingles. Loved the outside bit as well! ☺️

I’m not really into asmr roleplay, but this is just wonderful. Used it several times for sleep ☺️ I use hearing aids, and the sound is awful when people speak. This one is adequate for my hearing aids. I have some videos I prefer, like the shopping ones, whispering or no talk, think they’re 1-2 y old. Keep ‘‘em coming Rebecca 💖

That looks like a little toy I had, as a toddler. Only it was a bear. My father took a picture of me playing with it. My hair was starting to grow in, and he got a nice shot of me grinning, with my baby teeth.💕

Hi there, I just wanted to thank you for this video, since it fills a niche we didn’t realize how badly we wanted.
I’m part of a DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) system- to summarize, it’s a disorder caused by trauma which results in many different identities (sometimes called “headmates” or “alters” or “alts”) being created by the same brain who behave like unique people from each other. It’s a really complicated yet fascinating disorder but I won’t bore you with the details for the sake of brevity.
Our system has a little- an alt who has the characteristics of a child- and they find this very soothing. She’s very strongly connected to my childhood memories, so nostalgic things are very calming to her.
These old toys remind us of when I’d play at my grandparents’ house. I used to go there a lot since I used to go to school near them, and it was convenient for my grandparents to come pick me up and have me play in their house for a while since my mom would get out of work later than I did from school.
It does sound like a fascinating disorder. Is it debilitating? Seems to me that on some non threatening level, we all have “alts”. It wasn’t difficult to play like a child. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and memories.
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction It can be tough to live with, since it tends to cause memory issues, with a lot of systems seeing each individual alter having their own memories with very little access to each other’s. We’re very lucky that we are able to access each other’s memories with very little issue, since that doesn’t seem to be standard. I’ve also found that my mental health has actually improved somewhat once I realized they were there and reached out to these alts to separate them from myself, since it basically gives me someone to help me push through tough times so I’m not alone.

This is one of my favorite videos, Lia. The sounds are what get me. I am lost in the tinkering of children playing. The no talking version more so. I can put the phone down, forget that it’s me in the video and just listen and my “children will be in the room” and I will fall fast asleep. I knew this wouldn’t be a big hit on my channel. But I had to add it to my collection. Just recently I heard from a RUclips guru that we should make videos for our viewers if we want to succeed. I could do that and jump on the bandwagon. But I keep my channel small and I do the things I love to do. Let the chips fall where they may. That is a saying from America I think.
