To all Bryan players either new or just getting into Tekken 8 now, do NOT underestimate QCB+1. CH launch, lightning fast at 13 frames and safe on block with pushback and chips. It is Bryan's electric, but it only launches on CH. Possibly a stronger keepout tool than 3+4 due to its speed alone
It honestly changes his neutral significantly from T7. As a fan of Dragunov and Bryan it feels like they tried to give each of them some of the others strengths to make them less linear and predictable. IDK who I am maining yet, probably one of those or DJ, but everyone feels like they have much more fun dynamic neutral game compared to T7, except Lee who is just absolutely garbage lol.
On hit it combos with soccer kick. Qcb1 > qbc4 is a natural combo. 40 damage. Really good and easy to hit confirm. Just do a little walk and soccer kick.

3:20 , Talking about Bryan can always add another move let me tell you something broken , after some moves like df 2, 1 You can just hold back and Bryan would just do a qcb , now its not that broken but while pressuring you can do a really fast qcb (by holding back as i told earlier) and mixup with either 1 for a counter hit launch , 3 for a low or 4 for a launcher after that you can do 1+2 , 1 to extend the combo some moves that allows to hold back for a quick qcb are : 1. df2,1 2. 1+2,1 3. d 1+2

Bryan is good against for overly aggresive opponents and feng is good against defensive players. Soo if you like to be a defensive but a hard hitting player bryan is perfect for you.
That qcb 1 changes the game. In t7 all you had was a ff2 to keep people honest when they pressed, t8 is designed very well and blessed every character with new moves apart from the mechanics that imo were well done too

Little piece of me is Bryan curious but I don't know ... I kinda sucked with him in T3, but my friend owned the game and never let me practise to really learn him. One day probably gonna dive in. Xiaoyu is cooler so maybe not
These videos all feel like they have some incredible information for more advanced players but for someone who literally just started playing with Tekken 8 I am still struggling to figure out how to move around the way I want and learn some basic tools for a couple characters while I figure out a main. All this info is so overwhelming I'm not remember ANY of this stuff.

I have a hard time with Victor and feng but mostly it just comes down to fundamentals. Bryan leans very hard on Tekken sense and execution at mid-upper skill levels, less so in this game bc of snake eyes but still is core to the character
bryan is just like AK imo. you just gotta have solid fundamentals. he has no cheap strings that you throw out or a solid flowchart that you can follow. you just gotta be reactive and have great space control. its okay, just improve on your fundamentals and notice what youre doing wrong. stick with bryan. good luck
Ki charge, press all face buttons at same time. Makes it so any hit is treated as counter hit, but also same on you so never use in real fight, only in training to test counter hits
I feel like they gave him some useless tools. Snake Bite plus sway, to be exact, seems like a good mixup, but your opponents can slap you out of the sway. I've had newbies just hit me out of it, no problem. You have people like Hwaorang who can keep kicking rapidly, and Steve, who has quick punches, but Bryan can't even use a tool that can mix your opponents up?
I don't think it's broken, it's basically his old CH FF4 except that it's not homing like ff4 in T7. Don't get me wrong, I know it's super strong due to new mechanics, heat, chips, tornados and all. It is super strong, but imo is not broken, but we can argue that. When I get my hands on the game in a few hours I'll check if still is the same that was in the CBT
Just purchased Tekken 8 and haven't played the franchise in a long time. Take this as you will - but it was hard to understand half of your talking points as a casual. If you are trying to teach people speak like you are talking to a child. I'm sure the video was fine for long time players but as a newbie it was useless.

No, the frame advantage after a heat engager only prevents the opponent from attacking. They can still defend. It's a forced mixup essentially.
