Another trick is to try and get the pick into the center sound label and use an eraser top pencil and put the eraser onto the pick and flip it upside down 😄

Get a drumstick or any fairly thin stick will do. Get Duck tape and Tear or cut 3 or 3 1/2 in and roll into circle so all sides are sticky. Put tape on end of stick. Push tape around side of stick so tape won't fall into guitar. Shake guitar so pick will go into nearest corner of guitar. Put stick into corner of guitar and stick to pick and pull out. Works perfect and gets it out quick!

I just came up with an easier way: make sure the pick is visible and underneath the sound hole. Stick a brown thick packaging tape onto the back of a pencil without a rubber and make sure that it’s stuck well to the pencil as well as making the outer layer sticky as well. Have a camera flash sitting by the edge of the sound hole and stick the pencil in and make the end touch the pick and it will stick on it and you can take it out easily.

or make it under the sound hole like you said, and then get a pencil like you said, and put said pencil on pick, then flip guitar over while keeping said pencil on pick, and then release the pencil while guitar is upside down and the pick will fall out. I think it's easier because you don't need tape (i didnt get this idea, i saw it as another comment)
