Nope, couldn't watch this BS movie from the start. Watching someone suffer doesn't do much for me at 84 years of age and a retired cop.
Very good movie. My hat's off to the director for filming this without the camera wobbling and whipping around for effect. Great job

This movie is so well done. True to life story and the best part is that they did due diligence to find the killer. All the actors are extremely talented. A must watch for people who like crime movies.
Enjoyed this movie, although there were some sad moments, but a real life story.
Enjoyed this story as the detectives search for clues and try their best to uncovered information. We get a glimpse of what a detective has to deal with on duty and that they also have a personal life, as well. Also we see that it is tough to be young and new to the force to be accepted by those with more years of experience. The story was well written and acted.
Troubled Waters is also worth watching.
Such a great movie! I was at tears at the end. I wish it was longer but the plot came across clearly. Everything happened so fast that the film had to follow. I loved the film!!!!!!!

Great movie! One problem for me as a hearing impaired person: The doggone CAPTIONS are delayed and LAG by 1 to 2 minutes throughout the movie...

An excellent movie. Down to earth. Extremely real in its depiction of differing humans and differing reactions to stress and to life itself. No stupid explosions and over the top effects. Thoughtful and suspenseful. One of the best.

This movie was Great. A very heartfelt movie. I almost never see a movie that i didnt want to end but this one made me feel that way
Judd Nelson has come a long way. I absolutely loved him in Breakfast Club. He has a flare for acting in every day situations where it doesn’t seem fake.

Ah! This was a hard movie on my emotions. Anger mostly about the senseless suffering meted out on those women by those animals. And the hurt and pain people go through in their personal lives. That last corridor shot was...hard.
Not enough people to do an initial search? I would have done it alone close to the scene of the accident in real life. Obviously in the film if they find the girl on that night is a different story.

Now this was a fine movie: It had suspense, intrigue, action, the story line made sense and the acting was superb. I did not recognize the Judd actor til the end; he's matured as an actor. This would be a good film to watch again. I came to realize again while watching this film how hard the police work to find people, to protect and save them, always at the expense and risk of their own health and safety. Good to always remember this thought . Well done folks!

I recommend Troubled Waters.
To find the woman on the tree, I would have used a helicopter with infrared technology to pick up the heat signature of her body doing sweeps of the area where the car crash was found according to the range of the equipment, altitude and the angle, and there is the use of military satellite and dogs to pick up the scent in the area in case the woman was close by. See
and there are other tech that would be of good use for finding someone that can be seined in the war room of the White House
What happened to the first woman they saw handcuffed to a tree? They just said it is not her and seem to move on as if finding her wasn’t important. Otherwise riveting plot.

Why didn’t they just get tracking dogs at the very beginning??? All you’d have to do is have two teams each run one side of the road in the area he hit the deer…

@@direwolf6234 it wouldn’t be too hard to narrow down the area to search.. the car crashed on the return trip… doing the math of disappearance, distance from drivers home, and time of crash… you can get pretty close to the distance he could have traveled, before turning around… even if it’s 100 mile span… you can divide and conquer! Using multiple teams of dogs I’d imagine they would pick up a scent before the 3 days it’d take for victim to succumb to exposure/lack of food and water… So I still stand by my original comment, believing it’s best way to locate victim..

From where did they exhume the "actress" who plays the sickly wife?! How did those in charge of putting this story to celluloid not object to that baby-voice affectation?! They certainly have Herculean intestinal fortitude! I had to skip over the cop/sick wife nauseatingly over-used set-up in films expressly to avoid hearing that "Melanie Griffith" type baby girl gurgle.

Wow, is this based on a true story? Wow it was pretty hard to take. I had to pause this movie more than twice. From beginning to end, it was all Just horrible the ideas. The thoughts of these men do were all brought up the wrong way, and this is what becomes of them at the end that’s horrible so friggin sad.
There’s no stars to be given here it’s a very very powerful movie and if it’s not based on a true story wow what a mind that writer of this film must have. Thanks for sharing. movie central you did it again it was a great movie to watch little difficult, but it was a good movie. I shrink going to watch it again that’s for sure.❗️😔😕

👏 👏 👏 I lived in Lakeland at the time this movie was being filmed. It was quite the buzz. I knew the medical advisor who helped with the design of the hospital setting and is also one of the extras. Lakeland’s historic district is quite charming and I do miss living there a lot.
Those police men who put their lives to save people need Medal of Honor.

Only a little in. How can a friend remain so calm after seeing that girl like that. I would be traumatized. They should have gotten a sketch artist to quickly draw what she looked like not in that state (and it wouldn’t be that hard) or get a photo of the girl in question and compare it to the photo. So unrealistic I would be hysterical. Getting photos of her for them to use for an ID.

The questions is great because it shows the great ignorance of people. -Yes there is a reason for it and it is that we are left to be the gods of ourselves; some do it better than others. After Eden, God has let us be on our own. Sometimes in His mercy and grace He miraculously, visibly or not, shows up and makes the difference. This is more evident in the lives of real "born of God" Christians.
-This is the reason. it can help you figure out things, see YOUR mistakes, don't blame them on God. You are on your own, that is how you want to be, he allows it.
"Believing" is knowing something is true, without seeing it, but just accepting the evidence for it, through connecting the dots; it's something in the mind, it can't bring fruit, unless you gain a real relationship with what you believe. Believing e.g. that God exists, is just in the mind, it alone, says nothing about a growing, effective, bidirectional relationship with Him. Believing is way easier than following.
