There's a few plastics this could be made from, none of them are biodegradable in the way people use that word normally. The parts of the phone made from that plastic (only 40% of the case) can only biodegrade at high temperatures in industrial "digesters". You could bury it for a decade and it'd not be much different to when t was new.
