There are a good number of Americans that are of Indian ancestry that are available. But the Indian-American guy that I have spent time with is paranoid about being seen with me in public. Some of my other female friends have had similar experiences too.

i'm not indian but i've had genuine indian homemade food.
and i like it.
i like my puerto rican white rice better, but the variety of beans and bean-like grains they eat in india is quite good.
also i was amazed that a vegetarian meal could sustain me so well.
i dont know the names of anything, but so far all i've tried has been good.
you might wanna try puerto rican food.
we have a special stew called sancocho. if you like beef, you will most likely love sancocho.
I just looked up Sancocho. It looks delicious, also healthy like a salad. Don't think I can find a place near me to try it out, but I will try to make it myself sometime

it's usually served with white rice.
the beauty of sancocho is that it's not a single recipe.
you can use any meats you want, and any root vegetables you want. some people even toss in slices of corn cobs(with the corn, of course). and you can add a bit of pumpkin, which will melt and make it thicker and give it a very soft sweetness.

Raj was my favorite character on the show, but I definitely feel like the writers under utilized him as a character and that the show often felt like the writers weren’t sure what to do with the character. I’m still not happy with how the series ended with Raj’s character. I feel like the writers enjoyed using Howard and Bernadette more often in later seasons for stories than the other characters because they could write more typical American sitcom scenarios for them. I enjoyed the spinoff Young Sheldon and am curious about the spinoff from that, but I am hoping at some point maybe we’ll at least learn more about Raj (since Young Sheldon hints at the futures of some of the characters via narration at times; but not Raj).

I'm a picky eater, always have a tough time with Indian food but there are other cultures where I have a hard time finding a food I'll eat too.

There's a town about ten miles from me with a large Indian community (Hicksville, NY), and there's a vegetarian samosas restaurant there that I enjoy. There was another restaurant, long gone now, that served a chicken vindaloo dish that I'm craving now that I'm thinking about it.
That's good know. Didn't know there were Indian hotspots like that in NY
I work at a Burlington Coat factory store in Linden, N.J. and it's quite a sight where I've seen plenty of times Indian folks wearing traditional garb while shopping for modern clothing.
I'm retired from teaching at University and I had a few good friends from India. Nicest teachers and students!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Btw, Raj was lying when he said he didn't get the job because the other scientist was British. He didn't get the job because he would have to work with a beautiful woman - and couldn't open his mouth.

One of the things that annoyed me about Raj was when he was informing someone about something from his culture, and someone else corrects him, and he cries outage about being told about his own culture…despite him actually being wrong (or inaccurate). Makes me wonder if he actually knows anything about India.

The reason that Raj was able to talk with Summer is he was drinking alcohol, eventually he just outgrew it, but at first he could talk to women when he was drunk.
That's makes sense. I remember the episode when he gets drunk and talk to Penny
I don't think we fans of this series ever found out why Raj was unable to talk to women.
