If I have to pick among Zidane, Laudrup or Iniesta I Would probably pick Iniesta. Although Maradona and Yohan Cruyff were the best linking the midfield with the forefield and scored way more gols in my opinion
No one really talks about Laudrup because he played for Denmark and his unselfishness he always did everything for the team, Zidane was more of an individual and France dominated the late 90s with Zidane being the leader.

Seems like Laudrup is the hero to a lot of creative midfielders like Silva, Iniesta and Guardiola.
All Spanish players of that gen. grew up watching and idolizing him. They love creative midfielders and its clear how a lot copies his moves. Especially Iniesta
Laudrup has been the reason that world cup winning spanish team was jam packed with the best midfielders (especially attacking, creative midfielders) in the world at that time. He was the major influence in their formative/growing years. He was given the accolade of "Best foreign player to play in spain for the last 25 years" in 1999. And you'd be appalled at the likes of players that he was picked over (Maradona, Koeman, Cruyff, Schuster, being some off the names).

CR7 is a 3 time golden ball winner, multiple player of Europe, multiple golden boots, multiple man of the match, man of the seasons and man on the competition awards. Todays defenders are much more faster stronger smarter and overall better. CR7 trumps R9 any day.

Well, we are never going to agree. Cristiano has performed EVERY single year, name one year where he did badly? Messi have been a shadow of him self for the past 1,5-2 years mate. Cristiano have been playing at a top level every single year, which makes him a goalscoring machine + He has performed in Premier League. If you take Messi out of Barcelona he wouldn't be as good. Does Ronaldo have the ability to play as a attacking mid, or as a centre-forward? Can he play multiple positions during a game? (I know he changes wings with Gareth in some stages during the game). Does he have the ability to create the passes Messi makes, or dribble as many people as Messi does in each game? And what if he played in another league? The Premier League is so overrated anyways, people don't realize the space and advantages there is in playing in the PL. And what do you mean by "where he's not the only one who can score"? Messi himself has created 136 chances, that Barcelona strikers don't shoot often or miss their chances is another thing.

Neuer might be a bit controversial but in his very prime he was an absolute beast in and out of the penalty area with little to zero mistakes and incredible saves. Boateng in his prime was so good one on one and in the air and quite fast on top of that. Lewandowski isnt a very flashy or fast striker but thats what r9 is for. He is an absolute beast in the penalty area though, works hard and is one of the most clinical finishers ive seen. Great in the air too.

I like his eleven, but you don’t need Ronaldo as Messi is a goal scorer. I’d have Silva there. Also I’d switch Viera for Xavi and Figo for Zidane. I’d switch Iker for Neuer as he is a better keeper. Apart from those, all good. 😂
