Honestly as a Thor one trick as well Bucky is by far my most hated dps. I tell my teammates to comm when his hook is blown so I’m able to even play the game
@@Fightheavens you just tap storm surge when he dives on to you and he will get dropped to the ground with you right in front of your whole team. Thor counters wolv pretty well. Bucky on the other hand gets to free rein rope you into his team at will and you can’t do anything about it. The fact that I can knock down a wolverine trying to kidnap me and it 100% gets him killed put him as a lower threat than Bucky
I'm a Thor main who also plays peni as a secondary. And i can tell you in my opinion as a 34 year old truck driver who works 50-60 hours a week and made it to solo plat that Thor is extremely underrated. He can somewhat front line because of awakening but that's not his role. I play Peni too because she handles wolverine better than Thor and handles melee characters good but i do agree that Thor is better than Peni
Awakening actually isn't super good for frontlining. You'll get more shields from using your other abilities and it actually leaves him quite vulnerable since he doesn't have any escape options
Not sure how I feel about the characters being ranked without factoring in their team-ups and season bonuses. On the one hand, team-ups and season bonuses can dramatically influence a character's power and moving forward appear to be a primary mechanism to balance characters. On the other hand, not all team orientations are going to take advantage of team-ups and for season bonuses it is especially hard to quantify how much these passive bonuses contribute to a character's strength. Take Thor for example, who come season 2 could get an entirely different team-up and have the 100 extra hp season bonus stripped from him. No one has yet to play Thor at a pro-level without these bonuses that, for all extensive purposes, are subject to being changed.
Weird to me that you put reed so low since he's so similar to thor. He's basically the defensive thor imo. Where Thor can decide to go solo and sustain by using his skills so long as he has an enemy, Reed does the same so long as he has a friend, Tank or Support. Reed prepositions himself instead of himself and his enemy, he does this by jumping around his team mates. He also excells in team fights where he can swipe and hit a ton of people. In all he's best In the middle sustaining the main tank and peeling to protect the back line. Playing him alone and trying to pressure alone won't work with Reed which is why I think ppl dislike him but he's basically snaking around and through the battle strategically supporting team mates while being highly mobile and right as people start to ignore him, boom, he's big and schmaks em real good.
Do you do coaching or watch vods just started using Thor in diamond had some success but this one game I had is still bugging me. We were doing so well I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong.
Most likely due to me playing on console, but I have an 80% win rate with iron fist into GM. I'm looking for 1v1s on the side lanes with other flankers because it's not even close. And then certain other priority targets such as healers. Just asking my team to ban namor for me. There's a lot of rockets in my games, they're so used to using their mobility to get out and reset but they separate from the team and cant outrun iron fist.
Wolverine is S only if they have 2 or more tanks , but if u have 1 tank and 3 supp good luck doing anything in the game u gonna get stunned and killed by Luna and Mantis over and over again hahaha
Curious.. Why do you think magneto better than strange? I feel strange has better tools as a whole compared to magneto. Strange has a bigger shield with NO COOLDOWN in between uses unless it breaks. And his shield being bigger makes it much easier to block so many enemy abilities. His mobility is better than magnetos due to his fly ability. He can escape tough situations with it AND can reach high spots to chase someone or setup for an ult. Strange has a better team up that includes not 1 but 2 characters and his Ult is easier to land and more consistent in wiping a whole team at once. Don’t get me wrong, I know magneto is a strong tank but I just believe strange is better in providing more value for the team if we compare the 2.
Jeremy specifically cites Mag’s ability to counter support ults as a major source of the glaze. If we’re gonna look at Mag vs Strange, while they seem very similar at first glance, I would argue that they fill very different if not opposite roles with Strange being an offensive team-enabler and Mag being a defensive enemy-denier. Strange covers an advance with his shield. He opens the portals to move the team around. His ult is an invitation for his team to come for dinner. Mag’s shield is best suited for reacting to enemy plays, blocking ults and high volumes of fire when needed. His bubbles prevent the enemy from hitting your vulnerable teammates. His ult is, as explained, best used in reaction to shut down enemy ults. The current meta is a defensive one, with staying alive being the priority. And in a defensive meta, the defensive tank takes the crown.
Rocket and Mantis sit at the top of strategists in win rates this season across all ranks. Mantis especially is an interesting phenomenon because streamers had her in S tier last season and have all suddenly decided against the numbers she is suddenly at the bottom of healer options. What am I missing?
because their value is invisible on the scoreboard. Rocket reviving the first pick every teamfight and mantis dmg boosting 2-3 people 24/7 are crazy valuable but you dont see it on the scoreboard. even if you win people hit tab and see mantis had less healing and less dmg than the cloak so they think she must be worse

@ Thor can counter pin Wolverine pretty consistently
@@iceveracity8221Bucky is annoying but you can survive. Wolverine tho pins you down and takes a ridiculous amount of health off you

Just wanna say thank you for all the guides and educational videos. Got to grandmaster on mostly Thor with a 68% winrate. You the goat
So happy to see you put Jeff where you did, I Lorded him immediately when the game came out and I play him like you say.
all that glazing on Rocket to put him 3rd lowest B tier is devious work

You can't front line with any of his other abilities besides maybe his left click

any plans on making a map tier list for thor ?
Thats a good idea

The speed nerf was pretty massive. It made her a lot less scary offensively. And her ult is underwhelming compared to Luna or Cloaks or Lokis.
