Right now I am not mining Alephium. I did a little bit with GPUs and then with my FPGAs. I have 2 AL0 units coming my way which I will review as soon as I receive them. If you have GPUs to mine with, you can use services like unmineable.com/?coin=ALPH to pay out in Alephium or other cryptos that are harder to mine with GPUs. Let me look into unmineable and see what I can do with that. It seems like a good service from what I have heard so far.
Personally I bought one because I have been waiting an affordable option. The Bitmain units will bring quite a lot of hash rate. I am on the fence regarding a second AL0. I am leaning on waiting to see what kind of yields will come after the first batch ships. My thought is, if I am comfortable with a yield that is 1/4th what it is now per day then it may be worthwhile to try one out.
The profitability of the Iceriver Alph ALO mining device seems to be decreasing daily. Given the current trends, it may take 1 to 2 years to recover your investment. Additionally, since this is a new product, there is a risk of defects within the first 2 to 3 months, and there are no existing reviews to gauge its reliability. Based on my 8 years of mining experience, I recommend waiting for 2 to 3 months to see if reviews become available before making a purchase. Be cautious and don't expect immediate returns; there’s a chance you might lose money or, alternatively, see some profit.
Hello, I would like to start with this mining thing. The truth is, I speak Spanish and English is still difficult for me. I watched your entire video and that machine caught my attention because of the cost. What do you recommend as a beginner?
The Network Hashrate is going to grow fast at this point. I anticipate daily profit to be as low as 1/2 to 1/4 current numbers very soon. If I had a $1,000 to start a farm. An AL0 may not be my first choice since there is alot of risk. If I had $3,000 or more I think I would take the risk at that point. Consider a KS0 Ultra as your first step into crypto mining. At around $350 with a power adapter its a lot easier of a risk to take.
I want one but it’s seems like the little guy is just waiting to get crushed when the big boys get released…over and over All these little miners look suicidal
These little miners can sometimes be quite different in efficiency compared to big ones. The AL0 is only about 11% less efficient than the Bitmain AL1 though. My thoughts are that AL0 and AL1 will go unprofitable around the same time so my risk is less. I will talk about this a little bit in my AL0 video. I recieved mine yesterday.
i'm going to try this out , didnt with kaspa since theyre emission is agressive and many people were buying the miner, So i hope this will be a good choice and be able to ROI. You got any idea its better to put a fan on this miner? can you better put it vertically or horizontally? Thanks in advance and nice vid! :-)
I use a fan shroud on my KS0U and will be putting one on my original KS0 soon too - using them stood on their side and have used them flat - not noticed a difference.
I dont have an AL0 yet, but with my KS0 Ultra at stock did not need a fan to get optimum hashrates. My temps were within the safe zone. I think that IceRiver will have it where at stock a fan won't be necessary, but it will be hot since the whole case of the unit is one big heatsink. I will review and test the AL0 when I get my hands on it.
@@Sameerasif1001 Its a risk vs reward. For me I am getting at least one in this batch to maximize my potential returns. If you were considering an AL Box then this could be a good purchase for you since the risk is much less. Also the cost to power it is low with it only being 100w.

I don't have the unit yet. The units just came up for sale July 22. I did buy one direct from Ice River. I don't know if I will need to pay import fees for coming into the US. This is charged when the unit is shipped. Using promo code "greater" I got a small discount. When I recieve the unit I will review it, and say if I paid any fees.
I apologize if I am wrong, if you are asking where to buy from. You may consider iceriver.io, www.cryptominerbros.com, www.jinglemining.com, or from TswiftUSA, t.me/swift_mining, on Telegram as possible options.
What site or program are you using to mine alephium with this? Can you make a video showing how you connect and set up mining with it plzzzzzzzzzz
