This is legit tone and legit playing. The world needs more of this!
Man, when you mix in jazzy lines into the blues, it's just phenomenal sounding. Could listen to your playing all day long. There's no wasted notes here; each one counts.
E W thank you so much man for all your beautiful comments and words!
@@ludocipriani It's my absolute pleasure to listen to your playing. I'm a huge Robben Ford and BB King fan and your phrasing is spot on with just the right notes and dynamics. I can only dream playing like that. Great stuff so I hope you keep posting more videos. Thanks so much!
Muy bueno maestro!
That sounds amazing! The combo of the 335 with the Two Rock is the ultimate clean tone. Very piano like.

HOLY FUCK .. this makes me float! You really have the best tone with the Two Rock here Ludovico! Please keep it up. I know youtube demonetizes if you make covers, but would love to hear John mayer covers from you! Also, if you could make a video of how you record it , or put it in the description or in the video showing yoou mic it, would be amazing!!

I've got a Two Rock Custom Reverb, 12-65, Flint, and Archer Ikon...Now, I just need to learn to play like that 😐
woW!
Stellar playing! Can you share the chords?
Hi thank you very much! The chords are just C and F recorded on Ditto Looper
I HAVE THE MEMPHIS FAT NECK 335 AND USE TWEED BASSMANS GET THE SAME TONE WITH PROBLEMS.
I really like it.
Is it possible
To have a copy of the backing back? Please??
Ken Jiku I don't have it.... it's just a loop of C and F on the Tc Ditto
Great Playing and sound! Are you using 0.11 or 0.10 strings?
.010 in questo video, ma uso anche le .011... scusa ho visto solo ora. E grazie!
Beautiful! Is that your two rock custom reverb?
+tele100 Thank you! Yes, it's the Two-Rock... I left the video uploading without filling the info... :-)
Now I've written everything about the gear I used.
Man, i love it. I'm from Brazil, sorry for my english, but what song is this? I need to know if you don't mind! Amazing job!!!!!
Thank you +MRC! It's just an improvisation over a regular 12 bar (jazzy) blues... no title ;-)
Thanx!
Oh sorry! not at all! I didn't look what video you commented! sorry... it's not a blues, I thought the comment was for another video... It's just a loop i did with 2 simple chords C major and Fadd9
Still amazing. Thx
It's a stylized version of Lenny by SRV.
Hey what year is this es? I’m about to pull the trigger on a used 08 Nashville es 63’ reissue with the same exact specs!!
Awesome! This is a 2006...
I have the same 335 ; with ThroBak SLE101's ...Nashville's are really better then the ones out a Memphis. Nice notes......
Very nice playing and tone! I own a CRS V2. I'm curious to know why you get the reverb from the Strymon instead of the amp himself? Thanks!
Hi, first of all thank you very much for your nice words! To answer your question, there are several reasons. First of all I have an issue with this amp's reverb: with the reverb on (especially at high volume) the amp does a noise, similar to the "whistle" you get with microphonic tubes. At very high volume the noise even turns into a feedback. The noise goes away when you turn the reverb all the way down. I've changed both the reverb and the effects loop tubes and changed the reverb tank, as people at Two-Rock suggested, but nothing, the problem is still there. Maybe I should try changing all the tubes.. Not sure. It sucks. Anyway, beside the issue, there are other reasons. I prefer to completely bypass the effects loop (and that includes the reverb) from the amp using the push-pull knob on the back, sounds better to my ears. And last but not least, I don't use reverb all the time and also I don't use only spring reverb, so with the pedal I can control that while playing...
+Ludovico Cipriani
Thanks for the answer. I was asking because the reverb on my CRS is making a little hum when I pass 10 oclock. According to Two Rock, this issue come from the design of the circuit : the reverb thank is to close of the transformers, so the reverb is a little noisy... When I turn off the reverb, the hum is gone.
+Two Rock actually the shop where I bought the amp gave me the same reason for that noise... The two-rock reverb sounds great, too bad I can only use it at low volume..
+Ludovico Cipriani I also have a Two Rock Crystal 50 watts. The Crystal don't has this problem, the amp is dead quiet.
+Two Rock which one sounds better in your opinion?
Ludovico, what are the two chords you are playing? Thank you!
Where can i download your backing track?
would have been nice to hear the Bridge pickup....
fantastic!
