I've surfed with him at Cardiff Reef and Swamis. He can rip on a small fish all the way to a 10'0. He's a great surfer and damn he catches waves effortlessly.
I have a question, I’m looking at logs to progress on and surf differently as I’ve surfed my modern retro for long enough now. I have it at 9’6 and find it comfortable (maybe a bit longer would be better) what would be the size to go for with this ci log? Does the blunt and narrow nose mean I should go longer than what I’ve got?
What interests me is the bottom shape, it is rather flat or more belly. I ride the High Pro Log and Bill Pin, the belly of the HPL just feels better. I am very interested in the board, as it is relatively fast to get in my area and the price in Germany is still ok. Boards I drive have become incredibly expensive at the moment. Regards from Germany 🍻
It works really well in small beach break. Sorry I don' have video to back it up. there is a ride or two here toward end of wave gets soft, maybe a hint of what can do here: ruclips.net/video/667YuRRljSk/видео.html
Brad, sorry we didn't work with in the confines of your definition for log waves. Ours is Head high max, and under. We will work harder to find slower smaller mushier waves to demonstrate the riding features of the board. Thanks for chiming in.
before you get too trigger happy, read the caption. Or put here for your convenience: To offset the tail draggy, boggy nature soft railed longboards are notorious for, CI's Britt Merrick looked to partner with master craftsmen and longboard sensei Wayne Rich. "Wayno" designed and shaped the CI Log's unique low apex rail to provide more drive, sensitivity, and certainty through turns than a typical “log” design would offer. He worked closely with Devon Howard to finetune the CI Log concept via his rider feedback
Hi Joe. Spent a lot of time to make a more balanced log, Looks like we fell short in your eyes. Info behind it in caption if interested. Thanks for chiming in.
@@devonhoward6633 dev ive seen you ride better boards im not being condisending or degrading im sure alot of people saw the same your a great surfer just saying .

Devon Howard makes great boards look exceptional every time. CI is lucky to have him on the team 🤙
Super smooth! Hope also watch Mr howard's backside riding next time.
Great video, I hope I can learn it too.🤩
Ripping Devon!!! Dancing with the music of the happening :)
We agree. Thanks Dave. And thanks again for joining Dane on the Out of the Rafters tour!
Will this work in knee-high gutless surf or is it more a 'good wave / Malibu log ?
Same question…
Useless advertising clips...

🤩🤩🤩
Devon was flowing!
They have the right guy to advertised the board
I developed closely with Wayne Rich. Took a few years, taking our time to get it how we wanted it. Loving it
I’m intrigued..Would be curious how this rides in gutless South Florida beach breaky wind chop? Thoughts?

Gee a longbord looking good at Malibu, how rad.
Id buy it
Nice 👍
👍
weird B roll, good turns
Ok CI okay CI!
Wow!
Is that Malibu, are there not usually a million people out?
The wave maketh the board
1700$
And?
Half the waves he surf's in that clip are so far away from log riding waves it's ridiculous😂. Capitalism and advertising huh, what a team.
Malibu isn’t a log riding wave?
