- Watch how a woman gets dressed for a cold winter day in Plimoth Colony in the year 1627. Winters in New England could be a good deal cooler than in England, and summers could be a good deal hotter. Colonial Programs Associate Lily Tupper goes through a typical morning routine for colonists, using 17th-century reproduction clothing made by the Historical Clothing and Textiles staff right here at Plimoth Patuxet Museums.
