I had a thin white posca I use for highlights and I've been using it properly,how you use a posca,but only like a couple weeks after getting it it's started to become really dry and I can't use it anymore.ty for the brush pen it saved my actual whole life
put it into water for a few minutes like 2-5 and it should work again since its water based!! i do that too

Kuretake is such an underrated brand. Their watercolors?? Chef's kiss. So pigmented and high quality.

Interestingly enough I got 48 prismacolor at my local Sam's club for 19.99 just 3 months ago. But yes they are normally MUCH higher than that.
Sometimes you can find them at Marshalls, Ross or TJ Maxx for under $20. Even found the grey colored sketchbook there. Whenever I see them, I buy them in multiples as great gifts.
Would you consider making a video about your studio setup/storage? Small space artist and art teacher here, and you have soo many supplies to organize!

A quick tip is to use whitener. It is much cheaper and very opaque
Love prisma color colored pencils the absolute most.
I vouch for the kuretake brush pen! I actually just bought the black one, but fell in love and bought the gold, silver, and white ones.. i used them a lot for my canvas painting to add effects.. they're so smooth and yes very pigmented!
Even sometime i use the black ones on my skin to make fake tattoos 😆

I always wanted to try prisma colors but where I live they cost so much more lol. They look amazing tho.
One time i tried to buy them prisma color pencils and when they arrived it was a whole other brand of colored pencils
I had honestly gotten so used to Crayola colored pencils Prisma colour was like weird. I love them but was not prepared for the blending. Definitely a different technique for cheap mediums compared to fancy ones.

Ahhh!! I use prismacolor!! Very happy to see a talented artist actually recommend something that I as a beginner use.
Everything you show in my country is so expensive that there are not many of them. it was a gift from medium quality pens. I can't draw a lot of pictures so I don't run out of pencils quickly.😄
My favorite art supplies of what I have:
• Pentel 0.5mm lead P205 pencil
• Canson black paper sketchbook
• JellyRoll white gel pens (0.8 works the best for me)
• Sharpie S-Gel black ink gel pens
• Chalk pencils from Michael's
My only gripe with any of them is that I wish the P205 had a longer eraser. Yes you can buy refills but the refills are smaller than the original. You can also buy a separate eraser and I have done that (in fact I have several trying to find a favorite), but I still find myself just using the eraser on the back of the pencil as a reflex.
That last one I the new white out for your school supplies

The sketchbook and prisma colors are far above $20 where I’m from, even before inflation. It’s sad that prices differ so much whilst currency worth really doesn’t.

Do they have the Kuretake in a gel pen-like format? I've used white Jellyroll gel pens for fine details (eye shines mostly) but they're not very pigmented and dry out quickly. On the plus side, they aren't gloppy like a lot of paint pens can be.
