Having never played PvZ Expanded, that seemed like the most obvious thing ever, and when he said "wait, I have an idea" I really thought his plan was gonna be to bring Umbrella Leaf, but nope, it was to bring Imitated Sunflower. It really is just a competition between Zack Scott and Matt Shea to see who's the dumbest PvZ player.

Tip : You can use leaf umbrella to cabbage-pult zombies so they don’t damage your sunflowers, you can also use gloom shroom or chompers (if you want to) to garlic zombies, and use squash and potato mine for early-game.

TIP: If the zombies get to the left of the map, they eat your brains and you lose, try to avoid that.

@@neventhenuisanceI was surprised when he didn't have them but understandable given he hasn't played for a while, but still failing to consider them as an option after the zombotany version was just... why? is the sun cost increase that off putting? you only need two and it invalidates half the zombotany heads

Matt, you should try out the pvz brutal mod! The creators also made harder difficulties called brutal mode ex and brutal mode ex+
hey mat, use umbrella leafs and try to spam starfruit in the front with pumpkin as protection in zombotany 4
I'm not sure if you know this already but in Pvz 2 (im putting this comment here because its a newer video and idk if you would see it otherwise) you can repeat levels you already have beaten up to three times a day and get Pinatas from that world (one Pinata per level) its the way to level up plants besides getting the story quest Pinatas and spending money
this mod is really fun please continue it
this mod also has a 6th 7th and 8th world btw
you for zombotony 4 use umbrella leave as it now blocks lobbing plants aswell ice shroom and doom shroom is neccesary in this level doom shroom is expensive but its neccesary also try to
plant atleast 2 rows of sunflowers just starfruit with snowpea or gloom shroom with snow pea and pumpkin

You should totaly play a PVZ2 mod. There are plenty of very interesting ones and some of them make the game a LOT better.
People say they love it when u upload pvz, but i love it when u post anything!
Tip for Matt: you need the yeti once you kill the yeti it drops something for you so kill it as soon as possible
Tip:matt use the umbrella leaf from catapults zombies
You should use umbrella leaf on zombotany 4 because it protects your plants from catapults

so matt in case you dont know the cherry bombs cant take any damage but can be stunned with a butter zombie so it works better then the nut because once its un buttered it just blows up
the umbrella leaf zombie is similar to the parasol zombie in pvz2, but deflects in a larger area due to how umbrella leaves work.😅

Also tip: use hypno-shroom on the zombotany zombies.
Matt, there are several mods for pvz such as Pvz Journey to The West, Pvz Left 4 Dead, Pvz Brutal mod etc. At the end, you should give them all a try.

Please play more of this mod matt. It's one of the best pvz 1 mods i've seen. Also try doing a garlic and gloomshroom strat in the level. Love your videos.
Don’t give up so early! I bet you could have salvaged that one run with explosives and well placed wallnut squash combos
It pains me to realize that matt has never used leaf umbrella in pvz 1 at all even though it would have made zombotany 3 much easier

You can just use the fume shroom evolution with coffee bean in the middle lane and use 3 garlics like with the threepeater start. It has insane damage.

Matt, if you don't know then Coffee Bean can boost the speed of a plant that is consumed by it. Take it to your advantage so you can mass produce sun by placing Coffee Bean on a Twin Sunflowers or massive damage spam by placing Coffee Bean on a Starfruit. Use Umbrella Leaf and more plants for the early game like Potato Mine or Squash.

In that mod on the roof top you should use the umbera too I would say it a good idea from protected form the corn and air untited
Tip for zombotany 4: use umbrella leaf if the zombie umbrella leaf can block your pult plants why not give a taste with there own medicine
Tips on roof level zombotany use your umbrella cause cabbage zombie and kernel zombie works like catapult zombie

I actually figured out the garlic strategy on my own and it made zombatany 2 a piece of cake. I'm thinking that since umbrella leaf zombie can reflect catapults, umbrella leaf maybe could also reflect the enemy catapults
Am I the only one who thinks that umbrella leaf will help him deflect the projectiles. Like the umbrella leaf zombies deflected his wouldn’t it work vice versa
