I would definitely recommend the mini course. If you having trouble getting to motivate teams members to use Clickup, solve those learning issues and get everyone onboard.
Amazing, you just convinced me to use ClickUp with your tutorial in a couple of videos, better than the own tutorials from the company! Thanks for the work!
thanks, Layla. what if you have a paid clickup account but have also been added as a guest on someone else's account? where do you go to see where you are a guest, as opposed to your own clickup area with spaces?
Hey! This would be an excellent question to ask inside of our free Facebook group, the ProcessDriven Collective! Check it out and join here: processdriven.co/group
Hey Joseph! Just getting caught up on comments🙈 Great question! That seems like buggy behavior if the user is not deactivated. If a guest has Full or Edit Permissions, they can assign tasks to other people in the Workspace. I would recommend recording a clip of what is happening and reaching out ClickUp Support so they can further investigate this issue. I hope this helps!
if someone has access to a folder with list in it are they able to view all the list in the folder? or do you have to add them to each list in the folder?
So guests on the free plan have full access only. Does that mean they can create tasks? And is there a limit to how many guests you can have on the free plan?
1 - Yes they can create and edit tasks wherever you give them access. 2 - Unlimited on the free plan last I checked. Beyond the free plan it’s limited based on the number of *paying* members you have. 🙂
@@LaylaPomper Then that sounds like a good deal for the free plan. I was planning on giving them full access anyway! And thank you for your amazing videos. I’m finding them super helpful!
Hi, I am using the free plan as of now. I have converted a member to guest. But it automatically makes the person a view only guest. I want to convert a member to an edit level guest. How to do that
This might be due to ClickUps Guest update. Unfortunately, you must be on the paid plan to have a permission-controlled guest. However, all ClickUp plans allow for view-only guests. You can find more information here: help.clickup.com/hc/en-us/articles/6310022323991-Guests-overview

Hello Layla and thanks for the great videos... always detailed and clear to understand. 👌 I do have one question: you mentioned the clip recorder and I was wondering if those recordings count to ward your storage limit?
As far as I'm aware, they do count toward that limit. I would confirm with Support if this is of critical importance, though, since I haven't confirmed this with support directly. (Also, feel free to loop back here with your answer!)
Hi Layla! Greetings from Philippines! Your video is so informative though I need to adjust the speed so I can keep up with you 😅 What kind of access should I give to my Teammates as A Guest User, so they can use the Time tracker? Thank you!

Hey! Just getting caught up on comments🙈 Great question! I'm curious to know what type of widget you are using. I tested this on the Task list widget. I recommend adding a filter by the assignee. This was only the tasks assigned to Client A that will populate in the widget, but they are still seeing Client B and C's tasks. Alternatively, I would recommend creating a list specifically for sharing the Dashboard. You can create a List and add Client A's tasks in here using the Bulk Action Toolbar. Adding a task to a new list will not remove it from your Projects list. Choose "Add to List" not "Move to." Now, when you create your Client Dashboard, instead of using the Projects List, use the newly created list. This will only allow Client A to see their own tasks. I hope this helps!
Thanks, Layla, this is a MUST WATCH video that I will send to anyone who has their team members as guests in ClickUp. :)
Aw, thanks Tom! That means so much!
Thanks Layla. I upgraded my boss from Guest to Member and he said there was too much info so I scaled him back to guest and he's happy again !! :)
Ha! This is great -- I've known quite a few bosses who actually prefer Guest (or very minimal Member) perspective, too!
Would love an updated video for 2024 but this is SUPER helpful!
Noted!
Another excellent, focused, complete, great video. Thank you Layla!
