Hello. I have a t4 syncro and I have the lock coupled. I want to recondition it. can you help me with a code for silicone oil? and what amount is recommended? thank you!
Try and turn a Syncro Bus full lock in a workshop when parking on a ramp or lift , then you feel the viscous biting, actually have to rev it a bit to get it moving.
You posted on a forum a silicone fluid of 1000 cst, that a european company offered, that you had originally ordered. I was wondering if you knew anyone that tried that lighter fluid, as opposed to the 100k cst you used in this video.
fabulous garage, not a great video, too much rambling and not knowing exactly what you're talking about. who's that goofball that just walks through? sheesh.
Now I know how it works, thank you.
Btw super clean workspace.👍
If i delete the coupler and put the drive shaft direct to the differential would i have a awd at all times?

Great explanation!
Do you know how much power/torque a stock one of these passat syncro viscous couplings can take before it starts to slip?
Nice shop!

It is amazing how much components are suddenly obsolete when switched to electric drivetrain.
If you have one engine then you will still need differentials and couplers etc for AWD
@@Gioeufshi multiple motors is easier in my opinion.
Clean bikes?
nice, sub
The Synchro van used just one Viscous Couplings
