I like your videos. No talking and a lot of hands on!!! Cheers
44avalanche Thank you, as English is not my native language, I have made some of the videos without narration, Glad you like it!
Fabulous project Roy and a great job on the video!
Thank you John.
The video was great and the music made it better, good job Roy!
Bill Howard Thank you Bill

Always love it when I find a new channel with worthwhile stuff - thanks for the ideas and effort.
Thanks for the positive comment, and thank you for subbing
Nice work, nice tools and jigs, good technique. Also, great that you don't talk. There are far too many youtubers that think they have a captive audience, and therefore feel the need to yak away ad nauseum. Refreshingly different, thank you.
Ant Mallett Thank you very much. I do narrate in a couple of videos for explenation, but all of m earlier vieos are silent, except for the music. In the future I will do some of both. Narration where I feel it is needed, but as English is not my spoken language, and a little out of my comfort zone, I will do a little of each.
very clever! congratulations
+Paoson WoodWorking Thank you
I like when you set a ruler in certain key shots. Also, thanks for the torsion spring tutorial.
Mike Behrens Thank you Mike for the feedback, glad you liked it
That's a great build right there. I'm going to need a clean dozen of those.
Thank you, hope you have fun building and using them
Nothing more satisfying than being able to make your own tools.Well done sir!
Jesse Gorostieta Thank you Jesse, I agree, something about the feeling of homemade tools in use
Gracias: a las personas que hicieron posible hacer estos videos me gustan y me eseñan cosas que no savía.
Vicente Ortega Gracias Señor, por sus comentarios sobre mi video
Hi John,
Great idea about the edge clamps, I made some of your other design. These are even better. I was thinking about the spring wire and where I was going to get it from when I remembered the cloth pegs that I had just replaced and sure enough the wire springs on them are perfect for the job, all I had to do was change the direction of the end twists on one of them. Keep up the good work
Regards John Fithian-Franks
Piano wire can be used
I think I've watched this at least a dozen times now. Like all your other videos, great work and brilliant designs.
dericcornflakes Thank you very much fro the kind comments. have you tried making some for yourself?
No, I don't really have a need for them as I rarely use plywood except for jigs. If I ever do need some I'll be sure to get the plans and make some up. It's a great idea. Simple to build, cheap to make and it works. I appreciate those kind of things even if I don't have a use for them right now. Someday I might need them. I am going to make some of your parallel clamps soon. Another great design. I'm going to try electrical conduit for the pipes. I think it will work fine. I don't need bone crushing clamps. I have a few Bessey parallel clamps. Much more pressure than I need to glue up furniture. Thanks for doing these videos!
Great clamp! Nice job!
scott stribling Thank you Scott
Très bonne idée et belle réalisation.
Bravo!
Chebbah Djamel merci pour le gentil commentaire
That's way cool. Really like the design.
Thanks Doug, I cant take the credit for the basic design, cause this is inspired by the Bessey KF2, but I just drew it similar, and adapted something to material on hand.
You can make those tapped wooden threads stronger by tapping once, then flowing thin super glue through the hole to soak into the wood on all surfaces of the interior hole and allowing to harden to fortify it, then re-tapping once more.
+DDEENY Thanks for the tip, I have not had any strip yet, but some reinforcement never hurts
Great job. Very professional Id pay for those. Keep up the great work.
Thank you, I hope they will serve me well in the future,
Very nice work!
Ingenious! Also, great editing. It was a pleasure watching.
Billahori1 Thank you very much for the kind comments!

0:48 Danger of kickback. Very nice clamps
Thank you, but no chance of kickback. There is a spacer on the rip fence that the plywood is pushed against in the start😀
@@bellevuesnekkeri i see that now. good thinkings :D
Jesus Christ it's Jason Bourne! I thought we were in for an espionage plot from the first music. Nice job. Lot of work, but nice job ;-)
***** Thank you

I tryed to download the skp file forthwith edge clamp but I don't have the capabilities to open & print it. Any way I can get a PDF?
If so my email is gdooley.drcinc@gmail.com
Thanks
awesome....never seen anything like this. normally you use a bar clamp but I have to admit...sweet idea. cheers!
Thank you. The cool part is that it works very good on any shape of piece to be edgde, so if you are making a round or curved piece with edging it doesnt matter.
Great stuff
Thanks
Tony
22triggy Thank you Tony
Great thank you I'm going to copy you I need clamps like this cheers mate
Gary Evans Thank you Gary, go ahead and make a bunch;)
many thanks for your nice desing, some improvements that i made ...
You don't need to glue the rubber to the cams, just cut rings from a used bicycle inner tube and stretch over the cams
also, you don't need the bolts to support the cams, a cut from a Bamboo Skewer make nice axis for the cams
Milton Bertin Thank you for watching and commenting. that sounds like 2 great ideas, Maybe I will try a couple with this idea. It would be cool to see some photos of yours, if you are willing to share
Excelente idea. Muy funcional y práctica....

gracias por el plan!!!
cursosdejoyeriaparaprincipiantes epsilon que son muy bienvenidos Sir
great idea!
Ficou muito bom amigo!!!
I love the project and the video was awesome! My only concern is couldn't you possibly strip out the threads in the wood while clamping down on a project? Especially with repeated use?
Thanks for the kind feedback. I have a video on my channel about building the bar/pipe clamps. there I demonstrate the strength of threads in wood. They are tested in oak, and will of course be stronger than the ones in birch plywood, but if ther where to strip, its just a matter of instlling a T-nut or threaded insert at the end
Nice Job...
Sandy Girousse Thank you very much
The solution that you have sellected to involve the handle, well, it is magistral... In portuguese is "punho de bicicleta"
impresionante, muy bueno....
Roberto M Muchas gracias por los amables comentarios Roberto
holy crap again... unbelievable...! =)
Thank you Nelson, Glad you liked it
It is excellent
Thanks Alex
very practical
Николай Полищук Thanks!
Excellent
peter king Thanks Peter
trabalho perfeito parabéns quero fazer alguns pra mim... grato!
Thank you for sharing!
Awesome
You could have used hairspray to slide the handle onto the wood
merci beaucoup pour me faire savoir ce magnifique outil
Khatir Driss Merci de votre aimable commentaire
I believe in going to countersink a nut or two in the wood instead of treading the wood.
muy bueno y buena explicación
Great project. Now for the question you never would have expected, Can you tell me about the tin toy ladybug at the beginning/end of this video? Is it your toy or just a video you found somewhere ( if so where?) Thank you.
Thank you Jim. No it is not mine. This is a video loop I found at www.dreamscene.org
it is called ladybug if you search for it.
Very nice......just curious why you don't use threaded inserts....does the threads in the wood hold pretty good?
WestCoastMods I do not have threaded inserts in this size, and I am very pleased with the result of threads directly in the wood. how long they wil last.....well time will show
Bellevue Woodshop Thats good to know....for things that aren't going to get a lot of use (ie. threaded in and out) then I am going to omit the inserts.
thank god there is an audio off button..
+Gino Foogle yeah, me too.

+Karakai Zoltan Thank you very much, the last song on the video is called "Chances" and its by Silent Partner. All audio is from the RUclips free audio library. Thanks for watching
GREAT JO,,,,NICE CLAMP....BUT WAS WAITING FOR A MONSTER TO JUMP OUT WITH THE MUSIC WARNING US....
Thanks, woodshop action
Bravo efficace .
Thanks!
excellent work ,,master !!!!
MIGUELITO EL PATRON Thank you for your very generous comment:)
A time-saver, use your drill to reverse-out your threaded-rod...it will be quite-faster than spinning the 8-in. of rod all the way down by fingers...Just a suggestion, thanks for the video and good innovational ideas / techniques.
molla tove That works great, but if you are tightening the jaws to hard, or the jaws spin, they could mess up your threadds thogh. But if you go slow and easy, it works great. Thanks for the kind comments, and thanks for watching
Thanks for your time, money, etc. making these video's for everyone to watch, and take advantage of the knowledge / idea's
n 1 fenomeno bravo
Grazie mille
Excelente...!!!
Thanks! Pablo Saro
Nice video, and nice clamps. But what is the stuff you put on the rod, bolts and washer? What is the function?
+zobook Thanks. Thats threadlock, i you mean the blue stuff
Brilliant. I really love it,
Thanks for sharing this great video.
I was wondering though which glue you used to hold the washer to the wooden pice?.
sultan000sultan Thank you very much. I used 5 min epoxy
