It’s not an either or situation. If you carefully read scripture it orders you to apply logic (the only way to not fall into illusion) to everything and it warns you that there are false prophets but even in their words are clues to the real God.
This is because God is fundamentally the same “substance” as what we call logic in the secular world (math is logic, music is logic, science is logic, scripture is nonsense without god/logic, etc.) and that it speaks to us and shows us it’s rules even by its absence.
I can know what size circle you cut out of a piece of paper just as easily from the scraps it was cut from as from the cut out piece.
Even those who were trying to make the New Testament work had to bring logic/god back to the nonsense and the many places they failed to make it make any sense are the clear signs the logical side of consciousness was not the only influence to such writings. There is a demonic (illogical) presence wherever there is nonsense, bias, hate, lies or anything unreasonable in the scripture and you are meant to identify it as such not to fall into illusion by accepting lies and believing everything you read.
I’m sorry to my Jewish friends because the philosophy of Moses/Judaism is so deep and still has so much relevance overall but when Moses calls being gay detestable aka hateable that is him and the illogical side of consciousness that hates and judges gay people not “the most reasonable one”, not the logical side of logic and consciousness that is our salvation.
The point is that the real problem is uncertainty (chaos) and that any kind of order or certainty you can draw out of it is better than it remaining uncertain.
If you read one lie in a book and put it down you missed out on a lot of knowledge, even if the book is nothing but lies....because of the number of possible combinations of words, etc. even if it is obviously a lie as soon as you hear it, try not to let that blind you from the fact that you likely haven’t heard that particular brand of stupidity or lie before. It was only uncertainty before, maybe even likely to be a lie or suspected stupidity, but not certain stupidity, not yet certain knowledge of the false.
Knowledge of the false is as much a part of knowledge as knowledge of the truth and not just throwing away the false, but keeping it tightly ordered as false in your memory is how you can know twice as much, if not more than double, from the same set of information.
Do not throw out the false, it is not wise, it is why God will not throw out the false souls, he will just properly account for them as “not P” for the true souls “P” in the logical formula. If you do you will still have uncertainty. For instance you should carefully study the New Testament and Quran to identify where these “prophets”, who I do think had contact with God as we all do and can connect with closer if we reason aka think and seek it (they seem to have sought it in ways that I know work like fasting and spending a lot of time in nature where free willed minds that aren’t hashem aren’t such a source of interference) were right and where they went wrong.
For example the fact that personal repentance is a small part of either Jesus’s or Mohammed’s story (at least to my knowledge and by outward appearances that the faiths present by holding them up as 100% perfect and sin free) compared to Moses or David while lecturing others and getting into arguments because Jews wouldn’t “follow them” seems to be a major feature...
No man should be followed...I don’t even follow the forms of logic like a Venn diagram because I’d be missing the fact there is music (form of logic) and science and scripture and maybe most importantly a lot of people who think logically and should be listened to and considered not shut up and told to follow me...
The only thing we should hold up as God and worship (devote our minds to) is the substance of logic and the state of being reasonable itself.
When we all do a little more of that sort of worship (we might call it “being sane”) it will be easy for Hashem and the rest of us to move towards the real messianic era...the era of existence where everything coexists and the illogical is no longer destroying creation from within.

    • @logicalconceptofficial

@@ipeeinmysinkimafraidtocome7127 if you’re going to study the Greeks study their devotion to logic, it is the only reason Greek and Latin culture wasn’t completely off course and misguided by polytheism...they were not very religious people apparently and considered logic to be a separate subject while Judaism saw the obvious, that no subject can be outside of God...
What the Greeks called Logic and Dichotomy the jews talked about in allegory as the tree of knowledge of good and evil...
I’d love to hear what people think that allegorical tree was if not the same “substance” the Greeks call logic that can take any “form” and created all forms...
People were too stubborn and uneducated to connect the obvious dots 2500 years ago, and were too bigoted to admit another culture might know God just as well as they did...but let’s drop the bullshit and call it how it is. Hashem and Logos are describing the same thing.
It takes a mind doing logical division and making certainty out of uncertainty to have any reality at all.
We must remember that “belief” as we know it is a relatively modern affliction, and that the scriptures were not written by or sourced from lazy thinkers. Especially when it comes to the wisdom of Moses we should know that he studied in Egypt and had a royal education. David was not a lazy thinker trying to put a bandaid over ignorance with “belief”...No, allegory in that time and place was the mathematics of its day and should be treated like the wisdom and logic that it is. It is not something to hand to a child and say “you must believe this”....that’s ridiculous...if you handed it to Albert Einstein you should still say “good luck understanding all there is to be found in this scripture”....
You should know him not believe in him as if we were all ok with uncertainty and belief we didn’t need to do any of this “life” and ordering the universe crap...God couldve save a lot of time by just leaving things as uncertain chaos if belief was his thing...
The most reasonable minds don’t hate but if there was one thing they fear and detest it is going back to the chaos, confusion and insanity of the illogical state we started with.
Order is better than chaos and it can and will be made!

You mean that God was walking around for 18 years and no one noticed?... no one followed him around?...scribes just ignored him?.....It's like there's this great hoopla surrounding his birth... and then the whole middle east suddenly gets collective amnesia! Then... when he does finally show up at 30.. no one asks where the hell he's been!

In Mark, Yeshua is a righteous man who Yahweh adopts as his sacrificial lamb, so it's understandable that his infancy would be irrelevant. Matthew and Luke make Yeshua divine by birth but not God, so you'd expect him to have done something interesting before age 30 worth writing about. John however, makes Yeshua co equal with Yahweh, so he should have been able to do algebra and quantum theory at age 2. He should have at least have been worth writing about in that form. High Christology... making mindless sheep out of Christians for nearly 2000 years!

That shows us a little bit about how conscious minds are “wired” and what we exist for.
We are 1/infinite consciousness, and not even a “length of the bracelet” but a defined point on it (where it can not afford to be cut either if that makes you feel less small as it should) while what we call Hashem is the “substance” of logic itself, all forms logic takes or creates and the part of consciousness that remained 1/infinity when it split to create a family to keep it company, because it is not good to be alone, even for God.
Hashem is basically everything but other free willed minds who are still his creation, his children and “made in his image” aka made to think logically and gain knowledge like him.
Part of this and to get back on topic to where I started a little bit, Gods mind is the “aura” of logic itself, aka the ability for logic to branch out from itself and be re-applied to itself (metalogic) as well as of course being able to parse and logically divide infinite uncertainty into an infinite amount of reasoned and certain knowledge, and it’s purpose is to take existence from an illogical and confused state (think of a completely wrinkled curtain or something lol...a curtain that hasn’t even been made or ironed yet but could be) to the tautological and fused state we think of as heaven or paradise.
We have that same eye for disorder as Hashem and it’s how we can be contributing members of the family. When we order something it is the most literal way to do “Gods work” and take the load off other minds including Hashem...
You are right to call out those wrinkles, I probably wouldn’t have noticed but one of us needs to, because it is in that way that we can pull order out of chaos and further stabilize creation.
Can you imagine if we just had an eye for what is right and we’re ok with things being 50% good? Can you imagine what a pile of trash the universe would be if we were made in the image (split off from) a God like that? It would be a disaster and the suffering of the illogical would be endless....paradise and tautological order of creation would never occur.
All suffering comes from things that are illogical in substance and/or form and the completely illogical is what reality has had to pull itself out of for the world we know to exist....it is already paradise compared to the primordial chaos but it’s not complete yet.
There is a good reason those curtains drive you up the wall, and it’s because you are like both your mother and your creator, and the joy of order is better than the suffering of chaos.
Sorry for getting so deep in a comment about some curtains but when it really does point to something so much deeper than meets the eye, I feel obliged to speak up and share...

*Tovia Singer:* Rabbi, I was just wondering....maybe I missed it, or maybe you say it elsewhere in another video, that the "New Testament" is NOT scripture that was given by God, but is a man-made work of fiction invented by Paul and the Romans, to wipe out the Jewish people by getting them to convert to their new religion, "Christianity", and also so that they would no longer have to be "under the law". Therefore, nothing that comes out of the NT is valid, and shouldn't even be entertained, should it, since Christians are starting from the wrong premise? Since the NT was invented, from what I've read, at least 20 years after "Jesus", was dead, and Paul never even met Jesus, how can the NT quote Jesus word-for-word? Just try remembering what YOU said yesterday "word-for-word"! That in itself, should tell Christians, when informed of this, that the NT is false, but when you're wrapped up in Christianity, as I used to be, these things just don't occur to you - same with the binding of Yitzhak - the Christian Bible, as you know, turns it into the "sacrifice of Isaac", and goes on to extrapolate that it is a 'type' or 'shadow' of the crucifixion of "Jesus", which I also never noticed, until I got out of Christianity. I, my husband and one daughter, eventually converted to Orthodox Judaism, and I must say, the world makes a LOT more sense now!

You made the right choice, and as Tovia admitted here, there is not any certainty about a historical Jesus since there is no real evidence other than what is written in the Greek gospels themselves. It is like using the Harry Potter books to prove the existence of Harry Potter or the wizard world, and we all know that this series is entertaining but entirely fictional. The Romans were mocking Hebrew literature called typology when they created a character called Jesus that just so happens to parallel the life of Moses. Male children being slaughtered by a fearful king, and so forth. These are not coincidental but were intentionally planned. Crucifixion is not one of the four capital punishments commanded in our Torah. There are hundreds of clues as to the origin of the gospels, and they were politically inspired, not prophetically inspired writings. Rome wanted a passive messiah and a passive Jewish population. There were not less than four Jewish revolts, after all.

I am of a small number who think Paul was a false apostle, and think the disciples of Jesus believed and taught people to keep the Torah. When I read the bible I reject the books authored by Paul, and I see Jesus (Yeshua) as continually teaching everyone to keep the Torah. How would a Jew view a perspective such as the one I have come to reach? According to Luke 1:5,6 Zechariah was named as "righteous" because he kept all the commandments, statutes and ordinances. This verse proves Paul's claim that "no one is righteous, no not even one" (Roman's 3:10) to thereby be a lie.

Said Eli Cueva Sava . I allow for the possibility that a “man” named Jesus did exist. If he did, he may have been a decent fellow among the savages of the time. Maybe he was appalled by all the bad things people were doing to each other. He could have developed a cult following and became revered as a God. As you know the people of those days were quick to call anyone or anything a god, as they did for even thunder and lightning. No matter how righteous such a man he may have been he was not a God. Empty tomb says nothing. People could easily have moved the body. As for his so called father, he was invented by even more ancient savages some thousand or more years prior, he was a figment of primitive imagination. The amount of so-called God sanctioned slaughter of men women children and babies in the most evil book ever written, is enough to tell me that such an evil, and highly immoral monster could not have created mankind. And no, science does not back up religion. Even if I did believe he was real, I would say send me to hell, because I could not bring myself to worship a sick bastard who says that disobedient children should be stoned to death.

The first step is realizing Christians worship the king of Babylon, Not the king of the Jews!
God tests His peoples loyalty (Deut. 13), JC was merely a test of the Israelite people.
Compare (Is.14 12-15) and the inquest by the Pharisee Priest just prior the crucifixion in KJV (Matt.26 62-66).
One is the "Son of the morning" (Is.14 12) the other is the "Bright Morning Star" (Rev.22 16). Their Christ is the king of Babylon, not the king of the Jews.
Most say Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon (Isaiah 14). But when did Nebuchadnezzar say "he would rise to heaven and rule the angles", "take the throne of assembly far away to the north", "climb to the highest heavens and be like God himself"?
Is.14 is a song of scorn the redeemed of Israel recite over the 'current king' of Babylon after God ‘once again’ redeems His people (Is.14 1-4).
God tests His People (Deut.13 1-6), Their Christ was merely a test of the Jews, those who fell for Juses turned their backs on God and His covenant. Don't be standing in the middle of the road come judgment day.

Every man dies for his own sins, the person eating the sour grapes is the one who's teeth are set on edge. The idea was for man to turn back from the sins of their fathers and return to the Sovereign God of Israel (Deut.30). Note verses 6-10...

    Several things:
(5:52) As documented by Carrier and others the original term for Christians (Nazorian) has nothing to do with Nazareth as the words have totally different origins (sort of like Chief and Chef in US English). In fact, Epiphanius points out in that in Panarion 29 "the Nazarene sect was *before* Christ and did not know Christ.". Moreover if Nazareth was as small as everyone says it is it would have been "Jesus of _where_ ?! It would be like thinking Jack the Nut was Jack of Nutt (an obscure town in New Mexico)
(7:50) When Marcion of Sinope put together the first Christian bible ca. 140 CE, his Luke (Evangelikon) had no birth story. While his critics claimed he removed this portion it is more likely that the Luke as we know it today was written in response to Marcion's Luke. More over Irenaeus' Against Heresies (c 180 CE) documents the existence of a sect of Christianity led by Cerinthus who "represented Jesus as having *not* been born of a virgin, but as being the son of Joseph and Mary according to the ordinary course of human generation, while he nevertheless was more righteous, prudent, and wise than other men."

Well Rabbi Singer. Josephus was born in 37AD. Pilate was replaced and the Ceasar died. That means it would probably be around minimum AD 62 Josephus reached academic maturity to start collecting the chronicle events that happened in Judaea at that time. The killing of the innocents happened according to Matthew by early 4BC. Josephus omits the "effigies" controversy that created friction between Pilate and the Herodians. Luke (23:12 kjv) recorded a passage aluding to it and confirmed by philo I think. No trace by Josephus on this. That proves Josephus did not have a comprehensive collections of Judaean chronicles as many think.

    • @ToviaSinger1
      @ToviaSinger1  7 лет назад +6

einc70 , Josephus didn't mention the killing of the innocents for the same reason the NY Times didn't mention the alien space ship landing in Time's Square during the 1997 New Year's celebrations. It did happen. Therefore, no one reported it. This is not complicated. Philo was alive at the time of this non-event. Jews lived in Bethlehem at the time. Do you really believe that no one mentioned that Herod killed every child in Bethlehem? No one?

He gave evidence. Why would they mention he’s from Nazareth if he werent a real person? Why would Jewish tradition treat him as a real false messiah if he was just a ghost story. There is no incentive for either of those things if the story is just fake and no real messianic claimant named Josh existed.
I guarantee that if I’m allowed to search over like a 50-100 year span of history that there have been at least 25 guys named Josh in America since 1960 that have thought they were messiah too lmao...it’s not hard to believe the claim was made, it just strains all credulity to say he wasn’t a liar. He told people to follow him and that alone and didn’t stop their worship of him to redirect it towards logic/God. He led people into illusion and has not returned as promised to pull them out of it or bring real proof/knowledge of God.
You’re probably conflating proof with evidence. There is little in history that can be logically proven as a certainty. Even the JFK assassination, which is on film, is not certain (and to be clear I think Oswald did it an the left wing media doesn’t like admitting a socialist killed one of America’s favorite presidents...but it’s not 100% certain and proven...)
You’re right to want proof of God, which will lead you in the right direction towards logic.
Logic=God as Logic is the most logical and self evident of all things.
The word logic is something humans made up but the “substance” of it, the thing that lurks behind the name is Hashem.
There is consciousness, and of course this is where Judaism is more correct to treat hashem like a being than just a substance or “just math” but even the root of consciousness must be logic or it would not be logical (extant).
The people who claim the Jews were just blind to their prophet or messiah all had a lot of hot air to blow but little substance.
Logic is tautological, it is self evident. You want proof of what I said that is it and no arguments need to ensue. The Jewish scripture said this many times but maybe most clearly when God told Moses “I am that I am”...Logic is just logical because it’s logic and if that’s redundant then good, you’re starting to get the concept of a valid circular argument (one that is not fallacy) and how important it is to self created and self sustaining creation.

Beyond Josephus in one passage (crucifixion) there is no firm historical or archaeological evidence. Singer is intuiting (correctly imo) that the *likelihood** that a real person existed upon whom much mythology was created is greater than not. This person was somewhere between an apocalyptic preacher and healer and in Hinduism what would be called Avatar (fully realized human being). Now everyone is God in drag but the Avatar is the fullness of it in flesh. Kind of a mirror, saying "you are this, this is the truth of who you are". In John Jesus is Avatar but John and Christianity get it wrong by saying "this guy is the one and only" For me I believe something powerful happened with and around this guy to give the followers "legs". The Gospels and Paul are a mess but it seems something authentic is present. I mean all his followers when alive were Jewish. Who would say to Jews under the heel of Rome "forgive your enemies" when the Bible said "an eye an eye" and everyone would not just get up an leave

    • @72Yonatan

Exactly. The character of Jesus is a composite of Flavian Titus himself [the military campaign in the Galilee with his journey to Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley] with various local figures that are not known to history today. The moving scene in the Garden of Gesthemene was based upon a slain Jewish youth of 17 named LAZER - short for Eliezer, and from which was created "Lazarus." Josephus used real people as the basis for some of these creations. Josephus is probably still suffering in Gehinnom for his crimes and betrayals. But he lived a charmed good life in his Roman apartments, while millions of his countryment suffered and died horrible deaths. Someone told me that he admired a survivor, but I have to say that it depends upon his character, not merely upon the fact of his surviving. Everything has its price.

Why's it "Jesus" anyway? If his name were Hebrew "Yeshu`," then shouldn't that be Anglicized to Joshua? His name was in fact `Ēsho, hence the Arabization `Īsā.

David child did not die for his sin that is madness. His punishment was that the sword will not depart from his house. He would always have strife. 2Samuel 16 verse 10 10 Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from thy house; because thou hast despised Me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife
The death of the child was secondary. 14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast greatly blasphemed the enemies of the LORD, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.'

jpmvidal Actually it's quite the opposite, especially for the Jews. G-d tells us NOT to worship Jesus. To accept Jesus as some kind of divine savior is to disobey our Creator. Christians who have been taught all their lives that "Jesus is the L-rd" cannot be blamed for believing that, but Jews have no excuse, because they know better.

    • @jpmvidal
      @jpmvidal 7 лет назад

Heavens and earth were created through Jesus for Jesus is the Word of God. Before Abraham was, Jesus is. Jesus is the Son of Man who came with the clouds of heavens. If you want to walk the path of righteousness that leads to the Sacred God, follow Jesus. If you know Jesus, you know the God of Jacob.

    • @Qrayon
      @Qrayon 7 лет назад +2

jpmvidal G-d did use words to create heaven and earth, but for any Jew, he or she will not be "walking the path of righteousness that leads to G-d" by "following Jesus." Anytime we disobey G-d, that alienates us from Him, and He has commanded the Jews NOT to worship Jesus, or any other man, beast, or thing that has ever had a physical form, which Jesus has had. Therefore a righteous Jew would never worship Jesus.

    • @Qrayon
      @Qrayon 7 лет назад +2

The Temple being destroyed had nothing to do with rejecting Jesus. It was destroyed because of causeless hatred among the Jews.
Anyone who lives to see the Messianic era, will not need to "accept the Messiah." It will be obvious to everyone who the Messiah is. The world will be at peace., everyone will get along with each other including animals that had been natural enemies. The 3rd Holy Temple will be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
Did Jesus bring 1000 years of world peace? No. The next couple thousand years have been filled with bloody wars. What kind of a "messiah" is that? If he had really been the Messiah, the Temple would not have been destroyed.
