Thank you for the dating inspiration for 2025. Instead of looking to interview someone for the position of "girlfriend" or "next wife" I really need to just find someone who I can have fun with. If that's one date, two dates or 60 dates, that's all I want right now. I've been putting too much pressure on myself and on the women I've been taking out to get to the relationship part. I need to focus on the fun and the flirting and just enjoy. If things progress then the relationship part will be a natural next step.

Love bombing is never good in the beginning. I cancelled a date today due to it. He keeps telling me how wonderful I am. To be honest, I feel like he is wanting to move in quickly.
I agree with you, Annie. It’s too much too soon, but the funny thing is if you were totally into him, as he obviously is with you, you would be on cloud nine that he is equally enamored. Secondly, I was thinking if you were able to control that in himself and give you a chance to catch up, you could’ve ended up both falling for each other equal equally. And he blew it. Kind of crazy....So what is the goal? Is it long term romance, or multiple one-night stands? Either is OK. It sounds to me like someone who tells you how wonderful you are would eventually be in the category of long term romance. If they want LTR and you want one-nighters, then I guess it is good you broke if off (for the both of you). But if you want LTR, then why break it off if you find the thing you are looking for. My experience is women want the bad boys when they are younger and turn away the nice guys, Then as women age, they want the nice guys, but the nice older guys are highly sought after and can pick and choose (from older and even younger women). Older women are OK to date for one-nighters, but for LTR and especially if kids are in the picture, it is unlikely anyone would go for a woman over 50, or even over 40. I wish the best to all, and this may be tough advice or thoughts to hear, but I think it is in everyone's best interest to be aware.

He wants to get close very quickly and I'm thinking he is looking for financial assistance and a Mom for that child. One night stands would be with the sexy coworkers who are younger than my children. Men always claim they dominate that area but in reality, their testosterone is in the toilet. The younger guys are loaded with testosterone and usually have better finances!! My 34 years old coworker has no children and lots of spare cash every week. Men my age are loaded with debt and need me to take them for a colonoscopy!!
