S-a-i-d the pieces are runway pieces and are probably rare in production, but are not Haite Couture by strict "definition". Haute Couture is an actual certification given to collections by an authority in Paris. Only a few designers have haute Couture collections by definition: Chanel, Valentino, Viktor& Rolf, Dior, Gaultier, and a few others. However this doesn't take away from this AWESOME collection!!
Surely this is Haute Couture as the detailing is too exquisite for pret a porter. Sarah Burton is I dare say, the best fashion designer working right now.

She's not talentless but with each progressive McQueen collection, she's veering further and further away from the sophistication we saw when she first took the reins. I mean, look at this show (and even up to the 2014 season) versus the stuff we're getting now in 2018. It's a world of difference. Her newest pieces literally look like Zara...they're fine and pretty, but no where near the level of her work seen here in 2011.
Yaas for this comment, the new collections are so pedestrian, the whaou effect is gone. I’m so happy I just bough one of the heeless shoes of this collection for a very fair price, a little part of the dream.
Just simply stunning. Beautiful show. I really love how the music gives off a 'going to war' feel and how the models all have the same clipped hair further showing their uniformity. Fantastic! ❤️
