Nice video there. Very informative. Exactly what I was wanting to do so a huge help. Thank you!
Very helpful. Waiting for the 2nd part.
Thank you. Phenomenal job, great instructions.
Hello Sir.
I always have that problem in understanding indian-english but it's easier with you.
I want to thank you for keeping a tutorial like this, in a human way.
I mean: you tell the full process, tell the problems you encountered and how you did solve them.
That's utterly honest and i respect you for that.
So many "wanna show my mastery" geek-pretenders just jump over mistakes/crashes they had, then tell others that if they don't succeed, it's because they aren't good at it.
So, your way is waaaaaaaaay more honorable.
I also learned some new things and thanking you for that too.
Subscribed and pressed the blue thumb.
Thanks again
My Man!...Unlike most annoying loud and brash Indian channels, yours is a contrast and I loved it. No Loud, monotonous intro or distracting background music whatsoever.. i could concentrate and really enjoy the whole video. You are sincere and explained everything as clearly and in depth. I hope your channels grow in leaps and bounds. Very impressed! God bless.
I have all the required hardware but I never thought of this idea... Wow.. thanks..
Thank you for the great tutorial!

Nice work sir but for non technical enthusiast I will recomend the amazon fire stick which I got on sale for only 2399 only
Thank you for your information

About Rasbery pi
Thank you for superb Tutorial, I followed it , I am not getting Audio on HDMI cable for rpi 3B+ rest everything is working flawlessly.
Type sudo nano /boot/config.txt
Hi! Thank you for making this tutorial. I have a question though: is it normal that it takes a while for it to reboot the system. I did all the steps, wipe, install etc. But after clicking on reboot system, it takes a long time (more than an hour, still busy rebooting). I reflashed the image and put new files on the usb en sd card, and started again from the top. Nothing helped with speeding up the process. I also tried to switch from power supply, although i have the original one from Raspberry. Could you help me with this? Hope to hear from you. Thank you!
Btw, i have the RPI-4B
Great tutorial impressed with the level of detail you have. Wondering if it's worth jumping through the Android hoops or just installing a Linux distro instead. Will be ugly but at least it's simple.
Omar Baig not ugly ! You can try Manjaro arm for rpi 4 kde version beautiful fast and stable Manjaro.org
Yea, but its probably harder to get DRM content to work on a Linux distro
Rukshan Uddin via à web browser it should work .. chromium Firefox etc
Rukshan Uddin Android is basically build on top of a Linux kernel
hi , i managed to do resize the extra space and it is working nicely ... i also added the cast receiver to make casting from cell phone to the tv , but it does not give much flexibility like the chromecast, but it kind of does the job.
@John -G- The konstakang website has the TV OS as well , but i tried many times to install it , either it took huge time , or it did not boot at all , later i installed Raspbian and use chrome media edition to use the netflix or any other content
Thanks for tutorial
Hujur you are great
Sir I like your videos very much I wish I know like you know n I really want to do IN my normal LCD TV screen too
Worth to like 👍
Hi - good video. Question: For Netflix to provide the high quality stream, it needs to be running on a Certified Android TV box. In your video, it would appear that you are only changing the launcher - is the installation for a Certified Android TV app? The reason for asking is because I am looking to install Andoid TV android streaming apps on it - e.g. Netflix, Disney+, etc.
ngl u deserve a lot more subs bro
Really good video
Good tutorial, but you can easily skip installing a launcher by using Google's own Android TV Home.
great tutorial.use osmc for better performance
Great video... Please let me know can used mobile as a remote for this tv
Do you over clock your RPI 4 B for this? Or do you need to to have good resolution?
Teşekkürler arkadaşım anlatım ve video güzel anlaşılır bir şekilde olmuş tekrardan teşekkürler.
Yaoabildiniz mi . Çalıştı mi herşey.
Really super !!!
nice video bro
11:27 "We can say that Android converts a normal pipi into an android pipi" 😂😂😂
Awesome work bro..... Loved to watch.... Definitely will try.
My personal recommendations is please make a video on same by using old laptop screen
Hey bruh!!... I really enjoyed watching your video... well after watching it I felt the need of a wireless remote for the tv. Now while connecting android to my windows pc, i can use my android phone and move it in the required direction (3D mode) to control the mouse using PC REMOTE application from play store. Could you check if something like this could be added to your setup?
Thank you for sharing this video. I got Android installed on the Raspberry Pi and did the basic configuration (i.e Wifi, etc). When lineage finishes booting, is there a way I can simulate a swipe gesture to unlock the screen to see the homescreen. I only have a keyboard with no mouse. Thanx.
Can we use some other devices as input? Like smartphone or existing controller of TV.
Tell me about some options so I can look into it if there is some.. ty :)
Really it worked with 5v 2A power supply because many are saying it can harm raspberry pi and charger both
Thanks alot, My android TV is ready now in rpi3 ....
I tried it but it just got stuck on boot screen, please help!
@@rorygleeson5656 step 1: format the SD card by SD card formatter
step 2: Download and install balena ecther app in pc then download lineage os in pc
if you using rpi3 then use www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261718177
or if you using rpi4 then use
androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261721851
Download your os from above
step 3: open balena app start flashing SD card with that os , after completing put SD card in rpi boot up , It takes time to bootup....
Hi This is a very good detailed tutorial. One question - How do I expand the root partition to use the free SD card space
Use gparted
Thanks
Awesome
Have you been able to get the Android version 10 working on the same platform?
Thanks bro 🇵🇭✌🏽
hello 'somyajit'... you found 'swayamjit' another Raspberry pi experimenter

Thanks for this wonderful Video,
Can you please suggest if it will work on raspberry pi 3b model?
I am using a crt tv which does not have HDMI port. So should I try to connect it with my tv with help of hdmi to av converter

Mxq ko hum yeh wala stock daal sakte hain kya
Is there a launcher that will make it look like the FireTV home screen? I've always liked Amazon's layout
i dont know if ill get an answer but how long did it take to boot after the install?
What are you doing adding thermal paste to a thermal pad install?
Hy bruh, can use remote for this smart tv?
thank you brother now am able to play free fire in large screen and i also bouht heat sinks i works without any proble or lag thanks a lottttttttttt
very cool
Hi, so after the lineage os boot screen (black screen with lineage arc in blue), it keeps rebooting again and again. I am using a pi 4. I have tried different sd cards as well and different displays (monitor, 720p tv, 1080p tv) but no luck.
hi , how to resize the sd card partition ? can you help on this , as post installation it shows 1 gb or so free , the card i used is 32 gb card
i have older version of raspberry pi (first generation Raspberry Pi Model B). Can it support converting into android smart TV?
Hi how do you change the resolution to 1080, because I tried to change the TV settings but they are either blocking clock
Very nice but running a fan in a TV setup is a no go for me. I'll use the 400, it's fanless and can be overclocked to 2.3 ghz without cooling. It can be mounted behind the tv screen no problem.
I looking for a img with android 7+ inside in 64bits for raspberry 4 8 go in resolition vga 640x480....possible?
I will use it on arcade cabinet.
Hi, when I reboot after installing the recovery2boot package, it gets stuck on a black screen after the rainbow screen. Do you know what this is about? Or how I can fix it? I am using an rpi3 btw. Used the corrwsponding image and used rpi3-recovery command instead of rpi4
I appreciate that you used a heat sink that was bigger than the CPU itself, for more heat dissipation. So was the fan actually necessary?
Yes
Thanks for providing the video. but when i rebooted my play store not showing.
Can i navigate via remote or i have to use keyboard and mouse everytime?
I have Raspberry Pi 4 4gb version, I followed your steps and installed everything successfully, but the graphics seem to be of very degrading quality. Any screen changes, the background becomes dotted green. Any suggestions how to improve that? I'm connecting my Pi to a MiTV 55inch 4k display
Hi. Can we install this OS in any android devices?
Hey you did the awesome one but tell me if I want to connect cable TV set top with it then what is the procedure???
Download oreotv apk broo
@@johnlucas568 what is the main of this application;bro???
Ooh you can use it as substitute to cable tv... Get all channels and shows for free .... If you want to connect cable set top box just unplug the hdmi from raspberry pie and connect one from set top box..
after this step, i install GAPS and recovery2boot only that when I reboot, the play store does not appear, can you help me
?
bro u r our indian iron-man 💪💪💪
Very good explanation, now I have installed Andriod on my raspberry pi. I have One query how can we restart or shutdown, I am unable to see any option like this.
can we connect this converted android tv to our smartphones
Can you use any remote to control the user interface?
Love your effort❤️....
Thank you
