Hello, Sharon! Well, WHAT FUN today with these “different” tools to create the cards! LOVE all 3 of the creations, Sharon! Simple and fun! GREAT Masculine cards which we often struggle to create! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Enjoy your day! :-))
TxStampin Sharon Armstrong No, I haven’t done the “marble technique” on a card but when I taught 2nd Grade, we taught a Life Cycle unit in Science watching the metamorphosis of Monarchs! ONE of the projects we did was to create Adult Monarchs w/construction paper! To get the “wings”, we used orange paper w/black ink n’ marbles in a box lid or foil pan~~KIDS loved the project!! Then using a cardstock pattern, they cut out the adult from their dried orange paper! Their job then was to retell the Life Cycle stages via their own created butterfly to their parents! EVERYONE learned a lot through a WONDERFUL project! I do miss those days at times! Thanks for letting me share! HUGS!
You are right those are fun techniques from the past and I have not done the marble one for a long time. Thanks for showing the card designs. I love that stamp set too.
Sharon - I had heard of the rubber band technique. But you surprised me with the marble technique! I like the look of the cards! Nice looking texture! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us! I understand the old school ways because I am there age wise! Lol👏💕
Tfs these techniques. I have seen the rubber band technique before but when you showed the marble technique my mouth fell wjde open. Lol! If I can find some marbles I will certainly try it. Looks like fun!
You are so welcome Glenda! Got your attention I see with the marbles! I do hope you give it a try! Super fun! Easy cleanup...just run water over in the sink!
Love your cards in the way that you used these fun techniques. I remember these techniques were when I first started stamping. You've got some years on me in stamping. I was a demo from 2005 to 2012 and had to stop and now I'm coming up on two years again in a couple of weeks
@@TxStampinSharon there was one we used to do that I've been racking my brain try to remember and it used spray starch. You wouldn't happen to remember what that was would you? I have it on the hard drive of a computer that died a bunch of years ago

Love the cards! I like the softer look of painting the lighthouse by scribbling the felt pen on a stamping base and using the watercolour blending pen to paint lighthouse and ground! Going to have to buy myself some elastic sand marbles next trip to the dollar store. Thanks for the video!!!
It's a fun technique! Actually all I do is take the case and marbles to the sink and run water over them. I rolled the marbles around and they cleaned up nicely. I put them all on an old towel to dry off!
Hi from England, UK. Just stumbled across your video today. Love the cards and techniques used, especially loved the cards using the elastic band and marbles. Thanks for sharing.
