The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived;
Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. I had climpses of awakening .its the coolest thing ever.because all the the negativity suddenly dissapears and is replaced with freedom
That's the word - freedom. All these kinds of teachings that trigger inner knowing lead to freedom. Nothing compares to it. It's the most peaceful state I've ever known.

Yes! when I listen to Mr. Tolle I am able to relax and he breaks things down to where you can understand. He's also so funny in his calm way. I am able to carry on so much better than I use to. Man I only wish I would have known this in my early years. No matter I'm here now!!!!!!!

thought can only improve the mind made self the ego. All the self improvment in thinking and in time is for the improvement for the ego, and so your true self cannot be improved there.

I’m so glad you did, I have a book written by him called ‘a new earth’, it is well worn with pages turned over and underlined parts here and there throughout it, I think if you can get hold of a copy it will really accelerate the ‘process’ for you, plus I think you would really just enjoy it and keep coming back to it. (It is not a ‘self-help industry’ book, I must have wasted hundreds on those in the past

Ekhart was born a biological female.
How are we living. How do we live together. How do we produce things. How do we work. How do we educate our children. How do we treat nature. What do we do in live. How do we think. How do we treat animals. How do we treat nature. How should society be. All these things are not answered by awakening and spirituallity allone. These Questions need a practical way of beeing of living. To awake and to understand the spirits of our live is the first step. And then there is the need for creating or live practicaly. Its not only about our awakening its about practikal living that is needed in this world. It is the right way of thinking and doing to make live good for everybody.
Unfortunately most of us still need our egos to survive in the world today. You can alter your view of the world to be a much better place to live, work, teach by living in the moment 🙏

It is so profound for me to identify what the ego in me is and create a little gap between being pulled by my thoughts , so far I just recognize and that’s big for me . It’s like an auto start program that plays rerun thought patterns , so cool to see it . I feel if you could get beyond that programmed thought you could perhaps have spontaneous right action most of the time or higher guidance .
What i recognize from practicing to be seperable from our thoughts is that nothing in this life has meaning and i notice that time goes fast and my memory doesn't remember for a long time as it used to be when i used to identifiy my self with thoughts because i'm focusing on the present moment as well as i feel that i changed a lot.
Justin Covert, you described and stated that so well. For me it’s now that I can see the sometimes crazy paths my thought patterns take, and how they took me over in my past leading up to nonsensical behaviors because of misguided beliefs❤️

When i practice being aware of things i feel like i'm not aware as well as i feel like it's strange to look at things without giving names for example today i was in the beach i was looking at waves and the sky but i feel i don't exist you got the idea

I am going through the most terrible time of my life - living in fear everyday - and not much to do with virus - but another situation - even though have to be dealing with virus on top. just come home feeling terrible -found this video - in 5 mins - I laughed out loud. Discovered Eckart about 2 yrs ago and turn to him for solace - ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUY!

Reading Eckhart and listening to his teachings has been rewarding for me. I started off wanting to manifest all my desires to now wanting peace. I still have desires but my chest feels less tight, I think about them less. I just AM. Anytime I need a top up I just listen to his videos. Oh and ho'oponopono has also helped me to clean any negative thoughts that attached themselves to who I thought I was. Such a relief. Thank you.

Awareness is the perfect state especially when dealing with others as from the egoic state it's easy to get influenced with the ways of the world.this is a different path and to chose being definately leads to innerpeace.

After going through a heart chakra awakening, eckart tolle is the only person I push people towards.
I'm now living the reality of oneness on a constant level because of this guys teachings. And my determination to be detached from my mind.
Now, the ego never dies.
I dont know if eckart would agree but from personal experience, the ego is always there. Some days I'm identified with it. Some days im not. The only thing iv learned that eckart didnt teach me is the fact that I dont need to do this or that, be this or that. I cant put what was learned into words. It was more the realization that I just be.
Spirtual teachings, alot of them give you the impression to do certain things but the real answer, which isn't the answer is to just be. Be with what ever is.

Das Ego hat ja auch ein Recht auf Leben und sollte nicht unterdrückt werden. Ich liebe das denkende Ego und das hierseits ist ja auch so gestaltet, dass ich im Materiellen wirken soll. Aber ich blicke oft auf deine tröstenden Worte, die natürlich richtig sind und befreien. Der erwachte, denkende Mensch, der bewusst seine Umwelt prägt und die Ewigkeit in seinem Herzen trägt. Time teaches us so much only to take it all back in the end.
Un- conditioned consciousness(present moment) is only possible when there is freedom from known (past) and unknown (future).

From the time I was a child, I loved silence. On Saturday mornings, I would sometimes walk to our local church, and sit in the silence. I am now 75, and for the last 10 years have been dealing with tinnitus (sometimes the ringing is louder/sometimes softer; sometimes the pitch is higher/sometimes lower). Is is possible to experience silence with tinnitus? I still enjoy silence - no external sounds - but how do I escape from the internal tinnitus?
Hello Judith, I think I know what you mean... I ear a constant crystalline tingling in both ears. It started in my twenties along with my spiritual awakening... It may be called tinnitus, but somehow I see it as the sound of the universe, and I often simply listen to that sound to become still... Maybe you will not be able to escape the sound, but could that work for you as well, simply telling yourself that you are enjoying the sound of the universe? :)

Yes there a deeper levels but once you join your heart to your mind then things work out pretty smoothly and you don’t really have to worry about your mind, never mind.

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
