I went to the Chatuchak market on my trip earlier this month. Sadly I was so focused on getting in and out because I was late, I forgot to try the food area. The day after I visited the Khlong Toei Fresh Market. It was my best experience of my short 54 hour trip to Thailand. I didn't see any other tourists which made it even more special. Great point about the clothes, my sandals still smell like fish weeks later.
Ahaha, i spoke from experience for the shoes part, wore my running shoes to the Khlong Toei market and i regretted it deeply, but i wish more people would visit that market, truly an eye opening experience
There’re 2 places is the biggest market in Thailand : Si Mum Meang Market, sell many fresh fruit from around the world here and Talad Thai Market, sell Fresh food, ready-to-cook food of all kinds👍👍👍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
The best time to go is Saturday and Sunday, from 7AM till 6PM, the market is busiest after 2PM when its very lively and the atmosphere is great. Its also open as a night market on Friday night, from 6PM till Midnight, but i would say only 20%-30% of the shops are open on Friday Nights.
@@2226robin that is the problem, the market actually opens on Wednesday and Thursday as well(Although a lot smaller, only a few section like the plant section is open). i do not like using the term Chatuchak Weekend Market as it leads to many people thinking it only opens during the weekends.

For ease people don’t call “Chatuchak Market”, people called “Chatuchak Weekend Market” or “Weekend Market” for short.

Why don't you right the name of the market while starting to show
because it is in the video already
