Cheers, Alicia & Nate ✌️
There's saying that "Malaysian kindness is in the air" !! Infact this is the only country in the world where you can smell "kindness" everyway!!. ❤️❤️❤️
"Spread the love" great quote Burger Chef.❤👍🏻
Such a great quote, he was awesome 👏
But for me, u should accept his treat. Usually if somebody treats u, u accept it and u come back the other days with gift or just treat em something else back. But nvrmnd as u're leaving the next day. Burger chef knew and he just act sincerely.

It's not that Ramly dont trust all these fastfood chain with their halalness because if these international f&b managed to open here that means they have gone thru a strict process of ensuring it's halal already, but what Ramly envisioned was to provide patties with quality meats as the sentiments back then (even now) was that those patties frm the fastfood chains are made of "scraps" than real lean meat, if u know what I mean.
Got it, that makes a lot of sense, thank you for sharing that 🙌
The main reason why Ramly made the patty back then in 1978 was bcoz there was no, ir hardly any, halal burger patty available in Malaysian market and none produced by a Malay (Bumiputera). Halal was being the main reason.

You're deluded. There's nothing quality with respect to Ramly burger meat. The beef is substandard and doesn't meet international health standards. This is why Ramly is banned in Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, all EU countries and the UK and the US and Canada. I don't know what "fastfood chains" you have in mind but the international ones all have strict health and hygiene standards and use "real lean meat". Cook a Ramly burger at home and the vile smell tells you it's not quality meat.
@@joseinternazionale It's doubtful Ramly products are halal.
Ramly burger is basically available everywhere in Malaysia, even in the small town. Wherever you go, just ask local where you can get it😄
most of them in housing area because that is where the most customers are
So happy to see you enjoying all the food in Malaysia...even eating the cili padi! Ramly burger is definitely nice for us Malaysians, and actually not every Ramly burger stall tastes the same so each one has it's own unique taste and flavour. Do try beef as well next time. And as for food in Malaysia in general, we have lots and lots of variety so you can never get bored of trying something new... :)
Thats Malaysian way of appreciations.Thank you for coming to Malaysia
only show kindness to Mat Saleh kan....
I love love love love love your content on Malaysia. I hope you guys will do more of it.
Aww, thank you so much, that means the world to us 😊 We are working on the next video now 🧑💻

10:10 Damansara Uptown, is just a shell of it's former glory. Used to be really popular until local authorities shut down the street peddlers around that area. Now it's barely anything. There was an uncle who sells fried fish there, it was really really good. Imagine that.
14:12 Brader = brother. Local "spelling" if you will.
If you want to enjoy a sunset...please come ko Kota Kinabalu, Sabah...One of the world most beautiful sunset...
Fun fact . Almost 96% Ramly Burger Stall infront of 7eleven shoplot store . Reminder . Not all stall burger serve Ramly . Must ask . Some OTAI and GTR Burger .
15:16 Good job, Along.
He's the son of Brader John..i used to eat that burger almost every day when i stayed around that area.
This is the 3rd time y'all coming to Malaysia and it is your first time trying Ramly burger.. 😅😅😅 always there a reason to come back to Malaysia.. I think.. next in line "ikan patin masak tempoyak"
I know, it's crazy it has taken this long, but it was worth the wait. And thanks for the recommendation, we will definitely be back to try it one day soon 🙌🇲🇾💛
Thank you for this video. Wonderful Ramly burger.
Of course, we had so much fun making it. And thank you for watching 🙌😀
@@ThePassportCouple 😄
That’s caramelised dark soy sauce and not vinegar. That’s why you have the sweet aftertaste 😊
Ah, thank you, that makes sense. It was delicious 👏

Ramly burger just a brand. Not all burger stall sell Ramly burger. Some sell their homemade burger patty. Malaysian burger different from western burger because they use chilli sauce and barbeque sauce.
Thanks for sharing 🙌 And it is definitely different from a western style burger, but we LOVED it 😀
Ramly Burger taste so yummy..!!!
3:54 THANK YOU FOR TRYING BAK KUT TEH 🥰🥰🥰
even i as a local dont put that much chili on my rice
in malaysia be sure to put the chili moderately
cuz each shops spicy levels differ from one to another
try a small amount first and u can add up as you go on
Excellent tip, this is what we will do from now on. Thank you so much 🙌
Malaysia food rock 🤘
It's incredible 👏
Alhamdulillah...malaysian have more love then their gov..😂❤
Ramly made not only beef and chicken but also goat, rabbit, ostrich, deer etc
Wow, we had no idea. Thanks for sharing 🙌
KL Hokkien Mee with pork lard is just heaven!!
U should only put thr chilli bit by bit. We normally dip the roast pork in the chilli.
These are great tips we will use moving forward. Thank you 🙌
Welcome to Malaysia, have a good day 👍🏼👏😃
All the dishes and food on this vlog are the usual go to foods that the locals go for when there's a craving for them. Its sort of a comfort food to sooth the soul after a hard days work.😂😊
Not bad. Burgers are sold at night(ramly). Yes "wong mei ke" is best for bbq pork
Enjoy your stay here guys. Make yourself at home. Take care. Bye. 👍
I've got shock to see that u can finish sambal from nasi lemak
Good job guy's
Why? Malaysian food isn't spicy.
@@byteme9718 huh? Come to n9 and u know it’s spicy or not
@@ariffazizan8510 Again, Malaysia food isn't spicy.
right spot to eat burger, one of the best burger stall in kl pj enjoy
It was amazing, we will definitely be back 👏
13:46 A Ramly Burger at Brader John Burger Damansara Uptown? Awesome choice!
GPS Coordinates: 3.13713N, 101.62134E
you know how to eat , enjoy here
U both r so adventurous in trying asian food. Thank you for liking Msian food. Have fun dining. Respect~
Next time you guys can try the Beef one. Really delicious 😋 ❤
We always love a good reason to return to KL 😀✈️🇲🇾
I love that you washed your chopstick with the hot water😅 superrrr local activity
Try night market Pasar malam in KL food street, very cheap & so delicious
We will have to try that, thank you so much for the recommendation 🙌
@@ThePassportCouple Sunday 4pm until 9pm at MRT station TTDI got pasar malam, got viral in tik tok
I'm impressed with your food places choices.. clearly you've done your homework.. they're spot on for all tourist visiting KL.. 👏👍
Village park is a chinese version of nasi lemak,
you should also try Malay, Mamak & Indonesian version of nasi lemak.😋😋😋
Nasi lemak is not oily rice
Not even fatty rice as some people called it (no fat is used)
It is rich & creamy rice/coconut rice
Normally rice is cook with just water but nasi lemak is cooked with coconut milk hence it is rich & creamy
I get so mad at people translating lemak as fat when they translate nasi lemak. Lemak is also used as an adjective to describe creaminess. Nasi lemak should be translated as creamy rice, not fatty rice.
WELCOME TO MALAYSIA
Hallo my friend from Malaysia RUclipsr
Wow very nise food in Malaysia 🇲🇾👍👍👍
The Burger chef give it free to you in front of customers who paid fo it😂 But don't worry about that, you know why?because Malaysian are feeling so proud of their food when foreigner try their food, so don't surprise when you got a free meal when visiting Malaysia ❤😁
yay!!! you finally went to Village Park. Next time you try Nasi lemak with beef rendang. It's my fave dish there :)
its lemon grass that u taste on the fried chicken not lime...looks so good!!
Ramly burger looks really delicious 👍👍
so yummy
Honouring a guest is both part of being Malaysian and an important teaching of Islam. Kindness to strangers and those less fortunate is so ingrained here we chuckle a bit at how shocked people are…kinda should be the norm everywhere really.
Normally only locals mix all the nasi lemak components and you did that. 😊
"You're sleepy Barbie" 😅
It was delicious mixed together, which was why we were happy to eat two 😀 And she is totally Sleepy Barbie, but she loves it 👏
There’s no right or wrong way to eat it. It’s all good. I prefer not to mix it up. Instead when I eat and I feel like I want a little crunch, I add peanut to my rice. Something a little spicy or sweet? Add sambal to the spoon. Things getting a bit heavy? Take a bite of the cucumber for freshness. Then you start adding rice + 2-3 other toppings on the spoon for even more complex flavours. So every mouthful taste different but always with that dreamy rice backing, from one plate.
2:53 the chili sauce is for dipping the meat, not for the rice.
Lots of ramlee's burger stalls around Malaysia mostly in KL..U can easily can get it..not only that stall
Hi im the man u see at putrajay a when u want to go back from putrajaya at national day.. u come back to malaysia
Hi again, and yes, we can’t wait to come back again 🇲🇾💛
Hope u will come back Malaysia again
we eat nasi lemak not by blending altogether like tht bcoz sambal might be spicy, instead rice+dishes + a bit of sambal Then eat so we ctr the amt of spiciness.
just to inform you guys.. please accept when people say its on house.. because malaysian really kind and want do something good for others.. we as malaysian love to see happy face of people we treats.. this is malaysian hospitality.. hope you enjoy your vacation here guys ❤
Top wol beger ramli jalanan😊😊😊...
very nice for video 🤗
Thank you so much 😊
The chilli sauce is for the roast pork.
👍👍👍💝🎉🇲🇾💪
Any RUclipsrs who can find Wong Mei Kee, beat the queue and still managed to get an order of siew yuk before they ran out of it, is a champion by my books.
That is the ultimate compliment thank you 😀
✌️😁🇲🇾🇺🇸
Thank you so much 😀
@@ThePassportCouple you welcom sir have a nice day✌️😁🇲🇾🇺🇸
Do you know that, American initially century ago imported breed of chickens from South East Asia, since American chickens were inferior at that time 😊
We had no idea, that is fascinating. Thanks for sharing 🙌
@@ThePassportCouple And the more fascinating, the Malays are the first people stepping into northern America in year 800, via the Russia-Alaska route. That is why the aborigines of America you see in history, are not whites. Hawaii also, some words used in Hawaii are of Malay words 😁

@@ThePassportCouple Sunday try travel take train MRT go to bandar utama shopping mall One Utama & evening go to TTDI (Taman Tun Doctor Ismail) got very nice pasar malam (night market street food) also delicious recommended restaurant to taste & I bet you gonna love it so much
Hi there. Village Park nasi lemak is among the best in the Klang Valley and one of the reasons is that their spiced chicken is crispy on the outside but juicy and soft on the inside - achieved by marinating then flash frying which is common in Asian cooking. That "citrussy" flavour of the chicken is probably lemongrass you're tasting. You will find this signature flavour in the taste profiles of many Malaysian dishes.
As for the Ramly burger, its become a Malaysian institution in of itself 😀. However it's not because of mistrust of western burger chains' halal status. Malaysia has a trusted halal certification process which confers very publicly trusted credentials which all the major restaurant brands have. I would say Ramly burgers are popular because they are much more affordable.
new subscriber !
Yay, thank you 🥳
As a Malaysian living Texas now, Burger Ramly just tastes like a cheap breakfast burger that I can find at Walmart
No more than 70% meat content in Ramly patties. They're vile hence being smothered with sauces. They leave you feeling dirty after eating them.
Did u try the ranking no 1 roti in the world roti canai
Theres a spot there where you can see the sunset better
Good research job, you guys went to all the above average places 👍
Thank you so much 😀
An 'old school' Ramly Burger were only filled with patty, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, mayonnaise and chilli sauce.
That's the original Ramly Burger....and it spread like wildfire more than a decade ago.
Can always try to ask if can order less spicy or less sweet. And dont put so mich chilli or sambal at once. Bit by bit.
This is a great tip, thank you for sharing 🙌
Village park is not in kl though
Brader is actual called brother so we pronounce as bruh-the or bra-der(the) in mostly Malaysia and singapore.
Urmmm. Actually Ramly also makes Buffalo patties, which are my favorite
Oooh, sign us up 🍔😅
👍👍👍👍👍
The black sauce is not black vinegar. Its dark soya sauce. FYI, dark soya sauce taste sweet.
Ah, thank you for letting us know 🙌
Nice Burger guys
So nice, we were so grateful 😀
the rumly burger you should try the beef.
Beef Ramly Burger are the best!!!
The fast food here is halal. No doubt about it. The owner of ramly just wanted quality patty to make burgers back in the 1980s. Not because people do not trust fastfood chains here.
Brader John = Brother John , Malaysian spelling of brother 😁
Hai im from Indonesian ❤❤
you can try various Fried Rice or 'Nasi Goreng' - 'nasi' is rice, 'goreng' is fried...
nasi goreng ayam
nasi goreng pattaya
nasi goreng kampung
nasi goreng mamak
nasi goreng cina
nasi goreng USA beef
nasi goreng USA seafood
nasi goreng sosej
nasi goreng filipino
nasi goreng hailam
nasi goreng ayam kunyit
nasi goteng ikan masin
nasi goreng kerabu (vegan)
nasi goreng arab
nssi goreng black pepper
nasi goreng belacan
nasi goreng hainan
nasi goreng blaa blaaa blaaa too many nasi goreng for a month rotation... plus some time strangers paid for your meals. there are angels here.
Not even the locals can eat the green chilli like the way you guys did, this type of green chilli is super spicy
Not really. Malaysians would break down in tears if they tried many of the foods westerners eat.
尝过这些美食后,你不会离开吉隆坡,这是香港人的说法,他们几乎尝遍了吉隆坡的所有美食,尽管那里也有非常美味的美食,但这里的食物和外国人的热情招待就是如此吸引人
you will not leave KL after having tasted all these foods, that's the saying of the Hongkongers who have eaten almost every food on offer, despite the very good gourmet there too, that's how attractive the food here and the overtures from foreigners
You don't eat hokkien mee with bird's eye chilli(chilli padi), it is not compatible. The chilli paste(belacan) is the correct add on, it makes the hokkien mee more delicious. I normally would eat half of plate of hokkien mee without belacan and balance I would mix belacan into the noodles. It will bring the taste to a next level.
Mr and Mrs, Is everything alright?
Hai guys...welcome to Malaysia..for your info MC DONALD in Malaysia is HALAL..same for KFC..BURGER KING..you can see every store they must show the HALAL certificated ..
U can get the meat
from supermarket n bring back home..
Most importantly, I don't want any sauce in my Ramly burger!
No sauce? We will have to try that too 😀
You are very tall..
In malaysia, we don't eat rice with fork. We use our hand.
Usually ONLY the Malaysian Muslims use their hands to eat. Malaysian Chinese n Indians n other non-Muslim ethnicities use fork n spoon or chopsticks (for noodles etc).
@@dalaxdercrisper957 Read the original comment with your eyes wide open: "Usually ONLY the Malaysian Muslims use their hands to eat. Malaysian Chinese n Indians n other non-Muslim ethnicities use fork n spoon or chopsticks (for noodles etc)." Where is it mentioned "eat rice" in the comment? Yawn...
Eating with hands is unclean.
🍔🍔🍔
welcome to malaysia 🎉❤
Siew Yuk is pronounced Siew Yoke
Beef ramly burger is the way... chicken just so so..😂
Low grade, low meat content and none of the beef complies with basic international hygiene standards.
Lol do not eat bah kut teh with dark thick soy sauce dipping. Use light soy sauce.
If any vendor just give you free food or someone paying for you, take it, say thanks and leave, do not pay, in fact paying is insulting/offending (because it means you reject their good will/intention/gesture). I know you're not used to it, but next time just go with the flow, it's a culture here. 😁
We were, and are, so grateful for the gesture, but you are right, it is not something we are used to, but will work on. Love Malaysia 🇲🇾💛
@@ThePassportCouple In Malaysia vendor could just give for free and people could pay for someone just because they feel like it, not only to tourists but to locals as well espcially to children, students, travellers, old folks and disabled people. Most of time they love to remain mystery, when you want to pay at the counter the cashier said "already paid" and either refuse to tell you the mystery person who paid it or the person already left 😁
Never eat hokkien mee snd curry mee with a white shirt.
Siew and Yuk = York.
U need to eat rice with spoon not fork😂
