The salon I go isnt really asmr but it’s close enough, massage chair , get head masages , fresh herbal tea , and no shorter then 45 minutes I just love it. It’s in The Netherlands, and they use all natural ingredients

30:26 this part of the video is what asmr is to me. The relaxing sounds that you hear between being awake and asleep, and it’s so comforting knowing someone is there still so I fade back out to the gentle sounds and company. Reminds me of naps on the couch while a family member rummages or cleans/cooks.

Actually, i am very curious what this head is, because it doesnt look like a wig. It looks like natural hair coming from a silicone head of sorts. The positioning and texture if the white hair looks exactly like natural greys. Sorry, i am amazed and mega curious

Hm, maybe it’s a head used for cosmetology practice? A lot of my family members are in that industry and I’m trying to remember if the heads have rooted hair or wigs. Like ten years ago they were throwing out a bunch of used ones of these at the salon my grandmother owned, so now my mom and I have them as Halloween decorations that we Throw in a “graveyard,” lol, but their hair is so matted after all this time I can’t think of the scalp … I think the hair is rooted for professional mannequin heads for ppl in cosmetology but I could be wrong :)
You can make wigs with any colour, texture, leng etc. It's amazing!

Loving this video, and it made me think...
When I was younger, I used to have a really dry and itchy scalp. My mom would buy these "scalp tonics" in plastic bottles that had a long lid resembling a dropper or almost like a syringe head for easy application. She would gently brush my hair, parting it slowly bit by bit, and applying the tonic to my scalp in the parted lines. In between she'd massage my scalp a little bit to ensure that the tonic got everywhere.
It felt *amazing*, the refreshing, cooling sensation when the cool liquid touched my warm scalp, instantly relieving the itchiness, the plastic applicator scratching the scalp gently... 🤤 And, let's face it, who doesn't love a good hair brushing and scalp massage anyway?! 👀
I know, I know, it sounds a lot like this video (even though I personally can't get enough of this scalp/hair ASMR), but oh, how dreamy it would feel to experience this once again even in just video form. I don't know how badly it would mess up or ruin the mannequin head, but still, I had to share this idea sparked by a very happy memory. This hypothetical video could have everything: plastic bottles for tapping, liquid sounds, the little air puffs while squeezing the stuff into scalp, hair brushing, scalp massage, lotion like sounds on skin when massaging the tonic deeper into scalp, whispers/soft speech, personal attention...
By the way, I also wanted to say that you are the queen of ASMR to me, and have always been. Your videos are always top notch, no matter what they are. Thank you, Maria. Much love to you and your family from Finland! ❤️

This is the best hair scratching/massage video I've even seen for asmr. All the angles, the realistic mannequin hair, hair pulling and bringing to different sides and tapping on the other side of the neck or nape of the neck, rubbing the temples but you fully immerse yourself in the expericene which makes it feel so authentic/different from others. You are a relaxation queen

Maybe it’s because you were one of the first ASMRtists I started watching back in 2012-2013 ( correct me if I’m wrong, but the word “ASMR” wasn’t even a word at that point)
I miss that time, cause the community was small and we talked to each other more as a group and so many of us got to know each other more “personal”…
I love all your videos and some of them are more in my “category” or preference (the soft spoken ones and where you do fx clothes folding and show these soft and slow hand/finger movements…. Makes me so relaxed and helps me sleep - every time.
But somehow, the old videos from “back then” are the ones I watch over and over.. they just trigger me more…

Soft whispering is a hit or miss for me. I don’t know why but some soft whisper audios end up giving me headaches and it always sucks because I’ll get like a tingle or two before I have to change the video immediately.
