This made me realize why the old SFM models feel different from the normal animatronics. Almost everything is different, the colours, bottom jaw, top of the head, endo skeleton, eyebrows, bowtie and HELL EVEN THE TOPHAT is different. I love the old models for nostalgia but damn it looks like they were made from memory.
In my opinion I prefer the old models while yes the new ones are better there is something about them being so off model and inaccurate that added to those more comedic fnaf animations and in my opinion made them more funny, that's why I don't like these new comedic sfms all that much the models being super accurate to the games makes that line between comedic animations and more scary ones blur more and more and kinda makes it hard to see these characters as scary.

New fans may laugh at these models now, but they gotta remember, Scott never released the models until very recently, so modelers had to make the models based off of the screenshots from the game. Which is easier said than done when everything’s dark and grainy through the security footage. Also, great job on replicating that old FNaF SFM vibe.
Differences with the old models compared to the current ones: 1. Freddy’s old model doesn’t have the belly shape. 2. All old models are a lot lighter than their current ones. 3. Old models look more smooth and cleaner. 4. Old models are a lot lighter than the current ones. 5. Eyes on old models have a noticeable glow when looked at from a distance. 6. Freddy’s bow tie on his old model is a little lighter. 7. Old models are a little more shorter than the current ones.
I haven’t watched fnaf sfm stuff since the golden days of fnaf but damn those new models look really really good. Though whoever designed those older models must have been super talented to be able to re create the characters from the game from the ground up.
