  • Here's a morning view from our room balcony. This is a chilled fly-on-the-wall video showing what's going on around the pool area and clubhouse on a laid back warm day. The golf course was closed for maintenance and you can tell by the lack of people present and the calming quiet.

Sit back, listen to the birds and imagine you are on this balcony taking in the sights and sounds. Enjoy...

Let me know if you've stayed at the Caleia Mar Menor Golf Resort & Spa and what you thought of it. If you stayed here when it was the Intercontinental Hotel, let me know what you thought too. Thanks for watching.

Love your videos Matt, interesting content just relocating back from living in Dubai, and came across your content at Mar Menor… which is where I’m looking to buy a holiday home.
Videos look brilliant. Was this the last time you visited the golf course? Amenities look one of the better ones in the region!

Hi Paul, so sorry for the delay in replying. Mar Menor is lovely and I've been going there for about 20 years or so. Do your research and you'll find something wonderful. If you play golf you will be spoilt for choice so definitely check out the Mar Menor Golf Resort (originally a Polaris World development back in the day). I have a video coming soon that was taken there a while back before Covid hit. How did you like Dubai? I lived there for 10 years and loved every minute! Thanks so much for having a look at my channel, much appreciated.

Sorry Paul, I forgot to say that The Mar Menor Golf Resort, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. I don't play golf but love this resort for what it has to offer. The hotel used to be an Intercontinental but that changed not too long ago to the Caleia Mar Menor (one of the hotels owned by Senator Hotels and Resorts). There have been some changes but it's essentially the same as before. The rooms are corporate nice and the restaurants are above average; we're not talking Buddha Bar but still good nonetheless.
