The before image looks like a photo that I would delete off my camera without thinking twice. The after image looks like something I would print a 30" by 40" of and hang on my wall without thinking twice. Goes to show the power of editing an image.
Haha! I think it also takes practice and experience to notice that there's a gem hidden in some photos you take after the edit :)
Yeah. Some of my favorite photos are those that I liked the least in-camera, but as soon as I brought them over to my computer and started cropping them a little and messing with the light and color, I fell in love. I know it's a pretty controversial topic, but in my opinion, while it is hands down absolutely necessary to have a solid foundation to build off of, the post processing of a photo is nearly just as important as the subject matter.
I completely agree! For me photography is 50/50 the shooting and editing. As a creative you have to edit your photos to convey the message you want to give and show the world how you want the world to be seen.
Demas Rusli 👌
Very good tutorial! I learnt a lot! Maybe a tutoriel on street/urban photography how to shoot it and edit it?
Thank youu! Ooh good idea, I will add that to my list 😀

Great video..

Thankss! So close to being the 2000th!
You couldn't of timed it better. I shot a few of these recently in Shibuya and thought I was doing something wrong when I could get it like this in camera.
Can't wait to apply this to my images.
Thank you very much
for sharing :)
Thanks so much mate! Glad I could help!
Panning in night is a very hard thing to master...
The first time i tried it, i had done around 540 shots in 3 nights and only 15-20 of them were perfect. So yeah, it demands patience.
Yes I agree! Patience and practice is how you can get better at it :)
LETS F***ING GO DEMAS! keep killin it, I'm excited for the future of your channel
Thanks so much!
This tutorial was the BEST!
I can not wait for your next videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Awesome tutorial Demas! Just one question, how do you focus?
Thank you mate! For this I was using auto focus and focusing on the centre :) I half press the shutter (to focus) when I am about to shoot the tram and then press it as it moves past (while moving). Hope this helps!
Nice tut man 👍 !!
Thanks dude!
Nice tutorial bro.. good job Luciana
Thanks man! Can you do my b-roll for my next vid please? Haha
Great tutorial can’t wait to see more and better my skills
Thank you mate! More coming soon!
Demas that video is awesome your content is excellent and given what you’ve displayed on Instagram I’m sure your channel will quickly become one of the most informative and creative on RUclips. However one advice to keep attention of your viewers: go slower. You’re a photoshop expert so your pace might seems ok but I can tell you it’s way too fast. You lost me at the right beginning of the photoshop edit and I’m not a complete beginner. I think it’s ok to have the same content explained over 10-12 minutes instead of 6. Just my two cents. Keep them coming in any case you have a new subscriber !
Thank you mate! Thanks for the feedback too :) I will work on it in future videos! I was thinking that if I could make a more concise and bite sized video it would make it easier for people, and that if they need to pause on a step they could too.. But I understand what you're saying, thanks for the tip!
Awesome editing tutorial bro! Good to learn from God himself
Youre a legend man! Keep killing it dude!
Liked to push you! awesome tut! you covered everything from a-z in under 7 mins without bullsh*t :D love your yt-content!
Thanks so much!
Nice work man, beautiful shot and great explanation. Just a suggestion, you probably know it, although a bit less individual opacity control, but I sometimes use the path blur for this. In this case you could draw perspective lines above, over and under the tram to get the warp effect under 1 layer. Make it a smart object for changes later on. Great re-edit afterwards in LR!
Thanks dude! Oh wow I didn't even think to use the Path Blur tool for this! I knew about it but haven't played around much with it, will have a play with it now! Thanks for the tip!
@@demasrusli 😎🤘
i tried to hold X on my keyboard to toggle between the background. But nothing else happen
It should be a default shortcut on Photoshop, just tap X and it should toggle between foreground and background colours :)
Can you sent source file
how do you make the animated building loops? I've seen that on your IG
Will make a tutorial for that in the future for sure! Stay tuned!
Do we have to hold still the camera while taking the picture or we have to move the camera in the direction of the subject ?
You move the camera along with the subject :)
Hey, nice tutorial. Keep em coming. Thank you man!
Thanks so much! More coming soon!
This tutorial is superb bro! Love it! Thanks...
Thanks so much!
how did you move from lightroom and photoshop like thatt?
Lightroom and Photoshop are connected. So if you right click the photo and select "Edit In Photoshop" it will open up Photoshop automatically. When you click save, the new image you created will jump back into Lightroom as a new TIF file :)
Very Helpful! Can’t wait for more tips
Thank you Paul! More coming soon!
This is great stuff! Thanks for the reply in insta!
Thanks so much! Anytime mate :)
Demas your tutorials are always so sick and easy to follow, love the way you work man. Quick question, I'm not sure if it is a me issue or common, when I click save and close my image doesn't go back to Lightroom, any idea why?
Massive help, Thank you Demas
Thank you! Glad I can help :)

Make on how to shoot silhouette. Thanks and more power
What do you mean by shooting a silhouette? Do you mean how to pose a figure? Because shooting a silhouette is just shooting a person that is lit up from behind them :)
Thank you for the information.

So sickkk
Thank youu!
Super concise and useful bro! Thank you for the vid :)
Thanks so much!
Why are you suffering with panning. just freeze the photo and then work in photoshop)))
Then you won't get the wheel's in motion, getting at least a bit of a pan/blur is always best
Awesome tutorial dude, can’t wait to watch more!
Thanks so much! More coming soon!
