I did my circles your way but I’m using a memory foam bolster,so I needed to be able to take the pillow out so I could wash the cover. So I worked my tube to a reasonable length then made a flap, then continued until it was time to attach the second circle. I’m 62 and have been crocheting since I was eight, when I taught myself to crochet. 🙂🌈🐈🐈⬛💖
Love this so much ❤❤ I made two, one for an elderly man and myself. He leaves his at church to use. I’m leaving mine there too. I’m making a 3rd one to use at home.
Hi there r I’m a beginner and find buying and understanding yarn weights and types hard to fathom I’m in the uk could you tell me what I need to google to get the right yarn . Thank you
Great instructions - finished mine - it turned out fantastic! Would love to post picture of mine for you to see but it’s not possible... Goes great with matching afghan...
Hi Myriam, I'm not sure what you mean by the White stitch. Is it the part I do in the cream colour? I detail it in the tutorial. If it's something different let me know and I'll try and help you out.
@@myriamgomez7862 The tutorial is the video you are commenting on. If it doesn't play, try clicking the link here: ruclips.net/video/GC_Owrj5ZTU/видео.html. It's working on my end so I'm not sure what's happening if it's not on yours. Good luck!
Hi Rose, I stuffed mine with an old mattress pad so I can throw the whole thing in the wash but make sure it's on gentle cycle. Otherwise, instead of sewing up the top end, you may want to consider sewing in a sipper so you can remove the cover. I would still wash it on gentle and let air dry. Hope that helps.
To take the cover off, you would have to carfeully un-seam the end that you sewed on and then sew it back in place once it's been washed. Since I used an old cotton mattress pad to stuff mine, I could put the whole thing in the wash, without having to do that. Hope that helps!
Hi Jennifer! I am working on writing this pattern currently but I will let you know once I have it completed. Glad you enjoyed this video:) Sincerely, Karen
Hi Jennifer! I finally have the written pattern available for this project. You can find it here: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/954459398/easy-crochet-lumbar-pillow-pattern?ref=shop_home_active_1 Have fun!:) -K
Excellent question! I purposely do not place the increases on top of each other because as your circle gets larger, it starts to have points when you place them on top of one another. By not doing that, it helps to keep your circle shape smooth and rounded. 👍
Glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I try to make sure that the explanations are clear - especially for those that like a little repetition. Happy New year:)
I think it is very well explained and will help all crocheters experienced or not! I can't wait to start. I have been crocheting for 53 years😲
Oh how lovely of you to say. thank you so much.vHave fun working on your pillow!

Awesome idea recycling the mattress pad! What a waste to throw it out. I agree it would make a nice firm bolster😍

Did you do spiral on the body or slip stitch?
Hi there. I did Spiral round on the body.
Did you also use 2 strands of white in the solid part? I want to be sure to have enough yarn.
HI Linda, Yes I continued using 2 strands held together for that part as well.
the cream-colored stitch is in tunisian??
No these stitches were just regular crochet stitches.
Could u please do a cat cute long pilow?
Hi Leticia, Do you mean with a cat face on the ends or on the whole thing?
how many yards of yarn would you see this took?
Hi Abbi, I would say 300 yards would be good? Hope that helps. Let me know how things turn out or if you have any other questions. 👍
