Try to use as little as needed for your own sake, because toilet paper isn't enough to clog a whole system, but it will clog your cabin's discharge pipe. Making it so you'll have to call for a plumber. In case you ever find yourself doubting on whether or not you should flush due to the amount of toilet paper used, open your shower and turn it as hot as you can, until steam starts coming out and direct the shower head to the toilet as to fill it with hot burning water. This will be enough to break the toilet paper down so that once you flush it won't clog your line. Feel free to ask any other question!
Cruise ships are a very rare case of regulation and punishing corporations actually making a huge difference. Cruise ships used to dump all their untreated sewage and trash into the ocean over international waters, but now they bring all their trash back to port, and the water they dump is actually cleaner than government drinking water standards when it’s dumped. Governments have fined them so much that they actually figured it was cheaper to retrofit older ships and fit new ships with these treatment plants. Really cool engineering and a cool example of environmental regulation actually accomplishing something
The main reason is that, students aren't really interested in going to school and probably prefers visuals. Just imagine this guy is telling the same content with just empty white space with texts and narration. That wouldn't be your opinion then.
You always know what to upload on RUclips just letting us know facts that is really interesting and you are so creative and i love youuu!!!❤Keep the work we support you❤❤❤
Fun fact, it wasn't always like this. At the golden times of oceanic travel, when steam ships dominated the waters, racing for the titles of the biggest and the fastest, ships like the classy Titanic and many more like itself used to literally dump out all the waste collected from passangers, and that would go on untill around 1970's, when people changed their views of the oceans as an "Unlimited resource, which cannot be polluted".
If anyone extrapolated the question: -Planes dump water, but solids are kept for cleaning after the plane lands. No poop bombardment luckily -Space stations dump wastes on throwaway spacecraft modules that burn in the atmosphere, even though some still crash in the surface or sea.
"So thorough that it can be dumped in the ocean" is not at all saying much. The standards to be able to just dump it are so incredibly low. It is not some fresh water. It is very much still dirty.
I hate to break it to you, but all water is cycled water. You have probably drank woolly mammoth pee before, just God filtered through the natural cycles.
This is what they SHOULD do. That isn’t often what they ACTUALLY do. The number of cruise ships and companies that own them that get sued and fined for illegal dumping is FAR greater than the number of ships that release this “clean water” this video speaks of.

But in case something this bad happens, the rating will do all the dirty jobs. If he's lucky then his 3rd engineer will buy him a Frappuccino from Starbucks.
You can throw toilet paper inside the toilet, just not much of it.

When a cruise ship has more toilets than lifeboats 💀

Lol
???
Well... Did a toilet can be use up to 6 people at the same time
You could say that, at least they made the cruise ship to give a sh**

Fish: Why’s my home smells like shit?
They would be trying to eat it.
They have to clean the water to a acceptable rate decided by separate organisations before they can release the water into the ocean

That one fish that just took a shit in the ocean 😏
Now just hearing this I regret drinking the sea water at the beach when I was a kid
I'm just glad that the fish in the water don't have to suffer from the waste.
Bot
🙄🤦♂️
@@cursedrandomdudehe isnt a bot lmao
@@cursedrandomdudeim more convinced that people who say bot to people are bots themselves
They have another waste to suffer from
Fun fact, it wasn't always like this.
Cool fact!
You were the question I was wondering. Thanks! 🎉
Disgusting fact
@@guy4iy4erui70 Wow you're soft
What it's true is seen to be true
If anyone extrapolated the question:
-Planes dump water, but solids are kept for cleaning after the plane lands. No poop bombardment luckily
-Space stations dump wastes on throwaway spacecraft modules that burn in the atmosphere, even though some still crash in the surface or sea.
I love spreading misinformation on the internet
@@philiam0420 ?
I dont think planes dump liquid mid flight
"So thorough that it can be dumped in the ocean" is not at all saying much. The standards to be able to just dump it are so incredibly low. It is not some fresh water. It is very much still dirty.
Google is jealous of this guy 💀💀
I thought the poop was gonna turn into drinking water ngl

I hate to break it to you, but all water is cycled water. You have probably drank woolly mammoth pee before, just God filtered through the natural cycles.
I think Zach forgot to label the cruise 💀
That is an excellent idea. That’s what saves the waves in the ocean from cruise ships. They should do that on all cruise ships seriously they should.
We’re talking about sewage here bro.. not waves… mmkay?

In Singapore. LOL. You must live near a natural spring or something. Lucky you
Same in space stations.
Enough filtering and anything is safe.
teachers when they teach: BORING
Zack when he teaches: im interested!
Wait so you're telling me the average person takes a 10 gallon dump every day. I'm impressed
Shower, washing hands.
He said UP TO 30,000 gallons, not on average
This is what they SHOULD do. That isn’t often what they ACTUALLY do. The number of cruise ships and companies that own them that get sued and fined for illegal dumping is FAR greater than the number of ships that release this “clean water” this video speaks of.
The fact that I got this video while I'm on a cruise ship 😂
Well, I mean, the weight on the ship never changes, so couldn't they just dump it at the end?
yeah, but it'd pile up and stink for all the passengers i bet
