I'm not sure he will be able to. All our hospitals are patient only. Not sure on deliveries. Pediatric admissions i think can have a parent with them.
He could be there, even with a c-cection
My hospital is only allowing the person to be there when I’m 10 cmm. That person will witness the birth and bond with the baby and leave after. No one in the recovery room with me. TBH in my situation, I don’t want anyone with me not even my husband. I’m seeing it as a mini vacation from my family. Sounds mean, but in the beginning of this pandemic I had major anxiety of being alone in the delivery but now. I don’t want NO ONE! this is my 3rd full term pregnancy. So it’s not like it’s our first baby.
@@cathifamjourney469 You can have one person present at bedside with PPE on. The only visitor has to be only one at bedside. My son gets pediatric surgeries here in New York near Canada.
My hospital is only allowing the spouse to be there during the delivery and after but if he decides to leave for work or if he wants to order take out food and pick it up he won’t be allowed back into the room with the baby & I

I just had my baby a couple weeks ago and it was the scariest thing having to have a planned c section because of my complications so trust me when I say I know EXACTLY how you feel... but having the support my doctor and the nurses gave me was so comforting in this horrible time. I pray that everything goes good for you and Dhar and of course your baby girl. Your guys health is all that matters right now and you are not alone in this difficult time. Prayers and good vibes to you three so everything goes good!

My granddaughter is 2 weeks old and being a first time grandma and my daughter a first time mother you can only imagine everything that went through our heads. I missed my granddaughters birth because they only allow one more person in the room. But I love my daughter and granddaughter. This pandemic is very hard on everyone 😢 my daughter was high risk as well ❤ my heart goes out to you. I will be praying for you girls 😘
I was on the same boat as you my daughter just had a baby a week ago her first baby my first granddaughter and I was not able to be there for her. Only one person was able to be with her. I was so sad when I had to leave the hospital because I was looking so much forward for that experience. and like you said and mentioned this was so stressful a month before just thinking of what was going to happen... with all this virus going on 😕
@@claudiacortez6676 yes it's so heartbreaking. We were able to FaceTime the whole time and to hear my daughter say I can't do this mom just broke my heart. I called her and told her yes you can am with you 😭 did you meet your grandbaby yet?

Same thing happened to my brother in law. I feel bad this is happening during their first pregnancy.
My daughter was due April 7 2020 and had to have a emergency c-section on March 11 because she had preeclampsia. And stayed in the hospital for a week cuz of her high blood pressure. But I was happy she had her early cuz this is all scary. I hope u have baby Ella Rose (Rose is also my daughter, granddaughters and my middle name) when things are safer. It is a scary time right now. My prayers are with you and your family 🙏🏼🙏🏼.
And I’m in California and she is in Texas.

We are living in such hard times right now but God will align things for you to ensure Baby Ella is delivered safe and healthy. He will make ways for you both . Dhar will be able to be there and experience the birth of his beautiful daughter . Nothing will come in between you both getting to enjoy this journey together. Thank God for Doctors and their guidance but when they say “risk” always remember God is saying to you “I am with you” he will protect you from all risks. I cried when Laura cried, and suddenly I realised the pain my mom had while giving birth to me, 15 years ago, My mom gave birth to me as a single mom and only God was with her. Omg! I remember that pain & pressure with my last baby feeling like she’d fall out. Sooo painful!! I’m so sorry this is going on & you’re definitely not a cry baby. You’re pregnant & scared hun! I cried every day over the smallest things. I was emotional with all my pregnancies, but with my daughter - which was my last pregnancy after 3 boys - EVERYTHING made me cry! And I mean everything! Straight up ugly cry too! 🤦🏼♀️😂😂 Must be the the extra estrogen? Another thing is that nobody should have to deliver alone & no dad should have to miss the birth of his baby! I am praying that everything goes the way you want & you have a happy, healthy birth with Dhar right there beside you! You two are going to make amazing parents since you’re both genuinely good-hearted people! Advice for you: if you can’t breastfeed, DON’T beat yourself up please!! My daughter was doing great breastfeeding & she fell asleep like always feeding, then the next day she would scream if I tried to feed her. It broke my heart! I’m still having a hard time with it tbh & it was like, 4 months ago!? So I’m trying to take my own advice, but she’s my last baby. Idk if you have your own delivery gown or not, but I got a cute one so I didn’t have to wear the hospital one. I also got a matching set for my daughter’s hospital pics with a bunny swaddle blanket & a bow for her hair & pjs for me with the same bunny pattern bottoms & the top said “Snuggle Bunny” (bonus it was also a nursing top!). Idk if/how often you read the comments, but if there’s anything you need & didn’t get, I would LOVE to get you guys something! I couldn’t begin to tell you how many of Dhar’s videos helped me get through some very hard times & resonated with me. They even helped me show my older boys how thankful they should be for the things they have by showing them some of the videos. So I would love to be able to give something back in return. Come have your baby is Tx to have your baby, your spouse can be in the OR if you have to have a C section. My brother was able to be in the OR room when he had my niece a few weeks ago. she had a emergency c-section.
I feel you that's what they told me too that I have to go alone by now and he only got to see one ultrasound of our baby ( the first one) and well from now on he wont be able to see or be there with me. And hoping for this to end soon. I'm due on October 29 but I'm still scare that this will still be here and I will deliver alone for the first time. I really wish God for this to end soon. I want to be able to see my baby and not get sick from this. Laura I know you can do it be strong. I know that once you hold your baby girl in your hands you'll be the happiest mom ever! Maybe once you're there delivering try do a facetime with Dhar for support. ❤💞💞💞💞❤❤❤❤
Mizzy Aguilera that’s how I am we have only got to see our baby once and he didn’t get to go due to work and now I go for my 20 weeks in a few weeks and he can’t even go breaks my heart this is our first girl I’m due October 5th so I hope all is passed by then ! Plus this is our little rainbow baby 😭

Laura-you are WAAAYYYY stronger than you think you are. You are going to get thru this delivery perfectly. Your body will do what needs to be done. Things my nurses said to me that helped while I was in labor: Just remember to breathe. Your body can do this. Don’t let your mind tell you that you can’t because YOU CAN! You got this Laura!

I cried hearing your story. I cannot imagine not having my husband with me during labor. I hope and pray you have a natural birth so that Dhar could be with you. It’s the most exciting time of your lives but with everything going on it’s taking away from it but the important thing is you guys are healthy, happy and safe. No matter what happens, everything will turn out like it’s suppose to. When you were going through your questions, I just knew the thing you love most was feeling Ella move. It’s sad that I won’t be able to feel that anymore. I totally felt you when you said that you guys were scared not hearing ellas heartbeat at first. I’ve experienced that with my last pregnancy and it’s so scary. I pray for you guys to have a safe and healthy delivery. I also pray for your aunt to recover completely from this virus.
