2:15 „You will need water dash for this area. There‘s no way to get past these spikes if you don‘t.“
I did it with regular dash. There‘s this plant-like enemy at the bottom that shoots these green projectiles at you. You can use these to get up there. It‘s just really hard to get out of the pit you entered at 2:29 without water dash, but even that is possible at least.

@@Craypril Swim Dash is acquired from an ancestral tree in Luma Pools. It‘s required to beat the game afaik, so you can just do a little backtracking when you obtained swim dash in your casual playthrough.
I am currently stuck in the pool because I went here first and don't have nearly any abilities. How do I get out? Do I have to warp?
11:45 A swim dash and the Triple Jump shard can also be used to get it.

For the Orb on 11:50, you need to start on the left side, and then water dash up and curve yourself to the right (Remember to hold the dash key for as long as you can to dash further) and then air dash into the orb.

Thank you for all your great guides! If only I had found the shard to show the secret areas and had placed the map stone earlier I wouldn't have needed them and saved time and effort mopping up, but since I only found that out later, they were still very helpful lol
You asked to tell you if anyone knew another method than launch to get that spirit ball above the 2nd (left) spirit well at Luma Pools. Yes, you can get it w/o aunch, I just got it by dashing out of the water on the left as high as possible, but also a bit to the right (various angles between roughly 85-45° degree can work, iwater-dashing from where the dark rock is works best), but then you most likely require the triple jump shard*. Not saying it's flatout impossible w/o, but definitely MUCH more difficult, I couldn't get there w/o anyway.
*Triple jump shard: obtainable from Twillen (bearded guy w/ pointy hat) at the left of Wellspring glades, for 1.2k iirc.
I feel so stupid not throwing those lobsters into the water at 8:20 fight. I often use smash for those types of enemies, but bash is so much more convenient here xD
On the spot where you used the fire throw ability if you swim dash out of the left water pool straight up and double jump you can reach the orb using only luma pool abilities.

I do my best to play these types of games by the seat of my pants, because it's a little more fun and satisfying. That said, like all classic Metroid inspired games, there are certain parts where the game doesn't give you enough hints to know what to do. Videos like yours are extremely helpful. I've watched your videos for parts of almost every section of The Will of The Wisps. I hope you keep at it, and keep these excellent tutorials coming. Cheers.

11:54 you can "toughly" get it by using the swim dash to get into the right wall, no need to triple jump, just hold right into the edge of the wall like 2 times and you can get it
In order to get that above the well, I used spirit smash so that I can stay in the air a little longer.

05:11 the trick it is to flap from further to the left so it's a weaker push meaning the bubble doesn't go too much to the right and hit the spikes, the timing doesn't matter

If you watch trophy gamers pro and the will of the wisp luma pools walkthrough at 23:56 it shows you how to get up to the tree to get swim dash.

I like the game. Perhaps it's because I did things completely out of order, but it seems like most of the spirit shards are useless, and there's about 8 or 9 that are actually needed.
I’m a little confused at 8:20. The part where the water raises doesn’t happen for me. It just goes to the next set of lobsters and after that the doors open. Any tips?

Your videos have been very helpful. Can I ask what platform you're playing on? I downloaded the electronic version on the Nintendo Switch. Every now and then, it crashes on me. In addition, when doing Spirit Trials, it sometimes blatantly doesn't allow me to double jump. Hopefully Nintendo will patch it, so that I can actually get 100%.

Will a spirit trial add to the completion percentage if you finish without being killed but not without beating the other player?
you only have to complete the Spirit Trial in time to get your completion % for the map. If the timer turns red you wont get it

3:44 it has always annoyed me that there is a bubble there, there is a plant enemy that destroys it, there are 2 gates stopping it and you can open them to let the bubble through and it does... nothing. There is otherwise nothing I know of in the game that serves no purpose, so it leaves me wondering what the point of this is. Is there some hidden purpose that I'm missing or does it really do nothing? I mean it looks like a puzzle setup..
Hi, i just got the game & finished it, now i wanna do my map clears but the spirit challange for Luma Pools cant be used. I aktivated the end portal but the start is still in the ground. Can anyone help me?

I'm attempting a run on hard difficulty. It hasn't been too bad until now when I got to the Kwolok fight and I seriously don't know if I've got it in me to beat him.
The arena fight with the wooden bridge doesnt fill up with water for me. After the 2 lobsters and 2 mosquitoes the door just opens. The wooden thing at the top wont open an is also indestructible. Any idea whats wrong?

just follow the story through Luma Pools and you will get the ability.

Okay you say is the perfect root for you to take and yet you have the swim dash ability that apparently isn't until you get to the tree which is deep in I'm trying to go straight up since I can't get past the boulders and it's nearly impossible

yea that is the unfortunate bug that happens in this game. Where even though you have the entire map uncovered and all the collectibles it still does not count as 100%. I suggest just going into every corner, explore every inch of water. Takes forever but not much else you can do when it is bugged. This happened in the first game too, not sure how it wasnt fixed in this one.

I was stuck at 97% too and I got every collectible and stuff and I did the time trial and beat the ghost and that’s how I got 100%

while underwater you should be able to dash into the sand with underwater dash.
Irritated that I have to get swim dash but how the hell do I get it if this is the entrance. Also I do not understand how you used your abilities underwater cuz it won't work for me
Okay I just found out that you need the underwater dash to even be able to usabilities underwater. So you weren't very forthcoming with that You're acting like this is something you can just do. Not very helpful
So this video shows you how to do things in luma pools but you have swim dash when you started. No one else will. But no how to on that
Ugh
This is more of a 100% guide to show where all the collectibles are. You get swim dash by following the main story in this area. If you jeep going forwards youll be led to the tree. You don't need dash for most things, I just did it to make the video faster. But the game will give you the dash to get by any areas that can only be accessed with the dash.
Well this video sucks cuz I don't have water dash and water dash is in luma pools sooo horrible vid I don't recommend.
I still miss 5% don't know what tough.
There is a bug where it doesn't count towards completion when you get a collectible. The only thing you can do is run around to all the collectible spawns, jump around the area it spawns in and hope the game registers it.
