Nice Explanation. Only an advise... just the first you did taht is to connect the power is the last you should do. First, connect all the speaker and devices and at the end, the power, it avoids any possible problem. I am waiting for one unit I just have bought in second hand market at a good price. My only concern is that all the speaker system has dedicated connections, I wanted to connect it to a Bose Acoustimass 5 Series III I have :-(, I prefer, at least my wife is going to prefer, the small Acoustimass small cubes that that speakers.
Thanks for the feedback, I agree that plugging it in first isn't a great idea, I filmed this back when I was less knowledgeable on electronics back in middle school. As for connecting subs and speakers bought separately to this unit, yeah, it's a bit crap for Bose to make it all proprietary junk. From what I gather it was a unit marketed at the less... Technically knowledgeable, who wouldn't feel comfortable upgrading individual components in their setup, and would rather just chuck the whole thing and buy a new all in one.
