That vortex racing car is so uniquely, awesome, saw it at 24h Sebring, makes such an amazing bang sound when it changes gears. Also crazy how long in the distance you can hear the Porsches for.

Man these sounds are awesome! I'm going to hook into my sound system up on the 3rd level.... as I set up my new Carerra Slot Car set, and get that going. Picked up a couple extra cars too, and these sounds will be in my background.... but prominently, as I get up and running. Love this!

Group C cars at speed will always make me misty eyed. Especially that XJR9 SOHC V12 flat out down the Mistral straight at Paul Ricard still sounds magical.
You haven't lived until you've heard a Formula One V10, felt your skin turn to goosebumps with anticipation as the car comes howling down the track with all the fury of a nuclear wind.
One of the great car sounds indeed but for me the you haven't lived until sound has to be a top fuel dragster. Nothing comes close to the sheer volume that those things kick out. I have stood next to fighter jets on full afterburner and that STILL isn't as loud as a top fuel car. You can't see properly when they go past its so loud
