Great Britain was my favorite. SO graceful, emotive, and such attention to detail. such a gorgeous routine. in terms of dance/ artistry, they outshined their competition hands down
I think they should get bonus points when the body weight of the team is more even, as it greatly increases the difficulty of the routine for the men, and it looks slightly better.
Is this also an Olympic sport? I don't recall seeing it and I watched most of the gymnastics coverage of the last 2 olympics. It's like tumbling with couples but oh so much more. Surprised to see this is the 25th year, why is ice skating duos so much more popular?
United states acrobatic mixed pair is the best to me.Dance combination with great presentation and calm balance of beautiful constructive ideas of movement is great and better even get the silver medal.

Ann Nee Actually. When you start acrobatic sports at a young age it stunts your growth a lot. That's why many gymnastics and acrobats are tiny! She probably eats healthy, and conditions a lot. These athletes have been doing these sports since they were itty bitty.
Nobody is mentioning the russia routine? 3 triple saltos and 4 different variations of one arm hand to hand? Including a full twist from canon ball directly into a flag. Haha, there u can see what is possible. Yes their artistic was boring, but maybe they didn't had too much time for it:P But do u know what stupid is? Even one person can throw a triple, but it is not allowed for a four men group to do 4 saltos. Ridiculous. U can clearly see, that many have the height to do that and it is much less dangerous compared to combined skills like double to triple salto. Just saying

It’s honestly just because they are easier to throw and balance but that does typically mean they have to start at a very young age to get this good by the time they hit 15 which can be really hard on some, but if they are still here and competing at the world level it means that they love the sport so it’s still all good in the end. Yeah I hate teams with 12 or 13 yr old girls it just feels like its easier for them compared with teams that has older women
