I mark the peaks and valleys with a safety pin type of marker. The Clover are the best; but all brands work. This has saved me a lot of frogging (ripping out stitches).

I love the white in between the colors .. did you tell how to achieve that look .. I didn’t print the pattern yet so hopefully it will tell in the pattern how to get the white between the rows ..!! Just beautiful ..!!!
Ive bought 8 caron cakes, well ive bought a lot more, but for a blanket I want to make for myself I brought 8 cakes of bumbleberry and I keep looking through all the different patterns and wondering which one to make to go on my queen size bed, so I'm hoping I've got enough cakes, if not I'll need to buy more as I wasn't sure how many to buy but I just don't know which pattern to do, whether to do this one, hugs and kisses or Little Boy Blue in which I'm doing a knee/ baby one day blanket for my daughter in pistachio. There are so many great designs and I've only been crocheting for a couple of years but I'm moving along nicely having made quite a few baby items and blankets, oh & I did the journey of texture in Rhubarb cream. Thank you Mikey for taking me to do some great patterns 😊🤗😍💖sending love from Western Australia 🇦🇺. My daughter and I visit in Canada on the west side in 2012 an absolutely loved it, we went from Vancouver to Banff, Victoria Island . Even get mountaintop peak-to-peak it was just absolutely beautiful. 🇨🇦 💖💖💖😍😁🤗
Oh man I wish I had waited to see this as I tried a few days ago to make this blanket from another RUclipsr site, not mentioning who it was, her tutorial was so hard to follow. She went super fast and so I constantly had to hit pause which caused me to lose my place. Ended up frogging it as I was so frustrated. You make it look so much easier and as always your videos are so easy to follow. Will be making a blanket using this tutorial. Thanks Mikey
Thank you Mikey, and thank you Jeannie. Do you ever do a project and by the end or almost the end you really don't like the looks of it . And frog the whole thing.
We always place the free pattern in the video description link. We provided a multiple so you can change the sizes as well. We don't have the chain counts per size thought but you can make the chain longer as per the multiples to adjust.
I don't understand how my stitch count was ALWAYS off for the cris cross when I flogged the whole damn thing and started again to make sure I had 12. Make it make sense. I give up I've tried to do this like 4 times 😂
I just learned the wave concept. Love this. My next baby blanket right here
I love this blanket. It reminds me of the Hugs & Kisses blanket. Thank you for producing this tutorial.
It's similar on the wave format with easing off of the bobbles and adding more textured stitches.
I am such a fan of y'all! I started crocheting 10 years ago as a form of therapy for my PTSD and anxiety. It's helped me more than I can ever say.
Crochet is a therapy tool
You my number one guru tutor for any crochet class
Love you Mikey
Thank you for your encouragement.

I love this one Jeanie! So sweet and textured! Thank you Mikey for the great tutorial! Hugs 🤗. Robin

Thank you Mikey, and thank you Jeannie. Do you ever do a project and by the end or almost the end you really don't like the looks of it . And frog the whole thing.
Yes... we both of have done that. You cannot put something online if you don't like it yourself.
Thank you so much for this, I can’t wait till the normal Be Mine baby blanket comes! ❤
Thank you for making these videos!
Can this blanket be made bigger, like a lapghap or throw? Also, is there a written pattern? I do better with written. Anyway thanks, it's so pretty!

I think this pattern would be amazing if you used colors for a gingerbread house for a Christmas quilt.
that's true.
Mikey I’m your 1st like and comment 😀
You even beat me to adding the pinned comment with the free pattern. haha

Mikey I’m the 1st like on this video and 1st comment
Yes you are! :)
@@TheCrochetCrowd I love you, your voice and your passion for crochet.
I'm having issues with my count after row 5. When I go to repeat after doing row 5, the count is off. And I cannot figure out why
That's really odd. I won't be able to tell from my desk here why that's happening to you.
I rewatched the video and figured out where my mess up is
That's wonderful. I'm glad you were able to get some clarity.
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Thanks.
