We took a trip to Washington, DC for a few days and we went to Delaware to visit for family. We enjoy some good food, get dressed up and meet up with KG for a rooftop dinner. We also get to spend the day on the White House South Lawn and go to the National African American Culture and History Museum for the first time.

Yes it is, I've visited there twice, my auntie and my cousins live there and I had a great time. I hope to get another chance to go back and visit. Even though my auntie has passed, I would still love to go back and visit and hopefully see my cousins. Thanks for sharing another wonderful vlog

Glad you had a wonderful time in DC, including visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture. I have visited several times. The numerous exhibits (over 3,000 items on display) cover so much more than civil rights, including our African history and our contributions to the arts, politics, science, education, sports, the military etc. I am fortunate to live in the area, so I can visit during off times when it is not crowded (midweek, not during the holidays or spring break). I hope that one day your family gets the chance to squeeze in another visit during an off time, so that you all can really enjoy the museum and all that it has to offer.
I love Zi Zi's hair all those beautiful highlights. I love love Ia's braids, she's grown up on us fast. Issac waves were waving, I wish I had that hair texture. As always mom and dad looking good.

You also need to go to the museum on a weekday instead of a weekend. Weekdays are not as crowded. It's a lot of information to take in on just one visit. Since there are so many floors of information, you will need more than one visit to take it all in the different levels of info that is presented there.😊

My son lives in DC. I'm going down next month to go to the African American museum. BTW I live in New Castle DELAWARE!! MY HOME TOWN!

The hair situation reminded me so much of myself messing with my grandmamma's hair and my mom's hair. Brought back some good memories.

I have visited every building in Washington, DC would go every year but the new African Museum you really need 3 days to see it all. Don't go at holiday time, or when school is out.

I love ya'll 's adventures, I call them that because they are more than trips and vacations. Ya'll make them family affairs. I always like how you and Curtis let your inner kids out, so you can really enjoy, each moment and it was nice that ya'll got to the Cole Life! And Duana your great nephew is adorable and Zai Zai looked like he didn't want to stop holding his baby cousin 🥰and as always the food looked delicious!
