Since one Stay mentioned Han's live in the above, I will add some more.
Han said in one of his lives that one should listen to lots of songs and study the lyrics in order to compose well.
And in the recent live he said that the love songs he has listened to are songs about breakups or the bitterness of love, so the lyrics that naturally comes to him when he write a song usually goes into that direction and to write about sweet and happy loves is not an easy task for him. He thinks his love song category in his brain are filled with those unhappy love songs.
Han said it seems as if some miserable guy who fails in love and feels miserable is living in his head. So he wrote a song as if he writes a story. The songs he has listened were just unhappy love songs, but somehow if he himself writes a unhappy love song, then a spoonful of pitiness and nerdiness is added into its lyrics.
He put miserable as the title of that song just because once the song was complered, he thougt that the song is about a miserable guy's love story and miserable suits as its title.
But, still he also managed to write several songs describing happy and sweet loves and if he has a chance, he will share with us in the future.
"Close" is a song about happy love and Han said for that song he had a scene clearly in his mind first so he could write that song. Before, he got inspirations first and then wrote, but in these days he starts from pretty melodies or lyrics to come to him when he listens to a given track. (For example, for Volcano he said in another live that the words volcano came first to him when he listened to the track and he liked the subject "volcano" so he started from there.
Han said his mbti is "s" but when he writes a song he thinks that he becomes "n", in other words, he can imagine well.
By the way, Han(3racha) is just Han.
When all 3racha write together, it will be Chan(3racha), Changbin(3racha), Han(3racha)
So for miserable, Han wrote the lyrics and the melodies(topline) and he used the track written by chAN's from team TAKE A CHANCE. First he got the track from chAN's and put melodies and lyrics going well with it.
Han has listened this genre recently so he wanted to write one by himself (This was written in June) and he released it not because he is pretty confident in this song but because he wanted to know Stay's reactions as listeners since this is a kind of new genre for him to challenge. His shouting vocal styles would have conflicted with this track, so he also changed his vocal styles to suit to this song. He is enjoying to find matching vocal styles and to experiment with different styles or mixing them.

Thank you for sharing insight of Han's writing style. Understanding how he works make it a little more special to listen too. Keep adding to Stay's SKZ's knowledge and lore!
Han's storytelling is just something else ( and the way he uses certain music samples to utilize that, ohhh love the glitches and how he hits those beats). For most songs he has written, they feel like complete narrative of tragedy or inspiration. He just knows how to set a scene, i think that's the element that makes it more of a story rather than a journal entry of emotions. It's apparent in Hold On when he sets the scene of the dog comforting its owner despite the one dying or waving goodbye as it walks on the rainbow. Or in here where he is conversing with the other person.
Ps. I do remember Click, i may not remember lines, but so many scenes popped up in my head when u mentioned it. Han's personna would probably be stuck on the replay feature, maybe shouting at his past self too 😅 or pausing the world and smacking the guy that his partner is thinking of...farting at his face while he is at it. Hahahaha

Hyunjin's song was teased in one of the Rachalog episodes and now he released the full song
Miserable is such a great song it really got me thinking of "what happened the quokka that he wrote such DEEP lyrics?!" . In one of his recent lives a Stay asked him what the song was about and he said something along the lines of "isn't it just a story of a miserable person?"

There's two different backgrounds about Seungmins song hold on, one is that Jisung took inspiration form a convo with Seungmin, but there is also an guess that han took inspiration form both the convo but also from the lose of his old dog. Both can be right so it's a little guessing game on which one it is
I didn't think I would cry again to "Hold On" because this is a reaction video, but I was so wrong! Right after you said "making the memories worth something/happy for the time together" that created a waterfall of tears.
I can't even go into detail why the words you said impacted me so much, it is a long and hard story to talk about.
But I again thank you for making such amazing reaction videos, they truly do bring comfort to a depressed potato such as myself! ♡
Well freak 😭 I decided to read the lyrics this time after I found this reaction video of yours and now I'm for real crying 😭 Han wrote such a heartbreaking but beautiful song and Seungmin sang it so well omg... 💗 I never listened to Hyunjin's and Han's song before this so it was so nice to hear them now 🥰 That artwork by Hyunjin is a whole masterpiece too damnnn!! He's so talented at everything he does, his singing, rapping, dancing, writing songs, drawing wow 💞 I would need to read the lyrics many more times to understand tho cuz I'm the worst at understanding metaphors lol!!! And I'm freakin obsessed with Han's song too!!! He's so versatile with his music and it's so amazing to see and hear! I feel so bad cuz I couldn't even read the lyrics of his song tho cuz I was too busy jamming to it 😅

I lost my first dog by an car accident 2 years ago… I still missing her so bad… but I hope she is playing with my 15yo dog who passed away after. The older one was living with my parents. I don’t believe in humans heaven, but I hope there one for our pets and animals… now I have my 2yo Mora and 1yo Maki plus two Mora’s siblings who live with my parents… I love how we can change their live by taking care of them and them, just by existing, give us the most pure love 🐾🐾🐾
I have to admit, I thought of skipping Hold on, because I knew I would cry. The not so funny thing is that ironicaly I had to put to sleep my cat the day before hold on was released. I know it's about a dog but to me it's about my cat who I knew for longer than half of my life. I just can't listen to this beautiful song without crying which is so sad because listen to it with you for the second time showed me how beautiful it truly is. Maybe some day, when I am not so sad anymore, I'll listen to this song...sorry I am just so sad again v.v
Hyunjins had showed this song already on their tour so I am very happy that it's out now! It shows how romantic Hyunjin is and that he's someone who will hold onto love no matter what...
And Hans song is just as sad as Hyunjin. My first thought was that Han's lyrical I deserves better than this kind of relationship. But in the end they're both miserable...

Leave it to Han to compose masterpieces over a conversation. I love them all equally but there is just something about Han and the way he composes his music that kinda tells a story and are quite relatable while making the song enjoyable that is striking, beautiful, & melancholic. Hyunjin is straight up poetic which is something I love about him and how he shows how confident he is. Is it me or does Han sounds like Jungkook?? Dont want to compare them they are different people and have their uniqueness but to me Han sounded similar to Jungkook I kinda want a collab between the two just like Exo(Kai) & Ateez(San).
Hold On was very relatable to me since I have 3 dogs and they are my kids I work just for them they have their own room, human size beds each and a closet full of clothes for them I take them everywhere with me specially when I travel, take them to a dog spa weekly I live for them I will really be devastated the moment they no longer are with me.

I really love Han's songs I have to say miserable is one of my favorite song by Han ❤
“ I don’t care about humans, but you kill a dog … and that fuck me” …. Yes, I am the same. I love all of kind of animals and the awful things that some “humans /monster” do to animals, just make me so angry, sad, and makes me feel dirty, because I am part of this human society.
So… I know what you feel and I share it.
The first time that I listened Hold On, I was walking in the street and have to stop because I can’t see anymore the lyrics or my path… my eyes went full of tears… My first dog born 3 months before me, and we grow up together a until she die on my twenty years old.
Now I have 4 cats… the first 2 cats I rescued them in a Park… someone thrown in the garbage 4 kittens with 1 month old. 2 of them I gave in adoption and 2 were adopted by me.
After that I rescued 1 more cat and adopt from a shelter another.
Now, Azumi and Heiko have 15 years old and Azumi have Kidney chronic disease… She is stable, but I am facing that the time for My Queen ,Azumi is on counting down…so, this music really touch me heart.
