I'm still bitter about it! Like, they had such an in with vegans and vegetarians that a lot of other places don't, and they chopped us! 😡😭
And now they are taking away pico so we can't do fresco style. Like that was our safe word lol
i'm not 100% sure if this is a glitch or not but on the taco bell app, if you try to customize one of the new menu items potatoes are an option for substitutions, sadly the app won't let you order them but they're there again!!!

Just an FYI-- the zucchini and onion rings at Carl's Jr, have dairy in them according to the allergen menu! So if you're vegan or allergic to dairy, that's something to look out for. Just figured I would share because I hate making mistakes like this because they can hurt my stomach :P
@M. P. in order to bread the zucchini they dip it back and forth from milk egg mix and bread crumbs. Not sure if you thought that comment through. That’s how you deep fry just about anything the Non vegan way .

Sweden has a vegan burger option as well! I def thought such a huge city like LA would have it 🤭
@@SpockNRoll Yes I’ve heard that many european cities have a vegan option and I think it’s great! I love that I don’t have to eat a sad side salad when my friends go to McDonalds. I’m surprised because LA seems to be one of the places where most vegans live in the world. I think fast food chains are really missing out on $$ there but on the other hand I love that therefore probably more vegans go to private restaurants who don’t belong to a chain. But maybe that’s just hoping.

I would say mostly just to give that option to vegetarians/vegans, and also if anyone who does eat meat wants a ‘healthier’ option or to cut down their meat consumption!

The impossible whopper patty looks like the patty that Spongebob found under the grill and when he tried to throw it away because it was spoiled Mr.Krabs wouldn't let him
At McDonald’s you can get a smoothie (ask for no yogurt and it’s vegan) and a few packets of granola. Then you have a smoothie bowl. Could ask for their raisins and apples. The same goes for their oatmeal if you get it without creamer. As far as Burger King, the majority of fast food places only have 1-2 grills so they’d never be able to cook it on a separate burner. The microwave is the only option. Also that fried zucchini and onion rings from Carl’s Jr. are NOT vegan.

@@Roman-bw2fo it's a beef powder in the seasoning salt. I think it's only in the USA where the McDonald's use the beef. 😢 I was getting ramen for a while and realized that even though I wasn't getting the meat flavored ones, even the chili and soy ramen has meat flavoring.

I guess it's because they weren't really incorporated into their menu for vegans/vegetarians; they were marketed as a challenge and sort of gimmick for meat-eating people
yeah it's more of a you aren't vegan/vegetarian but you would still like to reduce the amount of harm your diet causes animals

I am well aware that veganism is much less harmful to animals than vegetarianism because it is obvious. Their grouping in my comment was completely appropriate since I was speaking about meat eaters who want to reduce harm. I never once claimed that vegans and vegetarians are the same, thank you.
I know a lot of vegans, including myself, who don’t care that is on the same grill. It in no way contributes to animal harm. But I can see why that might gross people out

Del taco has a lot of vegan options!! They put the beyond meat in their tacos and you can just ask for no cheese or get beyond meat in the burritos or whatever you wanna put it in lol they also still have their potato options I think 😂

we have the vegan chicken burger at kfc here in canada and that shit is SOOOOO GOOOOD, it fulfills every fast food chicken burger craving i have had since going vegan lol. the mayo is vegan too :)

@@aileenrodriguez3260 The burgers at Burger King roll in this roller oven thingy, though it is still touching where beef was it isnt much grease at all actually, I think the system is meant to stop excess grease as there a trey underneath and then they get stored in completely seperate containers as well so people shouldn't really worry but I understand if it still makes people uncomfortable.
The crunchwrap is good with guac and hot sauce smothered on top!
All of those food service workers were so friendly and polite, those interactions can honestly turn someone's day around 😊

I totally relate to the guilt you get when you don’t order meat but you get it anyway and don’t want to waste it. One time I got something with the meat on the side so someone else could have it, the waiter dropped it on the way over and remade it so really it was two servings of meat as though I had ordered it. There are moral emotional dilemmas unique to vegans/vegetarians!

Serious question: I’ve been a vegan since late 1999 and a veg for five years before that in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, and I can’t for the life of me understand why it actually matters that your meal is prepared on the same grill or how that furthers our cause (unless there’s an allergy). I used to insist on this, too, but...isn’t it more important that it be doable for even big chains to prepare vegan options/make them delicious and reduce the amount of meat consumed in general?
(Totally get it if it’s health or allergy related and not mad at anyone asking for special cooking of their meal, but I’ve quit that bit, and the impossible whopper can be pretty great if it isn’t microwaved)
I'm vegan for ethical reasons, so I really don't feel confortable with having something that has the slightly trace of animal suffering, It's not that I notice it, but I feel guilty about it as I see a cow the same as a dog, but I get that people who do it for the environment don't care about it.

I’m proud of Carl’s Jr. for doing so well. That was my first real job, when I was 16, and it’s still one of my favorite fast food restaurants. They also have a side salad there, or they used to anyway.
It feels weird to see Andrew outside 😂
