@Juzman I'm actually not a teen, but I appreciate the compliment! LOL! I'm actually 50 yrs old, but am a fairly new convert to metal. I have a very diverse taste in music, but I definitely lean towards mostly metal, especially symphonic, progressive or just classic. I have found some great stuff out there and I keep finding more it seems like every week. I found Amorphis about a year ago. Love them!

Pasi has changed his looks so many times on each album he's been to. Tuonela is a very underappreciated album sor sure.

I heard Amorphis first with Joutsen and it just blew me away. Then the old Amorphis, which was great too. And then came Elegy and Tuonela and they were even better.
Now I miss Pasi so much :((((

Totally agree, 3 years after the first publication..the whole fuckn album , the specific one is a masterpiece. Pasi Koskinen is the best and only voice of amorphis..rest vocalists just crap..no offence. The guy is great!

@swstryker I will clarify. My comment was more to long term metal fans. Sure it's not your fault if you're a teen and only been into metal a few years. I just get annoyed at long term "metal" fans suddenly discovering them in the last few years. They have been out since 1991, putting out awesome metal for close to 20 years! It's more of a stab at their ignorance than anything - In this multimedia age there really is no excuse for long time metal fans recently finding a band as old as Amorphis.

everything i love about metal : European band,Thor's hammer,great vocals (did you ever hear Pasi's voice in Shape of Despair???HOLY FUCK HE CAN GROWL!!!) ,um , pale ,white dudes with long hair and snow...now if this band was from the US they would wear their hats backwardness,sporting some stupid 'Affliction' ,trendy t-shirt,have tattoos that relate more to some trendy ass thing thats 'in' than anything else,do screamo breakdowns and SUCK ASS.

Why would you call me pathetic just because I just found out about this group about a year ago? I would commend people for "finding" this group no matter when. I like Amorphis. I just happen to like both Pasi and Tomi, but since I found Amorphis with Tomi first, I lean towards the newer stuff. i really do not like the "Cookie Monster on steroids" death growls. JMHO

OMG all these nubs that have only just recently discovered Amorphis are pathetic... unless you're 12 years old there is no excuse for not knowing about Amorphis for at least 10 years. I mean they released their first album in 1992!
Pasi for me is the only singer, this new Tomi Joutsen sounds so weak... I pray for the day Pasi comes back.
