A Message from JARED LETO:
I’m sitting in the dark writing this having just finished this little film and although I don’t feel quite done yet it’s time to let it go.
This is a story about an incredible adventure that we all shared together this summer. A summer that we will never forget. It’s also a reminder (for myself as well) to LIVE LIFE NO MATTER WHAT. But ultimately it’s a love letter to you all. The believers.
Even before I started shooting I thought of it as a companion piece to Closer To The Edge, a sequel of sorts, the next chapter. I knew it had to be special as Closer is held in such high regard by you all. So we worked hard. And then worked even harder. Sharing this journey with you all has been the gift of a lifetime and I hope you can see and feel that in this piece…our gratitude. It was difficult to surrender this one. I wanted to keep filming, continue the interviews, discover more, learn more and stay on the journey. But it was time and here it is. I hope it speaks to all of you and lets you know how much you mean to us.

It's never too late to start making your dreams come true
"Fate is coming. Time to do or die." Not sure how to describe this, but no other band has had the ability to pick me up when I've been down, when I've been hurt and forgotten, when I've felt worthless. I'm just so lucky I found this group of dreamers in jared, tomo, and shannon. It's crazy how everything they've produced so far, from the last to the first, has touched me somehow. The emotional journey from self-titled to LLF+D is remarkable and I've found meaning and commonality for everything in between. It gives me hope and that's all I've ever needed. This is the second song I've listened to and watched from this band and I'm in tears. I think I might have stumbled upon a great band, I feel it.

+Sava Roxana, this is one of my favourite bands. I love how they dabble in different genres, but always stay true. Their music and videos are gorgeous, their concerts seem to-die-for. Jared is not only a great artist, but an amazing method actor. I found them pretty late when they released their documentary. I didn't even know who they were as I watching it, but I loved it. I searched their music and fell in love. I've listened to all, if not almost all of their music. They are beyond great. :)

This guy jared's gonna be 45 this December and shannon's already 46, gonna be 47 next March. Tomo just turned 37. These guys are pretty old yet theyre still out there doing world tours, sweating their asses off, living out loud. It is truly an inspiration. Age is but a number.

The world needs more Jared Letos and his type of music. He's a constant reminder that there's still good left in this world and for us not to get wrapped around all the bad news in the media. Still listen to his music to this day, love 30 STM, and I'm growing more fond of Jared Leto as an individual each day.

I still can't get over how great of a singer Jared Leto is. How many actors that you know are true vocalists??

I have only heard of this band because of this song 6 years ago. Got hooked on this melody and his voice ever sinvece and it's the only song I go back to over and over again. But never looked beyond who or what this band is. Sometimes you like something so much you dont need to see beyond. Until two days ago I came across someone said Jared Leto, I had a sudden realization that the singer is the same actor that I started to put my eyes on since his performance in Blade Runner! So now there is too much for me to process. Jared Leto extremely talented.

I remember this one song, plus it's lyrics, and the interviews from fans hit me like a train back in January 2014. My grandmother had died a couple of weeks before a 30STM show in Mexico City; and when I got to scream my lungs out singing this anthem ... I felt liberated, at peace. That's what music is for, a catharsis.

Been listening to this every time I have been in the hospital for my illness and it keeps me so motivated. I am in tears every time I listen to it and it has been 3 years now. Brought it back today when I was finished with surgery and I feel so strong.

It is so difficult to find people who are as addicted to music as I am, and I know that here - with THIS band - everyone gets it. You need it like it's air. A lot of people just don't get that concept. The love that the three of them pour into their songs, both lyrically and musically is beyond practically every other band out there today. Their messages are all thought-provoking and healing at the same time. This particular song is probably one of the best anthems you could ever have. I think there are so many important messages that they deliver throughout; it's truly hard to find one line that speaks the loudest. This song, and many of their other songs, are just so poetic and so TRUTHFUL. The words could be complicated but the meaning is just so potent that you understand it instantly. It's beautiful and they are one of the few bands that can accomplish that feat. THIS is magic. And they are the people I turn to the minute I feel like I can't take it. The minute I feel like I'm breaking, it's this song and these people that remind me that the story does indeed go on.

Yeah, 30 Seconds to Mars is partially responsible for my survival. Thanks to their awesome music, I had energy and will to keep living when I was seriously I'll, like I almost died 4 times in the last 5 years. That is rough for anyone and I had to be alone in it as well.
You don't have to be alone. The Echelon are all around you and love you even if we may not know exactly who you are. That's what makes it so beautiful. Life can be hard but keep pressing on.

There are so many times when I want to curl up in a ball and just wish I could be that talented or do something amazing, but I just sit in my room and obsess. Or I just freak out about my stressful little life, which isn't all that bad. But then I hear you music and I truly feel inspired and limitless. Like, dreams are real possibilities and you really get that feeling across. Thank you for getting me off my ass and getting me motivated. Thank you for saving lives and doing what you do.

Regardless of whether you like the song (although I don't know how you couldn't), this is the most beautiful music video possibly ever. I've watched it so many times and it always brings me to tears. It's just a gorgeous portrait of the incredible human spirit and how music connects us even if we don't speak the same language or have anything in common other than the love of a great song.
This is single-handedly one of the best music videos. It's a love story between music, life, performers and the echelon. It radiates unconditional love.

I've watched this video several times, but I never read the description before. That message from Jared show us how kind he is and how much love he have for us, the echelon. how incredible. :) It's like, you have 2,3 or maybe 4 songs in a album you really like, songs you always hear again again and again, but in this album you have 12 of those songs.
This is probably one of or maybe even my most favorite music video. That is why I want to be a singer. The way they connect with their audience is incredible and if I even had half of that connection with someone, I would be the happiest girl in the world. They make me so happy and I'm glad that I found them. This fanbase is so incredible and beautiful, it all just makes me so so happy I can't even describe it.
One of the best memories I have is when I taught my mom the arrow-hand thing, and she came to a show with me, and during Closer to the Edge when Jared taught everyone how to do it, she put her hands up so proud that she already knew it.
She passed away less than a year later from cancer, and I'll never forget how she looked in that moment.
That must have been a beautiful moment for you, I am so sorry for your loss.

Tonight, June 10th 2018, I finally had the honor of hearing this song live. It was my first concert, with my all time favorite band, Thirty Seconds to Mars! I upgraded and went right into the pit and got first row. Jared made my night the best night of my entire life when he pointed at me and brought me on stage along with 2 others to pick which side was louder as he began to sing Do or Die. Jared, Shannon, Tomo... if you ever see this, know that you made my night amazing, but also know that ever since I’ve discovered you, you’ve been there with me through the toughest of times and have saved me countless more. Never stop doing what you do
Oh, my God, this band... this band. This band is so undermined & given such small credit... their music, their concerts, just *them.* I love this whole band so much. I never really like groups, just their music &/or maybe a couple of songs, but I've never been so obsessively happy with just the entire *band* before. They're so enthusiastic & joyful & crazy. xD I wish I could be like that. To just let it out, to shout, to scream at a concert, to jump up & down... but I don't. I have been struggling with the death of my mother and this song hits me in my heart. The music of these three amazing men helps me find my way out of the darkness and into the light. I have been so alone. Afraid to reach out, afraid to be seen, afraid to show who I really am. The Echelon embraced me, the gave me a place to feel safe and loved. I remember when this song came out, my dad past away from cancer and I remember how much this song got me through that hard time. Thirty seconds to Mars needs to make a big come back tour. Jared leto is one of the best live performances I've ever seen.

TSTM has a deep understanding and they know how to put it into words. Usually words can hardly express the sensations or emotions that are muted as a wound inside. But they have done it successfully. And I just love Jared’s voice which is pure passion and feelings !
Sometimes I burst out in tears because these boys are so amazing and the music they produce and the energy within the Echelon it's just phenomenal I don't think I could ever not like this band their music makes me feel so much
