I think he uses a backing track for some songs. He still sings on top, but it’s noticeable when a chorus is playback. He turns his back away from the crowd. He has always done this. You can see it in “Ich Hasse Kinder”, “Knebel”, etc. Some choruses are complete playback. Till has done this with Rammstein too since 2009. He’s 60, so whatever. I cut him a break
I don’t mind the occasional playback or backing track because I want him to sound good. He still sings but sometimes he needs help singing certain parts. Anyone with any musical ear can pick up on it. I don’t mind because he’s not abusing it. And he’s 60, I wouldn’t want him to sound like Motley Crue. They use playback and still sound like scheiße.
