I still fly my Aerobird 3 that I absolutely love. The aircraft just glides so well that you don’t have to always be on the throttle. I was thinking about getting one of these Aeroscouts from time to time for the brushless motor, lipo battery, modern transmitter & ailerons. After seeing how fragile that front wheel can be, I’m not so sure. Other than that, it seems like a fantastic rc plane.
This is my fav go to place that I can fly anywhere. Loads of fun. Only downside is that the nose gear is susceptible to hard landings. Suggest reenforcing it.
Yeah we’ve come to notice that. Currently in our thought since this outings flights, lol! We’ve been checking RUclips for ideas. Really appreciate your comment. 👍🏻 Also when landing on rough or bumpy hard ground/grass the front wheel likes to rip out the bottom. 😬

We removed the front wheel and now belly land it in the grass! Other than that it’s an awesome bird. Everyone should have one beginner to expert!
