It is the eve of Chinese New Year, and Cultists have emerged to cleanse the city of Hong Kong so that they will earn their salvation after what they believe will be the end of the world. Earn back your honor in the HKPD by sabotaging the cultist plot across six new missions set after the original Sleeping Dogs story.

Wei gets demoted to beat patrol after causing too much chaos in the main story, only to end up saving New Years from a bunch of crazy cultists who are convinced the End of the World is imminent. Fun but short DLC!

from Detective demoted to Patrol them promoted to SWAT, i see this has a win
All within one night!
All that was a big hommage to a TC NYC. After some critical dissappointments Marcus can be demoted to beat.
ok so in this game SDU is seen as equal to SWAT, but in the real life HKPD the equivalent of SWAT is actually CTRU (Counter Terrorism Response Unit, I dont think they are featured in this game) and SDU is more like FBI HRT equivalent

Great to see this again! I always wanted a DLC where Wei realizes he can't go back to being a detective after all he's done, so he somehow rejoins the Sun On Yee in their struggle against the 18k or other triads.

Seeing the intro of Wei demoted and do patrol cop do, its funny to me tbh and why the music so fit? XD
I loved this dlc because you actually got to play as a street cop. In the main game you still felt like playing a gangster and the cop jobs were like 2 minutes long and you get auto assigned uniforms and stuff but this dlc delivered the cop side nicely

This DLC reminds me of True Crime NYC when we kill too many innocent civilians and then got demoted to police officer.

Oh I forgot about the year of the snake dlc it's been a min. This dlc was my favorite what was your guys favorite dlc of sleeping dog?
The Zodiac Tournament was my favourite. Even though it was short there was a lot of detail packed into it with some nice references. If you took your time to explore everything it was great! New of the Snake comes second.
I forgot how much I liked Wei. Does what needs to be done even if he's told not to.
What baffles me to this day with Sleeping Dogs is that there's no AKM assault rifle featured in the game... Funny how gangsters in this game have easy access to QBZ assault rifles
