ive been 14 times, 4 times last year, was there 4 weeks ago and goi ng back 20th sep for a week. beach bars are dear, afew others are alos but u can eat at very reasonable prices too, and drink for decent prices also. for eg, my hotel b&b for a week is £147-bargain. it was 4 weeks ago also. i was there for the first time 2018 and bar street was absolutely mobbed, but prices to up all over the place. for the sun, and for reasonable prices i think its just fine.
I'm Australian and I love Bodrum. My family and I lived their recently for 18 months and only moved as it was getting more difficult to attain a visa. For evenings I prefer Kumbahce, Bitez, Ortakant and Gumusluk much more than Gumbet. Just my personal opinion
Many people living in Turkey dream of living in Bodrum. You and your family came from Australia and lived everyone's dream. But unfortunately, Bodrum is not what it used to be. In recent years Bodrum has suffered a big shock, especially this year, because of the high prices and the selfish use of Bodrum for their own interests when everyone should be embracing Bodrum. It seems certain that it will be even worse next year. You have visited really nice places, Gumbet is the last place to visit in my opinion (it can be the first place for young people ) :)
@NoOneTrip I met many nice folks and will likely come back next summer to visit. Prices are so high now though especially things like red meat and wine.
@@duncanbrown4858 It was the hour when everyone should be out. so I went out to take a video of the crowded environment. but unfortunately everywhere is empty
@NoOneTrip Thanks for the update, looking forward to going there. More for the restaurants of the main strip where the locals eat. We are not all inclusive as would rather give the locals our money. Thanks for the film keep up the good work.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s always helpful to hear from someone who knows the area so well. Enjoy your upcoming trip!

@@ajdrums8075 It's not an unlovable country, it's just that the people who live there don't appreciate it. See you next time you're in blackrock.
