I use the plain resin Ommi. The others are pretty but the solid resin don't have that Ridge. They are my favorite hook.

If you get a squeak from the Prym hook, rub a dryer sheet on the shaft. You have to do it periodically, but it helps.
Jennifer has also started using the Dots hooks from WeCrochet. I got a set and I like them. I'm using one for amigurumi at the moment.

Hi Sandy. Often I use Clover Amour hooks, and got one Prym to try (when doing textured stitches that have a lot of loops to hold on the shaft of the hook). It might be difficult for me to get used to the longer hook. Like you, going to have to change how I hold hook/project... Your dragons turned out great!
Have you tried Ophire hooks? They have a sharp head that’s excellent for those stubborn yarns that are difficult to poke through.

I think if you did use your basement…if you filled it up with lots of colorful yarns and lots of lighting with lots of soft type fabrics and rugs it would be so much more pleasant and enjoyable for you where you would enjoy going down there. 😉

Good Morning Sandy🤗 I have a Prym hook I got at Michael’s, there is no seam, but love it. The saying with the dragon is wonderful. The purple dragon is a great color, can’t wait to see it finished. I'm not crazy about the Prym, I don't like the long shaft. If I hold it correctly, I find I'm too far from my work. humm!! Also don't like the drag with the plastic. I have some Omni hooks, also the resin. Prefer the resin to the wood. My preferred hook is the clover.
